Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a conveyor system according to the preamble of Claim 1.
  • a conveyor system of this type is from CH-A-382 768 (and the corresponding US-A-3,032,341) known in which the transport organs positively guided along a closed conveyor line by means of funding and moved along sections with a gradient by gravity become. There is a along this closed conveyor line Loading station for loading the transport elements with printed products and a delivery point at which the transport organs arranged Return printed products. The unloaded transport organs are returned to the loading point.
  • the conveyor line in Connection to the loading station is divided into two strands, one of which everyone leads to a delivery point.
  • the funding bodies alternate fed to one of the two strands.
  • the delivery points each Half of that at the loading point by the transport organs supplied printed products supplied.
  • Each delivery point and this one assigned processing station can thus with a correspondingly smaller Speed are operated.
  • the present invention is based on the object Conveying system of the type mentioned to create the more versatile Possible uses as the conveyor system mentioned above according to the state of the art.
  • both empty and Objects transporting items individually or in groups are removed from the conveyor line or are inserted into it.
  • the number and order of the along the Conveyor line moving transport organs with the needs influence simple means. This is especially important if between transport organs that transport objects, empty Transport organs are present that are not wanted or if the Transport organs transport identical or different types of objects, which are not all intended for the same destination.
  • FIG. 1 and 2 is a section of a first conveyor section 1 (hereinafter also known as the trunk conveyor), along which there is only a schematic move the illustrated transport members 2 in the direction of arrow A.
  • the Transport elements 2 are separated from one another, i.e. not linked together and therefore independent of each other.
  • Exemplary embodiments have the transport members 2 controllable grippers 3, which are attached to carriages or sleds 4. Hold the grippers 3 Items 5 in the embodiments shown Printed matter is, in particular newspapers, magazines, brochures and the like, as well as supplements to such printed matter. At the Embodiment according to Figures 1 and 2, these objects 5 transported hanging.
  • a branch point 6 with a switch 7 is located on the trunk conveyor line 1 arranged.
  • the latter has a pivotable switch piece 8, which means an actuator 9 can be switched between two positions.
  • a second conveyor section 10 which also follows Branch conveyor line is called away.
  • a switchable retaining member 11 Seen in conveying direction A before Junction 6 is a switchable retaining member 11 is arranged, which in the Path of movement in the direction of arrow A to junction 6 incoming transport members 2 can be retracted to stop the latter.
  • the switch piece 8 assumes a position in which it is in the Main conveyor line 1 is.
  • the transport members 2 thus move along this trunk conveyor line.
  • the transport organs 2 to Branch conveyor line 10 are directed, the retaining member 11 is actuated and the incoming transport organs 2 are stopped.
  • the Switch piece 8 is free of transport elements 2, it is by means of Actuator 9 switched into the other position shown in Fig. 2.
  • the retaining member 11 is then switched off and the Transport organs 2 released the trip.
  • Those labeled 2 ' Transport organs now move in the direction of arrow B along the Branch conveyor line 10.
  • FIGS. 3 and 4 correspond to FIGS. 1 and 2 Representation of an embodiment shown in the first conveyor line 1 (trunk conveyor line) an insertion point 12 is arranged. At this Insertion point 12 is also a switch 13 with a pivotable Switch piece 14 provided. To switch the switch piece 14 is used an actuator 15.
  • a second conveyor line 16 leads to the insertion point 12, on the a controllable retaining member 17 is arranged, which is in the conveying direction C seen the second conveyor section 16 is the insertion point 12 upstream.
  • the switch piece 14 is in the Trunk conveyor section 1.
  • the transport members 2 thus move in the direction of arrow A along the trunk conveyor line 1.
  • Shall now transport organs 2 are introduced into the first conveyor section 1, so it will Retaining member 11 actuated and thus in the path of movement along the first conveyor section 1 fed transport members 2 retracted, whereby these transport members 2 are prevented from moving on.
  • the switch piece 14 by means of the actuator 15 in the other Position switched (Fig. 4).
  • the supplied via the feed path 16 Transportoragne 2 "now get through the switch piece 14 in the Trunk conveyor route 1 and along this in the direction of arrow A moved on, as can be seen from Fig. 4.
  • the of the transport members 2 "along the feed path 16 of the Insertion point 12 supplied objects 5 can be of the same type such as those arriving at the insertion point 12 via the trunk conveyor line 1 Objects 5 or other types. In the latter case it is thus possible with the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, Items 5 of different types in any, changeable Mix relationship with each other.
