Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for feeding and compacting Cotton web for a subsequent winding device with at least three in a row and about arranged in a row calender rolls, which in their working position a drive device are coupled.
- the calender rolls each form with the adjacent rolls a nip, over which the cotton web snake-like around the calender rolls is led around.
- the calender rolls serve for pressing or Compaction of the wad of cotton in order to unwind the subsequently formed To be able to carry out wadding without mutual felting of the wadding.
- the cotton swath should at least be before forming the wrap be compressed twice.
- the object of the invention is therefore to propose a device which enables easy and problem-free insertion of a cotton web between calender rolls, which are arranged in a row.
- the object of the invention is achieved in that at least one of the calender rolls by means of a device from the row or from their working position is relocatable.
- the term "row” is not limited to an arrangement, the one behind the other arranged calender rolls are located in a horizontal plane. Much more the term “row” can also apply to such designs, whereby in the working position the axes of rotation of the calender rolls arranged one behind the other are not in one Level. This would be e.g. an arrangement as shown in Fig. 1 of EP-B1-141 258 is shown. Although all the calender rolls are outside of their actual ones Working position, they are still arranged in a row. The The term “out of line” can be defined in such a way that the calender roll is then out of line when it comes from the transport area of the cotton wool web was moved out.
- the term "row” could include everything which is within an envelope wrapped around the calender rolls can if they are in working position. This essentially includes Swiveling a calender roll out of a row, transferring it to a position, in which the cotton swab easily intervenes between three successive ones by hand Calendering can be done.
- the term “Movable out of line” involve moving the calender roll around at least the size of their diameter is from their working position.
- the calender roll be shifted out of the row two adjacent calender rolls are assigned in their working position, of which at least one calender roll within the row from its working position is displaceably arranged.
- At least four calender rolls in a row are arranged, wherein - seen in the transport direction of the cotton wool - each the first and fourth calender roll are mounted stationary and rotatable, the third calender roll from their working position within the row and the second calender roll is shiftable out of line from their working position.
- the calender rolls are preferably provided with drive elements which are in the working position of the calender rolls are in engagement with each other. It is proposed that at least one of the calender rolls is connected to a drive unit is, the drive elements can be designed as gears in the working position of the calender rollers interlock. This setup makes it easy Power transmission made possible by pivoting the adjustable from the row Calender roller coupled, or can be solved.
- the adjustable calender rolls are preferably each pivotably mounted Lever rotatably mounted.
- the actuator can be a cylinder that e.g. can be controlled via a control device.
- the device for moving the calender roll arranged or formed from their working position within the row is so that this calender roll automatically, e.g. about their gravity, about you area specified by a restricting member from the subsequent calender roll moved away as soon as their drive coupling with the upstream from the Row movable calender roll is released.
- a restriction member e.g. a stop may be provided which the lever hits after a predetermined pivoting movement.
- the lever could also be designed with two arms, with the calender roll on one arm is stored and the other arm cooperates with a stop to the To limit pivoting.
- FIG. 1 and 2 show a winding device 10 in a purely schematic representation Generation of a wadding roll 12.

- the cotton wool 14 is wound on a sleeve-like core H, which is shown in the Embodiment rotatably mounted about a fixed axis A during the winding process is.
- This core H is driven by a circulating, endless belt 18, by the one between two pulleys R1 and R2 horizontally to the left extending loop 20 is formed in which the core H during the winding process is included.
- the sleeve-like H and thus the wadding 12 formed on this is through the belt 18 driven clockwise, as indicated by the arrow F. is.
- the loop 20 shown with solid lines is in phase shown at the beginning of the winding process.
- This the sleeve-like core H and thus the Forming wadding loop loop 20 of the belt 18 is increasing Cotton wadding larger, with the belt 18 throughout the winding process is tensioned by a tensioning device 22, which in the present case comprises a tension pulley R4 with an associated linear guide.
- the belt 18 is over further pulleys R3 and R5 and along a linear guide adjustable tensioner pulley R4 so that it is in a Plane is stretched, which runs in the vertical direction and thus perpendicular to itself generally horizontally extending loop 20.
- a linear guide adjustable tensioner pulley R4 so that it is in a Plane is stretched, which runs in the vertical direction and thus perpendicular to itself generally horizontally extending loop 20.
- this via the tension roller R4 for example can be stretched in a plane that is generally horizontal Direction and thus parallel to the loop 20.
- the lower deflection roller R1 is thus over the pivot lever 24 about the axis B. pivotable downwards that with their transfer into the ejection position, not shown and the tightening of the belt 18 in relation to the horizontal Rolling surface that slopes downward is generated for the finished cotton wadding 12 to be ejected becomes. About the rolling surface generated in this way, the wadding 12 is in one Area can be transferred below the calender 16.
- the finished wadding can be placed there For example, be placed in a winding holder that a transport device can be assigned.
- the deflection rollers R1, R2, R3 and R5 and the tensioning roller R4 essentially have the same diameter as the respective sleeve-like core H.
- the axes of the Rollers and the sleeve-like core H inserted into the loop 20 are in relation to one another parallel.
- the belt 18 by the Deflection pulley R5 driven.
- the tensioning roller R4 assumes an upper end position, from which it is transferred to a lower end position during the winding process, in which, however, is offset slightly upwards compared to the deflection roller R3.
- This deflection roller offset downwards and to the right compared to the tensioning pulley R4 R3 is expediently arranged so that the belt 18 independently of the tensioning roller R4 from their position always surrounds them with a wrap angle of 180 °.
