Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for Supplying printed matter to at least two, intended for processing printed matter Processing stations according to the preamble of the claim 1.
  • processing stations primarily one machine unit each to understand the supply line upstream of it supplied printed matter to a finished product united, or a supplement in each of the Inserts printed matter, or the printed matter stacks, packages, straps and / or straps or addressed or cut to size. Further is below Processing station also to understand a conveyor station of the printed matter are to be fed. This one more Processing can either take place continuously, i.e. continuous done, or in batches. Accordingly such processing stations must be connected upstream Feed lines to be designed to the printed products continuously or discontinuously To be able to feed processing station.
  • Performance of such a processing station Performance of an upstream source of printed matter, be it a printing press, an unwind station or the like or the following Sponsor and / or there is a desire to Parts of the production of a certain further processing and other parts of the same production of another for further processing. In both cases therefore divide up the production.
  • a suitable device is for example in the EP-A-0 272 398 and in the corresponding US patent No. 4,866,910.
  • Endlessly driven Single conveyor in overhead design with at a distance Controllable grippers arranged from each other are, each with a printed product its leading edge seen in the conveying direction, are arranged so that they are the processing stations cross upstream feed lines.

Your strength lies in the possibility a large number of continuously occurring cache successive printed matter to be able to. For individual processing single or a small number of accruing It is not or poorly suited for printed products.
  • the printed products are each held by a bracket transported. Because the parentheses are independent of each other , they can be controlled individually using controlled switches each of the desired feed routes can be fed. The printed products are thus by means of Clamps transported to the processing station and released there by opening the clip. The Delivery of the printed matter from the brackets to a different sponsor is not necessary. There the feed sections are designed as buffer sections, will fluctuations in the fit and the indication of the Printed matter caught on each feed line.
