Definitions

  • the invention relates to a ball racket, in particular Tennis rackets with a club head and a handle part, wherein the frame spars from the handle over the covered area of the head part, in which the open area between the acute-angled opening into the handle frame frame beams entirely forms the clothing level and the in Bat longitudinal axis running longest middle string between the head and the origin of the tip adjacent to the handle Angle of opening into the handle frame frame is stretched.
  • a racket of the type mentioned is, for example, the US-PS Re 33 372 can be seen.
  • Modern tennis rackets are to achieve this effect by ever lower total weights of what not least due to modern materials without appreciable deterioration the stiffness values became possible.
  • the invention now aims to a ball racquet of the beginning mentioned type particularly easy and gentle on the wrist form and at the same time for less good players improved ball control through an enlarged "sweetspot" sure.
  • the invention Ball bats of the type mentioned in essence in that the bat has a covered weight of less than 260 g and a free-free natural frequency of greater than 200 Hz and that the ratio of the width of covered area to the length of the longest string of the covered Area is less than 0.6. While so far tennis rackets, at which covered the frame spars from the handle over the Area of the head part extended and acute angle in the Handle part led, usually formed with a heart were, are also conventional so-called Monoschafteller usually relatively wide in relation to the length of the formed covered area.
  • the geometry of the racquet is chosen that the ratio of the longest string of the string to the overall length of the racket is greater than 0.6, preferably greater than 0.65.
  • the ball bat according to the invention advantageously characterized that the natural frequencies perpendicular to the clothing plane measured from the natural frequencies in the clothing plane measured by at least 20%, preferably 25%, of each other differ.
  • the measured perpendicular to the clothing plane Natural frequency corresponds to the free-free natural vibration frequency, which according to the invention amount to at least 200 Hz should. Due to the construction according to the invention and the waiver on a centerpiece, a higher rigidity is achieved so that it becomes possible in accordance with the stringing level to achieve higher values of the order of 300 Hz, whereby the ball control is further improved.
  • a preferred string pattern is provided. While in the US-PS Re 33 372 here in the central area a denser covering and in peripheral areas of the clothing surface Covering selected with correspondingly larger string pitches was, the weight of the covered racket, as it can corresponds to a preferred development, thereby reducing in that the strings extending in the longitudinal direction of the ball racket starting from the middle, lying in the club longitudinal axis, String on both sides diverging to the head. On this way, the so-called "sweet spot" can not be just in its length but also increase in width, thereby the playing characteristics while reducing weight be further improved.
  • the training hiebei be made so that the divergence of adjacent strings in the increases incrementally to the racquet edge.
  • the ball bat according to the invention with the required values for the weight, the natural vibration frequency and the increased rigidity for the fabric so made be that the frame spars made of carbon fibers and / or metals such as e.g. Aluminum or titanium exist.
  • the bat according to the invention and the inventive Bat geometry is shown schematically in the one shown in the drawing Embodiment explained in more detail.
  • a frame spar 1 of a tennis racket 2 can be seen, which starting from a handle part 3 to the Beschreibsoval bent and including an acute angle ⁇ again to Handle part is returned.
  • the handle part 3 is adjacent to omitted any heart, so here is a special long longest string 4 can be realized, which starting from the Reason the groove defined by the acute angle ⁇ , to the Club head 5 runs.
  • the ratio of the width of the covered Area b to the length of the covered area a which is the ratio each of the longest strings in the direction of the width of the Covering surface or in the direction of the length of the clothing surface is equal, is less than 0.6 hiebei chosen, so that a slender, elongated relative to the unchanged overall length Covering area, rackets results.
  • the longest Length a of the longest string 4 without changing the total length c of the ball-beater 2 the ratio is the longest string a of the covering to the total length of the Bat c prefers more than 0.6, and preferably more than 0.65.
  • the frame spars are made of plastic fibers and / or metals, such as e.g. Aluminum or titanium, formed.
