Definitions

  • the invention relates to a window or door wing made of two glass panes without outer frame with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • WO 98/02 632 From WO 98/02 632 are frameless insulating glass window or door leaves with two over a spacer frame interconnected glass panes known, one of which Disc - preferably the one facing an interior - the other disc - preferably the on the outside - overhanging on all sides so that its edge is the latter as well as the edge of an opening on the wall on all sides. Seen from the interior an unframed window and glass surface.
  • the spacer frame which is usually provided with an air drying agent, jumps at least opposite the edge of the larger glass pane, but mostly opposite the edges of both panes of glass back inward so that between its outer Lateral surface and the two parallel circumferential, protruding inner surfaces a groove or groove is formed in the glass panes.
  • the solution is at least one leg of the circumferential fitting receiving profile with the the smaller glass pane overhanging the inner edge area of the larger glass pane bonded.
  • the fitting receiving profile further comprises one of the groove-separated cavity, in another embodiment, this overlaps with a Metal reinforcement fitting fitting profile the edge of the smaller glass pane and lies on the outer main surface close to the edge with a sealing lip.
  • Edge protection for the larger glass pane is not, however, in this construction intended. Their load is only via the adhesive connection that is subjected to thrust transferred to the fitting profile. This is all the more important than With this construction, the larger glass pane is also significantly thicker than the smaller one Disc is.
  • the printed glass pane Due to the necessary baking of the enamel layer, however, the printed glass pane is also self-tempered (so-called single-pane safety glass).
  • the usage Tempered glass panes can be an advantage on the inside of the wing, but it is not absolutely necessary on the outside.
  • the adhesive also invisible due to the said enamel layer, so that the visual impression is more appealing than with an uncovered adhesive layer.
  • DE 29 43 090 A1 describes a casement profile for insulating glass windows and doors, that to improve thermal insulation with a soft elastic thermal insulation profile is connected, which rests on the main surface of the outer window pane and is bordered in the closed position between this and the frame profile.
  • the invention has for its object a window or door at the beginning mentioned type to further develop that the appearance of the frameless Wing is retained, however, the load transfer to the fitting profile and the Thermal insulation effect can be improved.
  • the fitting mounting profile has a glass pane inside glued leg away from the side of a picture on which the edge of the smaller Glass pane outside overlapping thermal insulation profile is attached. This prevents the direct contact between the glass pane facing the exterior and the wall-proof cut-out frame and thus provides improved thermal insulation for sure.
  • Another direct advantage of this arrangement is that the thermal insulation profile also the gap between the fitting mounting profile filled with an adhesive and cover the smaller pane of glass, so that you don't have any separate ones Take measures for optical lamination and UV protection of this area got to.
  • the fitting receiving profile connects to the web of the fitting receiving profile glued to the larger glass pane one when connecting the fitting profile with the glass pane the end face covering as edge protection and the outer circumference of the of the wing provided with the thermal insulation profile.
  • the part of the fitting profile that includes the mount and the one used Thermal insulation profile dimensioned and arranged so that they, on the main surface of the Window or door wing projected, covered by the protrusion of the larger glass pane are.
  • the bend significantly contributes to the lower edge of the window or door leaf to transfer the load to the fitting profile. It also protects the outer glass edge against damage and forms a stop during assembly the insertion depth of the individual sections of the fitting profile.
  • corner connectors are used as stiffening elements in a cavity in the fitting receiving profile used.
  • the load transfer from the glass panes to the fitting support profile continues improved if between the smaller glass pane and the fitting profile a block profile is fitted, which is preferably form-fitting with the fitting receiving profile connected is.
  • a particularly tight embedding of the fitting profile in the window or door sash and thus a good load transfer of the sash weight via the adhesive connection the wing fittings can be reached if the outer surface of the spacer frame with the protruding edge areas of the mutually facing inner sides circumscribes a channel that is open to the periphery of the two glass panes, in which is covered on three sides by the adhesive mounting profile.
  • the larger pane of glass has the smaller one on all sides protrudes, but there could also be a protrusion on at least one or two sides are sufficient (e.g. on the underside and on the hinge side) if the frame is adjusted accordingly to ensure all-round tightness.
  • the receptacle for the thermal insulation profile is preferably designed as an insertion groove, and the thermal insulation profile has a removable baseboard. This is an exchange the thermal insulation profile after a possible damage very simplified.
  • the thermal insulation profile covers an edge strip with the appropriate training the area of the outer glass pane, that of the width of the underlying one Adhesive layer corresponds.
  • the thermal insulation profile is under prestress with a lip on the glass pane and has openings for ventilation and drainage of a cavity located below the lip.
  • the surface of the leg to be glued is another advantageous embodiment provided with spacers for setting a predetermined thickness of the adhesive layer, preferably as plastic strips, adhesive tapes or individual PU-based adhesive dots and prevent direct contact of the metal with the glass.
  • the fitting profile as a composite of a metal rail surrounding the leg and a plastic profile strand comprising the insertion groove for the thermal insulation profile is made.
  • the metal rail and the plastic profile strand are preferred positively connected with each other, but you can also coextrude the two components and if necessary additionally secure their cohesion by means of positive locking elements.
  • the outer outline of the wing is from the outer edge of the larger glass sheet certainly.
  • the protrusion of the larger glass pane is in the centimeter range over the smaller a margin with regard to the constructive design of the Insert groove, the thermal insulation profile and the interaction of these components with the wall-mounted cutting frame.
  • the door or described here Window sash after fitting with the appropriate fittings (hinges, latches etc.) easily in a provided with the adapted cut-out or frame Window or door opening can be used to close them firmly or with the option of opening.
  • the single figure shows a cross section through a in a simplified representation Embodiment of the window or door leaf.
  • the window or door leaf 1 comprises an outer glass pane 2 and an inner, larger glass pane 3, which projects beyond the outer glass pane 2 at the edge by a few centimeters.
  • the inner side, ie the side oriented towards the smaller glass pane 2 when using such sashes as rotating or tilting sashes, this forms an abutment edge which, in the closed state, can abut against a wall-fixed glare or cut-out frame.
  • the larger glass pane therefore forms the pane of the insulating glass which faces the room, while it forms the outer pane in the case of windows opening outwards.
  • such sashes could also be used as immovable windows.
  • the two glass panes 2 and 3 are in the manner of an insulating glass pane via a spacer frame 4 connected to each other at a fixed distance.
  • the spacer frame 4 preferably has one, as is customary with insulating glass panes rectangular cross section. It can be used with a desiccant, for example a molecular sieve, filled and to the air gap 5 with Diffusion openings must be provided. It is on both sides with the inner surfaces of the glass panes glued using an adhesive layer 6 (butyl adhesive). Its outer surface jumps opposite the outer edges of both panes of glass so that they meet the bottom of a circumferential, open to the circumference of the glass panes groove or groove, which can accommodate other components.
  • At least the glass sheet 3 is along the edge of its inside in the usual way frame-like with an opaque enamel layer 7, which also the butyl adhesive layer 6 between the spacer frame 4 and the inside of the Glass pane 3 covered.
  • the enamel layer 7 prevents both the view of the arrangements behind it as well as the passage of UV rays that last long could damage the adhesive bond.
  • the fitting receiving profile 8 ' also has an elongated leg 10, which is in the installed position extends parallel to the inside of the inner glass pane 3. It limits one side the fitting receiving groove 9, together with one serving as a positive locking element cantilever approach 11.
  • the leg 10 On the back is the leg 10 over its entire height from the spacer frame 4 permanently bonded to the edge of the glass pane 3 with the latter. You can use polysulfide glue for this, but also other suitable glue systems.
  • On the intermediate surface becomes a bead from the actual PU adhesive before assembly 13 applied, which is in the installed state in the space between the Leg 10, the glass sheet 3 and the two tapes distributed. Latter also prevent direct contact between aluminum and glass.
  • the bend 14 and the strip 15 also form an edge protection for the Face of the glass pane 3. This is in addition to the load transfer function mentioned on the Lower edge of the window or door wing also their entire, sensitive to impact Edge protected by a metal edge.
  • the side of the leg 10 facing away from the bend 14 forms a stop surface with which the frameless window or door leaf 1 against here only indicated blind or cut-out frame 16 starts and which the closed Position of the wing defined.
  • a thin seal 17 on the stop surface which in a groove formed in the leg 10 opposite the bend 14 is inserted, closes the formed between the window or door leaf 1 and the cutting frame 16 Cavity - in which the fittings not shown here are to be installed the interior (to the right of window or door leaf 1 in the illustration).
  • the bottom of the fitting receiving groove 9 is through a bottom wall 18 of the fitting receiving profile 8 'formed, which closes an overlying cavity 19'.
  • the mentioned in the fitting receiving groove 9 fitting parts can be arranged on this Bottom wall 18 with suitable screws -z.
  • a side wall 20 of the fitting receiving groove 9 opposite the leg 9 connects at right angles to the bottom wall 18 or the cavity 19 '. she is still covered by the protrusion of the larger glass sheet 3, but protrudes beyond the outline of the smaller glass pane 2.
  • an elastic hollow baseboard 22 of a thermal insulation profile 23 the Shape is matched to the cross-section of the insertion groove, releasably attached.
  • a block profile 41 is also fitted. About that now the load of the smaller glass pane is also transferred directly to the fitting mounting profile. In addition, this is the space for the adhesive 28 'with which the Fitting mounting profile 8 'with the glass panes and the spacer frame 4 is glued, completed to the outside.
