    caractérisé en ce que
    les pinces de transport (22) sont montées de manière à pouvoir se déplacer d'avant en arrière sur les éléments de transport (12) au moins approximativement dans la surface de transport (36) et dans une direction de déplacement (30) s'étendant transversalement à la bande périphérique (16) entre deux positions (50, 50') et en ce qu'un dispositif de commande (53) est prévu pour déplacer les pinces de transport (22) à l'extrémité de la portion de transfert (18) d'une position dans l'autre (50, 50').
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que chacune des pinces de transport (22) est connectée à un élément suiveur (38) et en ce que le dispositif de commande (53) présente au moins dans une portion de la bande périphérique (16) un élément de guidage (40) qui coopère avec l'élément suiveur (38) de la pince de transport concernée pour déplacer les pinces de transport (22) d'une position dans l'autre (50, 50').
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de guidage (40) s'étend par portion parallèlement à la bande périphérique (16) et, dans les portions de déplacement (48) de la bande périphérique (16), modifie constamment la distance (A) entre l'élément de guidage (40) et la bande périphérique (16).
  4. Dispositif selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que, vu dans la direction de transport (F) en amont d'au moins une portion de déplacement (48), est disposé un organe de commutation commandé (54) du dispositif de commande (53), lequel est prévu pour amener en prise l'élément suiveur (38) de pinces de transport spécifiques (22) avec l'élément de guidage (40), respectivement pour les déconnecter l'un de l'autre.
  5. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que le convoyeur d'amenée est réalisé sous forme de convoyeur à bande.
  6. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que dans une portion de transfert (56) de la bande périphérique (16), celle-ci s'étend parallèlement et latéralement à un convoyeur d'évacuation (58) réalisé de préférence sous forme de convoyeur à bande, et en ce que le dispositif de commande (53) est prévu pour déplacer dans la portion de transfert (56) vers le convoyeur d'évacuation (58) les pinces de transport (22) qui doivent céder les objets (46) qu'elles retiennent au convoyeur d'évacuation (58), et pour laisser les pinces de transport (22) qui doivent transporter les objets (46) qu'elles retiennent à travers la portion de transfert (56) dans leur position (50) plus éloignée du convoyeur d'évacuation (58), ou bien pour les déplacer dans cette position (50).
  7. Dispositif selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce qu'un élément de maintien vers le bas (60), de préférence réalisé sous forme de bande de maintien vers le bas est associé au convoyeur d'évacuation (58) réalisé sous forme de convoyeur à bande, dans une région latérale du convoyeur d'évacuation (58) opposée à la bande périphérique (16), cet élément de maintien vers le bas (60) étant prévu, en aval du déplacement des pinces de transport en question (22), pour presser les objets (46) cédés par celles-ci contre le convoyeur d'évacuation (58).
  8. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que, dans une portion de ré-imbrication (100) de la bande périphérique (16), de l'autre côté des objets (46) par rapport à la bande périphérique (16), s'étend une autre bande périphérique (102) avec des pinces (104) commandables individuellement, entraínées dans la direction de transport (F), le dispositif de commande (53) est prévu pour déplacer dans une région initiale de la portion de ré-imbrication (100) les pinces de transport (22) dont les objets (46) doivent être ré-imbriqués, vers l'autre bande périphérique (102) et les objets concernés (46) dans les pinces associées (104), la distance entre la bande périphérique (16) et l'autre bande périphérique (102) augmente en aval de la région initiale de telle sorte que les objets (46) repris par les pinces (104) parviennent hors de contact avec les objets (46) maintenus par les pinces de transport (22), et ensuite l'autre bande périphérique (102) s'étend dans une direction transversale à la surface de transport (36) hors de celle-ci puis à nouveau vers la bande périphérique (16), afin de transférer, dans une région finale de la portion de ré-imbrication (100), les objets (46) maintenus par les pinces (104) aux mêmes pinces de transport (22) qui les ont amenés à la portion de ré-imbrication (100).
  9. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce que dans une portion d'éjection (106), la bande en mouvement (16) s'étend autour d'un élément de déviation (20') dont l'axe (20) est disposé parallèlement à la surface de transport (36), dans une région initiale de la portion d'éjection (106) placée en amont de l'élément de déviation (20'), la bande périphérique (16) s'étend parallèlement et latéralement à un convoyeur d'éjection (108) réalisé de préférence sous la forme d'un convoyeur à bande, le dispositif de commande (53) est prévu pour déplacer, dans la région initiale vers le convoyeur d'éjection (108), les pinces de transport (22) qui doivent céder les objets (46) qu'elles retiennent au convoyeur d'éjection (108), et pour laisser les pinces de transport (22) qui doivent transporter les objets (46) qu'elles retiennent à travers la portion d'éjection (106) dans leur position (50) plus éloignée du convoyeur d'éjection (108), ou bien pour les déplacer dans cette position (50).
  10. Dispositif selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de déviation (20'), pour la formation d'un vide entre les objets (46) devant être transportés davantage au moyen des pinces de transport (22) et les objets (46) à éjecter, et le convoyeur d'éjection (108) peuvent être déplacés mutuellement dans une direction à l'écart l'un de l'autre.
  11. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce que dans une portion d'éjection (106), la bande périphérique (16) s'étend dans la surface de transport (36) autour d'un élément de déviation (20') dont l'axe (20) est disposé au moins approximativement à angle droit par rapport à la surface de transport (36), dans une région initiale de la portion d'éjection (106) placée en amont de l'élément de déviation (20'), la bande périphérique (16) s'étend parallèlement et latéralement à un convoyeur d'éjection (108) réalisé de préférence sous forme de convoyeur à bande, le dispositif de commande (53) est prévu pour déplacer, dans la région initiale vers le convoyeur d'éjection (108), les pinces de transport (22) qui doivent céder les objets (46) qu'elles retiennent au convoyeur d'éjection (108), et pour laisser les pinces de transport (22) qui doivent transporter les objets (46) qu'elles retiennent à travers la portion d'éjection (106) dans leur position (50) plus éloignée du convoyeur d'éjection (108), ou bien pour les déplacer dans cette position (50).
