Definitions

  • the invention relates to a dispensing device, in particular for a beer barrel, according to the preamble of claim 1 or 13.
  • Out DE 195 40 542 A1 is a beer keg with an integrated tap known, which is located in the outer surface of the beer keg in the lower part of the barrel.
  • the dispensing device consists essentially of a hollow cylindrical outer part and an axially displaceable in the outer part, also hollow cylindrical inner part, wherein the outer part protrudes through an opening in the lateral surface of the beer barrel in the beer barrel and is connected to the peripheral edges of the hole fixed to the wall of the beer barrel to seal the hole.
  • the hollow cylindrical outer part of the dispensing device has in its lateral surface an opening through which beer can enter into the interior of the outer part.
  • the likewise hollow cylindrical inner part has at its outer end in the region of the lateral surface below an outlet opening, can be tapped through the beer, the inner end face of the hollow cylindrical inner part is free to allow entry of beer from the hollow cylindrical outer part in the inner part.
  • the inner part When storing and transporting this beer keg, the inner part is pushed completely into the outer part.
  • the dispensing device closes on its outer side almost flush with the lateral surface of the beer barrel, so that damage to the dispensing device during transport is largely excluded.
  • the opening in the lateral surface of the hollow cylindrical outer part is covered in this state by the lateral surface of the hollow cylindrical inner part, so that no beer can escape from the barrel.
  • the hollow cylindrical inner part is then pulled axially by means of an integrally formed on the outer end side of the inner part of the handle until the two openings in the lateral surfaces of the inner part and the outer part are superimposed in cover.
  • the beer flows through the opening in the outer surface of the outer part, then through the open inner end face of the inner part and is then discharged through the outlet opening in the lateral surface of the inner part.
  • the DE 1 772 877 U shows a further form of a dispensing device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a dispensing device of the type described above, in which the outlet opening for the beer is protected from contamination during transport or storage.
  • the object is - starting from the known dispensing device according to the preamble of claim 1 - solved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
  • the invention includes the technical teaching to form the dispensing device substantially in three parts by a valve is used in the hollow cylindrical inner part, which is movable relative to the inner part and the outlet opening in the inner part depending on the valve position for liquid release releases or closes.
  • the valve is designed as a rotary valve, wherein the axis of rotation of the rotary valve is preferably substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the inner part and provided for manual operation of the rotary valve, a pivotable cock.
  • the cock or the inner part it is advantageous to design the cock or the inner part so that it fits into the outer contour of the inner part, so that the inner part is inserted into the outer part can be without dismantling the tap.
  • the rotary valve consists of a hollow cylindrical sleeve, which is arranged axially rotatably in the inner part.
  • Both the inner part and the sleeve have in this case at its outer end in the lateral surface in each case an opening, wherein the openings in the sleeve and inner part by rotation of the sleeve about its longitudinal axis more or less in Dekkung can be brought to control the flow of liquid ,
  • the liquid flow is maximum when the two openings in the sleeve and inner part are completely superimposed in coverage, whereas no liquid is discharged when the two openings in the sleeve and inner part do not overlap.
  • the inner part is not rotated, so that the outlet opening located in the lateral surface of the inner part always points downwards, whereby the handling during the journal is substantially facilitated.
  • the valve has a piston which is arranged axially displaceably in the inner part for controlling the liquid delivery.
  • the piston is in this case formed as a hollow cylindrical sleeve having in its lateral surface an opening which can be brought by axial displacement of the piston in registration with the outlet opening in the inner part, whereupon liquid is discharged.
  • the liquid thus occurs in this variant by the hollow cylindrical outer part in the hollow cylindrical inner part and then in the piston, and then discharged through the opening in the lateral surface of the piston and the outlet opening in the lateral surface of the inner part to become.
  • the piston is in this case pre-loaded in the hollow cylindrical inner part by a spring, which ensures that the opening in the lateral surface of the piston is not in contact with the outlet opening in the hollow cylindrical inner part without external influences, so that no liquid is dispensed in the rest position of the piston , For the delivery of liquid, the piston must therefore be displaced axially against the spring force until the two openings are in coincidence.
  • the inner part may have laterally projecting grips at its outer end.
  • This also allows one-handed operation of the piston.
  • the user grips, for example, with the index and middle fingers behind the grips and presses the piston with his thumb axially into the hollow cylindrical inner part, until the two openings in the piston and inner part overlie each other and accordingly liquid is discharged.
  • To provide a hollow channel in a downwardly projecting handle, through which the liquid is discharged is particularly advantageous.
  • the dispensing device is constructed in two parts only with a hollow cylindrical outer part and a hollow cylindrical inner part, wherein the hollow cylindrical inner part can be rotated about its longitudinal axis to bring corresponding openings in the lateral surfaces of the inner part and outer part more or less to cover and to control the liquid flow.
  • the openings in the outer part and inner part in this case each have a special shape to allow for twisting a sensitive dosing of the liquid flow.
  • at least one of the two openings in the outer and inner parts has one in the direction of the other Opening decreasing width in order to achieve a uniform increase in the liquid flow when opening, since the liquid flow depends on the size of the overlapping opening surfaces.
  • the openings may be formed, for example, triangular, with the tips of the triangles are each facing the other opening.
  • At least one seal can be arranged between the inner part and the outer part. It is advantageous if the at least one seal is formed in the region of the flow opening of the outer part.
  • a respective sealing ring may be arranged around the inner part before and / or behind the respective flow opening. This prevents liquid from entering the gap between the inner part and the outer part and passing through the flow opening to the valve, in particular when the sealing rings are fixed in an annular groove in the outer part in front of and behind the flow opening of the outer part.
  • the seal is formed as a sleeve surrounding the flow opening in the wall of the outer part, which has a sealing bead along the outer periphery of the flow opening in the gap between the inner and the outer part.
  • the sealing bead in the direction the interior of the drum is designed as a sealing surface, wherein advantageously the opening for the flow in the outer tube is formed as a slot in which the sealing bead is injected.
  • the sealing material has the actual flow opening through the outer part through. It makes sense that the areal extent is slightly more than the clear Next of the flow opening of the inner part. This ensures that even with partial or incipient overlap of the respective flow openings a seal against the intermediate gap between the inner and the outer part is ensured.
  • the seal consists of elastic, sprayable material. It may be particularly favorable that the seal for the flow opening in the outer part is formed integrally with the sealing seal between Zapfer and barrel, wherein the sealing seal is molded onto the outer part.
  • means are provided for releasably locking the inner part in the operating position, i. in the position in which the flow openings of the inner and the outer part are substantially aligned.
  • the limiting means may be formed as a means for releasably setting. It is advantageous if a latching recess is formed on the inner part, in which a spring arranged on the outer latching lug detachably engages.
  • the locking lug is formed on a resilient element which is integrally formed on the outer part.
  • the resilient member may be urged under pressure of the outer part enclosing the rubber seal in the operating position, so that the spring force originates both from the material from which the resilient element is created, as well as from the flexibility of the sealing material.
  • the dispensing device according to the invention is not limited to use in beer kegs, but can also be used with other liquid containers. It is only crucial that the dispensing device is pre-assembled in the wall of the liquid container, so that a liquid removal is possible without previous installation work.
  • outer part and inner part do not necessarily have to be cylindrical.
  • these components can also have a rectangular cross-section or be triangular, whereby rotation of the inner part in the outer part is also prevented.
  • the dispensing device shown in Fig. 1a and 1b is integrated into the wall 1 of a 5-liter beer keg and thus allows without cumbersome installation work an immediate spigot of beer, which is especially important in this almost exclusively for private use barrel size.
  • a circular opening with a diameter of 2 cm is provided in the wall 1 of the beer barrel in the lower region 3 cm above the Fdorfteils, wherein the wall 1 is curved in the region of the peripheral edges of the hole inwards to form a trough for to form the protruding parts of the dispensing device and to prevent their damage during transport or storage.
  • a hollow cylindrical outer part 2 made of plastic is pressed, which protrudes with a length of about 5 cm in the beer barrel and at its inner end has a free end face so that beer from the barrel interior in the outer part 2 can occur.
  • a sealing element 3 is arranged, which prevents leakage of beer through the annular gap between the outer part 2 and wall 1 and is connected to the outer part 2 by a tongue and groove combination.
  • the sealing element 3 tapers conically to a Slide into the opening to allow.
  • the outer part 2 in this case has a continuous hollow channel 4 with a over the entire length of the outer part 2 constant cylindrical cross-section, so that the hollow channel 4 forms a sliding bushing.
  • the dispensing device has an inner part 5 with a cylindrical outer cross section, which forms a transition fit with the hollow channel 4 in the outer part 2 and can be moved axially in the outer part 2 with a corresponding force.
  • the inner part 5 - as shown in Fig. 1b - completely pushed into the outer part 2, so that the dispensing device almost flush with the wall 1 of the beer keg, thereby largely preventing damage to the dispensing device during transport or storage becomes.
  • an axially extending spring 6 is integrally formed on the lateral surface of the inner part 5, which engages in a likewise axially extending groove 7 in the inner surface of the outer part 2 and thereby prevent rotation of the inner part 5 in the outer part 2 ,
  • the tongue and groove combination prevents complete removal of the inner part 5 from the Au- sulfurteil 2, since the groove 7 in the outer part 2 does not extend to the front end of the outer part 2, so that the spring 6 in a certain axial Position of the inner part 5 abuts the end of the groove 7 and prevents further extraction of the inner part 5. This is important because in a full extraction of the inner part 5 from the outer part 2 in the filled state of the beer barrel, the beer would pass unhindered through the hollow channel 4 from the beer keg.
  • the inner part 5 has on its lateral surface annular circumferential locking projections 6 ', which engage in the illustrated in Fig. 1a tapping position of the inner part 5 in corresponding recesses in the inner surface of Au- colteils 2.
  • these locking projections prevent inadvertent insertion of the inner part 5 during the tapping process.
  • the user feels when pulling the inner part 5, the engagement of the locking projections, whereby the achievement of the dispensing position is signaled.
  • the inner part 5 has a continuous hollow channel 8, which opens at the inner end of the inner part 5 in the end face of the inner part 5 and at the outer end of the inner part 5 in a vertically extending cylindrical bore into which a rotary valve 9 is inserted, via a cock 10 can be turned.
  • the tap 10 is rotated parallel to the inner part 5 to the outside, whereupon beer from the barrel interior in the hollow channel 4 of the outer part 2 and then enters the hollow channel 8 in the inner part 5, finally, by a located in the rotary valve 9 hollow channel to be delivered.
  • the cock 10 can be completely folded against the inner part 5, so that the inner part 5 can be pushed together with the folded-cock 10 in the outer part 2. It is therefore not necessary to install the tap first before the tap, since it forms an integral part of the dispensing device.
  • tapping is done here in a conventional manner by turning the tap 10 and not - as in the well-known beer keg described above with an integrated Tapping device - by a relatively unnatural sliding movement.
  • Another advantage of the invention is to be seen in the fact that the rotating from the inner part 5 (in the outflow direction) downwardly rotating rotary valve 9 disappears in the transport position shown in Fig. 1b in a recess 11 in the outer part 2, wherein the outlet opening of the rotary valve 9 of the wall of the outer part 2 is sealed, whereby contamination of the outlet opening during transport or storage is prevented.
  • annular handle 12 is integrally formed on the outer end face of the inner part 5, in which the user can engage with the index finger.
  • Fig. 1c shows an enlarged view of the nozzle 10, from which it can be seen that on the lateral surface of the tap 10, a circumferential latching projection 13 is arranged, which engages in corresponding recesses in the inner part 5 and the nozzle 10 thereby fixed axially.
  • Fig. 1d shows a further embodiment of a dispensing device according to the invention, which largely coincides with the dispensing device described above and shown in Figs. 1a to 1c.
  • a hinged handle 14 is provided, which is integrally formed on the outer end face of the inner part 5.
  • To pull out the inner part 5 engages the user first behind the handle 14 and folds it down to then insert the index finger into the handle opening.
  • the lower arms 15 of the handle 14 when folded down are pressed inwardly against the Au .teil 2 and thereby extract the inner part 5 already a piece.
  • the outer part 2 is closed at its barrel-side end. The beer flows through the opening 8 'in the hollow channel 4 of the outer part 2 and from there into the channel 8 of the inner part. 5
  • Fig. 2 shows a variant of a dispensing device, which - like the variants already described above - is pre-assembled in the wall 1 of a beer barrel.
  • the dispensing device on an outer part 2, which has already been described in detail above, so that reference is made in this regard to the description of the preceding figures.
  • a substantially hollow cylindrical inner part 16 is arranged, which is axially displaceable between a transport position and a tapping position, wherein the dispensing device in the transport position with the wall 1 of the beer keg almost flush, thereby damaging the dispensing device during transport or storage of the Beer barrel is largely prevented.
  • the control of the beer flow takes place here by a piston 17, which is arranged axially displaceably in a hollow channel in the inner part 16.
  • a spring is formed, which engages in a corresponding groove in the inner surface of the inner part 16. On the one hand, this prevents a rotation of the piston 17 in the inner part 16. On the other hand, in this way the axial movement of the piston 17 in the Inner part 16 set.
  • the piston 17 is biased by a coil spring 18 which presses the piston 17 axially outwardly into the rest position shown in Fig.
  • the pushing in of the piston 17 into the inner part 16 is facilitated here by gripping pieces 19a, 19b, the user grasping with his index finger behind the gripping piece 19a and with the middle finger behind the gripping piece 19b and pushing the piston 17 with the thumb into the inner part 16.
  • the arrangement shown thus advantageously allows one-handed operation, without endangering the stability of the beer keg, which is particularly important in a largely emptied beer keg.
  • the integrally formed on the underside of the inner part handle 19b serves in addition to the support of the middle finger also for dispensing the beer and has for this purpose a hollow channel 20.
  • the integrally formed on the top of the inner part 16 handle 19a also serves to seal the dispensing device.
  • the handle 19a has an axially continuous opening, through which in the transport position of the nozzle on the outer part 2 frontally molded Pier 21 protrudes.
  • the web 21 is heat-welded with a sealing plate made of plastic 22, so that pulling out the inner part 16 from the Transport Victoriaung always leads to a tearing of the sealing plate 22, which is clearly visible on the front of the nozzle.
  • FIG. 4 a shows a variant of a break seal which enables a manufacturer-side sealing of the dispensing device and breaks when the beer barrel is opened for the first time.
  • a web with a rounded thicker head 25 is formed on the outer end face of the outer part 2.

  • FIG. 6 b shows an alternative embodiment of the inner part 16, in which spring arms 26 are arranged in the circumferential direction and press the piston 17 axially outward.
  • Fig. 7a shows another dispensing device, in which the beer delivery is also controlled by a rotational movement, although the axis of rotation is not - as in the embodiment of FIG. 1a - perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, but parallel to the longitudinal axis of the outer part 2.
  • a hollow cylindrical inner part 32 is arranged axially displaceable, wherein on the lateral surface of the inner part 32, an axially extending spring 6 is formed, which engages in a likewise axially extending groove 7 in the inner surface of the outer part 2.
