- the invention further relates to a Continuous dishwashing device for baskets with one Cleaning zone with outlet nozzles for cleaning liquor and a cleaning tank, a rinse aid zone with outlet nozzles for rinse aid liquid and one rinse aid tank and one Drying zone, one from a transport drive driven transport device for the intermittent Crockery basket transport is provided which the crockery baskets transported forward step by step.
- Continuous dishwashing devices especially for the Cleaning of those incurred in the case of communal catering cleaning dishes and cutlery are in the technology well known.
- dishwashers in the domestic area usually at a fixed Arrangement of the dishes and cutlery items to be cleaned
- Program sequence with successive operating levels perform, go through in industrially used Continuous dishwashing devices to be cleaned Crockery and / or cutlery items that are stationary in the Device arranged treatment zones by using these a suitable conveyor the entire Pass through the continuous dishwasher.
- Conventional continuous dishwashers have essentially four different treatment zones, one Pre-cleaning zone, a cleaning zone, a rinse zone as well as a drying zone.
- cleaning zone and rinse zone are in each case Outlet nozzles for cleaning liquor or rinse aid intended.
- Outlet nozzles for cleaning liquor or rinse aid intended There is therefore a tank in each of these zones arranged in which of the dishes and / or Cutlery items or cleaning fleet Rinse aid is collected.
- the Cleaning liquor generally consists of water
- the one Detergent added will come in the rinse aid zone essentially pure water and rinse aid Application.
- the cleaning liquor is therefore strongly alkaline, while the rinse aid is essentially pH neutral or is angry.
- the invention relates to continuous conveyor dishwashers, how they are used when in a kitchen a "basket organization" is operated. With such a "Basket organization" becomes dishes to be cleaned, for example glasses to be cleaned, immediately put in baskets and that Dishes are then put in the dishwasher with the basket introduced.
- An advantage of these continuous conveyor dishwashers is that the device is mechanical is easier and cheaper to build than one continuously operated continuous dishwasher with conveyor belts passing through the device.
- intermittently operated basket continuous dishwashers the energy consumption and the Water consumption compared to a continuously operated Device less.
- the invention has for its object a generic Continuous dishwashing device for baskets as well Method for operating a continuous dishwasher specify for crockery baskets, each with a reduction in Enable water and energy consumption.
- This task is accomplished through a method of operating a Continuous dishwashing device for baskets according to Claim 1 and also by a method according to claim 4 and by a continuous dishwasher for Dish baskets with the features of claim 5 and also solved with the features of claim 8.
- the invention is based on the basic idea, the individual Zones of the continuous dishwasher are only then closed operate if there is a basket in them, and save water and energy.
- Another idea of the invention is the crockery basket only in the rinse aid zone with rinse aid liquid apply when the crockery basket is moved forward, and interrupt the exposure to rinse aid liquid, when the basket stops.
- a permanent one Loading of the crockery basket with the contained therein Dishes, cutlery or the trays in the rinse aid zone Rinse aid has an unnecessarily high water, Rinse aid and energy consumption result.
- one electronic storage device with a sequential allocable storage space arrangement with the of the Detected signals can be acted upon is a cyclically operating control device for control the allocation of the memory device with the signals from the Detection device (84) and a position determination device to determine the position of a crockery basket provided from the stored signals.
- the detection device for detecting the presence of a Dish basket in the area of the entrance to the Continuous dishwashing device works preferentially contactless; but it can also have a sensor that is operated by mechanical contact.
- At least one is alternative or supplementary Sensor device that the current state of motion of the Dish baskets determined, and a control device provided depending on an output signal of the Sensor device the exit of the rinse aid liquid the outlet nozzles releases when the crockery baskets be transported forward, and which the exit of the Rinse aid stops when the baskets stop. Stopping and releasing the flow of the Rinse aid can be in a known manner via valves the lines leading to the outlet nozzles for the Rinse aid liquid or by switching on and off appropriate pumps for the rinse aid liquid.
- the transport drive with the sensor device is preferred for detecting the direction of movement of the swing frame Mistake.
- This embodiment allows a compact Arrangement of the sensor device directly on Transport drive.
- the swing frame with the sensor device for detecting the direction of movement of the swing frame.
- the sensor device preferably has a contactless working sensor. This will make maintenance relieved and reduced the susceptibility to failure.
- the transport drive for the forward transport of the Crockery baskets after each transport step for a specifiable Time span persistent.
- the Water consumption and energy consumption are proportional adapted the throughput capacity of the dishwasher become.
- This measure can also be used to implement a machine type a continuous dishwasher for a variety of Capacities are created by alone control parameters, such as the time period during who stops the basket can be changed without it different machine equipment required. This means, with a single motor for the transport drive wide range of applications for Continuous dishwashers or on types of Continuous dishwashing devices are created.
- Fig. 1 shows a schematic longitudinal section through a Continuous dishwashing device, generally designated by reference number 10 for crockery baskets 12 on a transport device 14 through the Continuous dishwashing device 10 from a feed station 16 to a removal station 18 (from left to in FIG. 1 right).
- the actual continuous dishwasher 10 is structured into a pre-cleaning stage 20, commonly known as Pre-clearing is called, a subsequent Cleaning zone 22, an adjoining this Rinse aid zone 24 and one between the rinse aid zone 24 and the Removal station 18 located drying zone 26.
- the device 10 rests on legs 28 and is fully encased to prevent heat and fluid loss minimize. Through this casing with a wall 30 also the noise generated during intensive washing and washing dishes is created, effectively shielded.
- the wall 30 of the device 10 is preferably through corrosion-resistant metal sheets run like them generally in the prior art for Continuous dishwashing device can be used.
- the individual zones 20, 22, 24 and 26 of the device 10 are from each other through bulkheads 21, 23, 25, which are also preferably made of corrosion-resistant metal sheets exist, divided.
- the transport device 14 extends in the longitudinal direction through device 10 with a front wall 17 between the loading station 16 and the pre-clearing 20 is located and belongs to the casing of the device 10, just like the transverse bulkheads 21, 23 and 25 and like a rear one Wall 19, which is between the drying zone and the Removal station is located and also for sheathing the Device 10 includes passage openings 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35 for the passage of the transport device 14 and the of these transported crockery baskets 12.
- Each of the Passage openings 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 is with a curtain 36, 37, 38, 39, 40 provided that the passage of Dish racks 12 allowed, but at the same time Air exchange and thus the temperature and Moisture exchange between the individual zones 20, 22, 24 and 26 and out of the device 10 to the environment essentially prevents.
- the transport device 14 consists of a along the loading station 16 to the removal station 18 extending guide, the two laterally from each other spaced rails 50, 52 (Fig. 2).
- the rails 50, 52 support the crockery baskets 12 on their way through the Continuous dishwashing device 10 slidably.

- a rotation of the electric motor 66 and an associated one Rotation of the eccentric disc 60 in the clockwise direction causes an alternating forward and Backward movement of the crossbar 54 and with it the right and left push rod 44, 46.
- This the entire Swing frame 48 driving forward and backward movement is symbolically represented in FIG. 2 by the double arrow S.
- the speed of the forward and backward movement and thus the frequency of those carried out by the oscillating frame 48 Longitudinal vibration is determined by the speed of rotation Eccentric 60 affects, that is, the faster the control disc 60 rotates the higher the Vibration frequency of the vibrating frame 48.
- the right and left push rods 44, 46 of the Swing frame 48 are on their with respect to the swing frame 48 lateral outside with a plurality of drivers 70 provided for the crockery baskets 12. However, it is sufficient if only one of the two push rods 44, 46 with the carriers 70 is provided if the crockery baskets 12 slide with the rail guide described above, the Driver 70 in corresponding recesses of the respective Insert the crockery basket 12.
- Each driver 70 is about a transverse to the direction of vibration S. of the swing frame horizontally extending axis 72 pivotable mounted on the associated push rod 44, 46.
- everyone Driver 70 can in a first direction (in the example of the Figures 1 and 3 counterclockwise) up to a - not shown - pivot the stop so that the driver 70th occupies an upright position, as shown in FIG reference numeral 70 'is shown.
- each driver arm 70 can counter it into the upright position 70 ', compelling erection force, preferably gravity, at least swivel as far, that its top edge does not over the top edge of the associated guide 50, 52 protrudes.
- This position of Driver 70 is in Fig. 3 by the reference numeral 70 '' shown.
- each driver arm 70 is with a driving plate 74 provided in the erected State 70 'of a driver arm 70 is substantially vertical stands and with its top edge over the top edge of the associated guide 50, 52 protrudes and thus into one of several on the lateral sides of each crockery basket 12 engages recesses 76 provided on the underside thereof.
- the driver arm 70 gives way against the Erector clockwise and takes his in 3 with the reference symbol 70 ′′, so that it is under the section of the Dish rack 12 can move backwards until it is in the area of a next, further back Recess 76 gets where it under the effect of Erector again in the upright position 70 ' swings back.
- the driver plate 74 comes into contact with the front vertical surface 78 of the driver arm 70 assigned recess 76, whereupon the crockery basket again is transported a bit forward.
- This intermittent Forward movement of the crockery baskets 12 runs with the Frequency of the longitudinal vibration of the swing frame 48.
- everyone Forward push achieved transport distance of a crockery basket 12 depends on the radial distance with which the Control pin 58 from the axis of rotation 61 of the eccentric disc 60 is spaced.
- a crockery basket 12 is placed on the loading station 16 Transport device 14 placed, so it is in the Area of the feed station 16 located 70 in Direction of the passage opening 31 in the entry-side Wall 17 of the continuous dishwasher 10 transported. From the one in the crockery basket 12 Dish dripping and falling food residues are in one in the area of the feed station 16 under the Transport device 14 provided first trough 82 collected and transported in a known manner. If the seen in the direction of transport A leading edge of a Dish basket 12 immediately before the curtain 36 of the Arrives through passage 31, the crockery basket 12 from a detection device 84 and the Continuous dishwashing device 10 is put into operation.
- the detection device 84 can be, for example, from a Light barrier or another known sensor for non-contact detection; it is the same of course possible, known switch arrangements to be provided mechanically by an incoming basket be operated.
- the crockery basket is then in the pre-cleaning zone or Pre-clearance 20 transported where most of the food waste detached from the dishes and removed.
- Pre-clearing 20 is carried out by cleaning liquor Pre-clearing nozzles 86 from above and below towards the Crockery or cutlery items in the crockery basket directed.
- the temperature of the cleaning liquor is about 50 ° Celsius.
- Alkaline water is used in the pre-clearing 20, that is, cleaning liquor with a detergent is provided.
- the cleaning liquor and the rinsed off Leftovers arrive either directly or via an inclined one Sliding surface or second tub 88 in a cleaning tank 90, which has a volume of about 30 liters, for example.
- a cleaning tank 90 which has a volume of about 30 liters, for example.
- an easily removable, preferably drawer-like extendable sieve for the Leftovers are provided for quick emptying enables and is dimensioned as large as possible that a entire operating cycle without replacing the food waste sieve can be carried out.
- an overflow pipe 92 which has a predetermined liquid level especially in the area of the sieve and discharges overflowing liquid and one not shown Liquid drain supplies.
- the crockery baskets 12 in one subsequent cleaning zone 22 transported in one Intensive cleaning takes place.
- the Dish racks cleaning nozzles 94, 96 arranged from which Washing liquid with a temperature of around 60 ° Celsius emerges and on the objects to be cleaned in the Baskets of dishes are steered.
- the cleaning fleet is in the Rule water with an alkaline detergent is offset.
- the baskets and the ones in them expired crockery or cutlery items Cleaning liquor first gets into a third tub 98 and from there into a second cleaning tank 100, which has a Overflow line 102 with the first cleaning tank 90 in Connection is established.
- the second cleaning tank 100 also has a drain pipe 104 that is opened by a drain valve can be.
- the crockery basket 12 coming from the cleaning zone 22 occurs through the passage opening 33 provided with the curtain 38 into the rinse zone 24.
- they are in the crockery basket 12 existing crockery and / or cutlery items from above Rinse nozzles 106 sprayed with a rinse aid liquid.
- lower rinse aid nozzles 108 can also be used be provided with the crockery basket 12 from below Spray rinse aid liquid.
- the rinse is carried out in two steps. First of all, a circulation pump 116 continuous rinse aid liquid via circulation lines 118, 120 fed to the nozzles 106, 108. In a second to the The first subsequent stage is a fresh water supply 115 other nozzles (not shown) fresh water as Rinse aid supplied.
- the from the crockery basket 12 and dripping from the parts inside Rinse aid liquid is in a fourth tub 110 caught and passed into a rinse aid tank 112 from which some of the liquid is discharged via a drain pipe 114 while another part of the trapped Rinse aid by means of a circulation pump 116 again Nozzles 106, 108 is supplied.
- a circulation pump 116 From the circulation pump 116 leads a first circulation line 118 to the lower rinse nozzles 108 and a second circulation line 120 to the upper rinse nozzles 106.
- a lower circulation line 118 is a lower one Solenoid valve 122 provided and in the upper circulation line 120, an upper solenoid valve 124 is provided.
- the crockery basket coming from the rinse zone 24 passes through the passage opening 34 provided with the curtain 39 through into the drying zone 26, where the in the crockery basket 12th located crockery and / or cutlery items using a air stream generated by a fan 126 are dried, before passing through the curtain 40 Passage opening 35 in the outlet-side wall 19 of the Continuous dishwashing device 10 emerge from this and be transported to the removal station 18, where they are then can be removed by hand.
- the high fresh water requirement that occurs in the rinse aid zone (approx. 3 liters per basket) is used in the invention
- Continuous dishwashing device reduced in that the Solenoid valves 122, 124 in the circulation lines 118, 120 always then be cordoned off and the exit of the Rinse aid liquid from the rinse aid nozzles 106, 108 prevent when the swing frame 48 against the Transport direction A moved backwards, that is when the Dish racks 12 stop. Only when the Forward movement of the swing frame 48 in the transport direction A starts again, the solenoid valves 122, 124 open and give the flow of rinse aid and fresh water to the Rinse nozzles 106, 108 free until the Direction of movement of the swing frame 48 is reversed again.
- the detection of the direction of movement of the oscillating frame 48 takes place by means of a sensor device 128, the one Contactless working sensor 130, which in is provided in close proximity to the eccentric 60 and with markings 132 in the area of the circumference of the sensor disk 60 cooperates, which clearly defines the Allow the direction of movement of the swing frame 48.
- This can for example be a metal surface when the sensor 130 is a magnetic sensor, or a reflective one Surface when the sensor 130 is an optical sensor.
- other known ones are also known Sensor arrangements can be used.
- the above control of the solenoid valves 122, 124 The sensor device 128 can be supplemented by a further, not shown in detail, but to the expert principally common motion detection in addition to the movement direction detection described above Provides information about whether the transport drive 64 is running and drives the swing frame 48 or whether the Transport drive 64 and the swing frame 48 are. Also in the latter case, that is when the crockery baskets 12 because of the standing swing frame 48 are also the Solenoid valves 122, 124 blocked and the flow of the Rinse aid liquid from the upper and lower rinse aid nozzles 106, 108 is prevented.
- the further sensor arrangement described above for Motion detection of the transport drive 64 allows the Switch off transport drive 60 temporarily, which too can occur periodically so that the swing frame 48th for example after moving backwards and before starting the next forward movement in transport direction A for one predetermined time is stopped to continue thereafter.
- Fig. 4 shows schematically the structure of the controller for the Flow of rinse aid, with a signal from sensor 130 to a control device 134 via a signal line 136 is directed.
- Control signals are sent from the control device via control lines 138, 140 to the solenoid valves 122 and 124 passed so that the opening and closing of the Solenoid valves 122, 124 by means of the control device 134 in Dependence of the signals supplied by the sensor 130 takes place.
- each zone 20, 22, 24 and 26 of the Continuous dishwashing device 10 can also be sequential when the amount of crockery is low. For this is detected by the when an incoming crockery basket input-side detection device 84 a first Memory location 144 'in a shown in Figure 5 electronic storage device 142 with a sequential space arrangement 144 set to "1" and this storage space is used by a control device 146 after a time interval, for example with everyone Rotation of the eccentric disk 60 to a storage location passed on.
- the number of storage spaces corresponds to this example the number of 44 or on a push rod 46 located driver 70, which within the Continuous dishwashing device 10, that is between the entrance-side entry opening 31 and the exit-side Outlet opening 35 are provided.
- the system interprets this as a forced feed of crockery baskets 12, so that once all memory locations are set to the value "1" are, which immediately all zones 20, 22, 24, 26 of Continuous dishwashing device 10 are activated.
- the continuous dishwashing device 10 according to the invention is not to that shown in this description example Embodiment limited, but the essence of the invention, the operating state-dependent shutdown of certain energy and fresh water consuming facilities of the Continuous dishwashing device 10, in particular that Interrupting the flow of rinse aid, can also with other continuous dishwashing devices realize. It is also possible that a implementing inventive idea Continuous dishwashing device additional treatment zones such as a pre-rinse zone between the Has cleaning zone 22 and rinse zone 24. Frequently are continuous dishwashers 10 in modular design compiled so that even individual modules, such as for example the drying zone, not necessarily in one Continuous dishwashing device according to the invention available have to be.
