Definitions
- the present invention relates to a central block of a pilot-operated seat and / or piston valve system which has both a preferably standardized connection interface and a pilot valve interface for receiving a pilot valve, and which has a pump (P), a tank (T ), a first working line (A), a second working line (B), a first control line x and a second control line y, and in which four valve receptacles for receiving one valve unit each (C, C 2 , C 3 , C 4 ) are arranged.
- Valve systems with pilot operated seat and / or piston valves and with such a central block are known for example from DE-OS 36 04 410, GB 2,212,220 A or EP 0 473 030 A1.
- a hydraulic control block with a pilot valve, a four-way valve, which is pilot-controlled by the pilot valve, a pressure reducer, a check valve and a throttle check valve is known.
- Each of the aforementioned elements is housed in an independent cast iron housing block and is connected to the other housing blocks only via corresponding hydraulic lines.
- a proportional four-way valve with pilot operated seat valves which, like the four way valve of DE-OS 36 04 410, is housed in a housing block cast especially for this purpose from iron.
- This housing block referred to below as the central block, for receiving the valve units is interspersed with hydraulic lines which hydraulically connect the four valve units arranged in the central block to one another.
- Production-optimized seat or combined piston-seat valves are used as valve units, which can be inserted into corresponding valve receptacles provided in the central block. These valves are then fixed with a cover screwed into the central block.
- valve units of this type are referred to as so-called cartridge (cartridge technology).
- the underside of the control block (DE 36 04 410) or the underside of the central block (EP 0 473 030) is designed as a connection interface and has a drilling pattern standardized according to DIN 24340, so that the control block or the central block can be connected to almost any new and existing one Hydraulic system can be connected.
- valves housed in the central block can be connected to one another in various ways.
- the valves are connected to each other according to the laws of logic by "and", "or” or “not and” links.
- valve systems for example in plastic injection molding machines or in industrial robots, it can happen that after some time another application is used, so that a modified hydraulic circuit must be used in the plastic injection molding machine or in the industrial robot. In this case, the entire central block must be replaced and replaced with a new one, so that very high material and assembly costs arise.
- the present invention is based on the object of creating a central block of a pilot-operated seat and / or piston valve system which can be used universally for any number of hydraulic circuits and whose hydraulic circuit can be changed in a simple manner.
- a central block designed according to this technical teaching has the advantage that only a single middle block needs to be produced, on which the valve block with the associated valve units (cartridges) suitable for the respective application is attached.
- Valve units of this type are designed as production-optimized screw-in valves (cartridge technology) which enable simple and quick installation. You can now use these valves further components, for example a check valve, an electromagnetic proportional control or the like, and / or further valves are attached.
- pilot valve into one or more control components that are attached to the respective valve and pilot it directly.
- the pilot valve is replaced by the control components and the control lines are no longer arranged in the central block, but are led externally directly from the control component to the valve.
- a central block designed according to this technical teaching has the advantage that almost any hydraulic circuit can be implemented with a single central block and only a few valve blocks. Consequently, the manufacturing and storage costs of the central block system according to the invention are significantly lower, since the universally usable middle and valve blocks can be manufactured in larger quantities and because the one-off production that was previously required for the specific hydraulic circuit is no longer required.
- Another advantage of the device according to the invention is that the central block according to the invention, composed of two valve blocks and a central block, can be made smaller than the known central blocks. This makes the central block lighter and cheaper because it requires less material. In addition, the smaller and lighter central block is easier to assemble.
- valve blocks with the desired valve unit (s) can be screwed onto the central block. If the requirements for the hydraulic circuit change, a new hydraulic circuit can be created by exchanging one or both valve blocks without a new central block having to be cast or assembled, which leads to a significant reduction in costs.
- valve units C 1 , C 2 , C 3 , C 4 are connected to one another via the hydraulic lines in such a way that reversing the direction of flow in the hydraulic lines also flows through the valve units C u C 2 , C 3 , C 4 in the opposite direction become.
- This achieves a universal structure of the middle block and the valve blocks, so that one and the same middle block can be used for many different hydraulic applications through the use of intelligent circuits.
- the same central block can be used for different applications and different hydraulic circuits without having to be converted. This further reduces inventory and assembly costs. This also significantly reduces the downtime of the affected machine.
- valve units can be activated diagonally.
- two valve units can be hydraulically linked to one another.
- the central block is divided into two different sections.
- the pump (P) and the tank line (T) are arranged in a rear section of the central block, while the working lines (A) and (B) are arranged in a front section of the central block.
- the pump (P), the tank (T) and / or the working lines (A, B) are arranged partly vertically and partly parallel to the connection side.
- This vertical or parallel arrangement of the hydraulic lines has the advantage that the lines no longer or not all need to be cast into the middle block by means of a core, but that it is now possible to retrofit the lines, for example by Drill to incorporate.
- Another advantage is that additional channels can be added later by drilling if necessary.
- Another advantage is that due to the short distances and the mostly straight line routing there is practically no pressure loss and almost no hysteresis.
- the middle block mainly used as a fluid distributor is constructed according to the invention in such a way that it has a connection side, a left, a right valve side and a pilot valve side.
- a pump line (P) and a tank line (T) lead from the connection side designed as a connection interface to each of the two valve sides designed as valve block interfaces, and the working line A leads from the connection interface to the left valve side, while the working line B leads to the right valve side.
- the middle block designed according to the invention is combined with two valve blocks suitable for the respective application.
- All valve blocks have an interface that is compatible with the valve block interface of the middle block.
- the two valve block interfaces of the middle block have identical drilling patterns. This has the advantage that, depending on the application, the valve blocks can be attached to both the left and right side of the valve. As a result, the number of valve blocks required is kept low, which leads to a further reduction in costs.
- valve block interfaces have punctually symmetrical drilling patterns. This ensures that the valve blocks can be attached to the same valve side again after rotating through 180 ° about their central axis, as a result of which the number of valve blocks required can be further reduced.
- valve block Fastening devices are provided with which further valves or other components can be attached to the valve block. This is advantageous, for example, if, in addition to the seat valve, a check valve, a displacement transducer and / or a second valve is also to be attached.
- valve block is designed as a two-way flow controller, while the other valve block has a press safety control.
- An injection system for a plastics machine is only created by combining the two valve blocks with the center block.
- the connecting lines leading to the tank (T) and / or pump line (P) are arranged within the valve block in such a way that they open into the central block interface outside the valve level, while the others lead to the Working lines lead the connecting lines and the connecting lines connecting the valves are arranged within the valve level.
- the connecting lines similar to the middle block, are located in two different levels or sections. The working lines are created within the valve level, so that on the one hand short distances are created and on the other hand little or sometimes no curvature is required, so that these connecting lines are easy to produce.
- valve block of a pilot-operated seat and / or piston valve having two or three way valves is proposed according to the invention, in which exactly one tank line and one pump line is provided in the valve block, the tank line entering the first valve receptacle and the pump line opens into the second valve receptacle.
- valve receptacles are connected to one another via connecting lines either directly or via a working line A or B. are connected.
- the valves are flowed from the side or from below, so that all possible hydraulic circuits can be implemented with just a few valve blocks.
- the connecting lines can be connected to the desired working line via supplementary lines, the supplementary lines being able to be subsequently attached to the valve block.
- valve blocks By means of these valve blocks according to the invention, it is possible to set up any hydraulic circuits with only a few valve blocks, which can be manufactured inexpensively in large numbers. This can either be done by assembling a single valve block with suitable valve units (cartridges) to form a 2 or 3 way valve, or by mounting two valve blocks with corresponding valve units (cartridges) on a center block by a 3, 4 or 5 way valve build up.
- so-called blind pockets are provided in the middle block and in the valve blocks, i. H. the hydraulic lines are closed on one side. Only when it is certain which line (P, T, A, B, x, y) is required for the respective circuit, can this be opened, for example, by drilling.

- Fig. 13 shows a directional control valve with two valve units
- FIG. 14 shows the circuit diagram of the directional valve according to FIG. 13.
- FIG. 0 shows a schematic diagram of a hydraulic control block with a known hydraulic circuit with four valve units C-, C 2 , C 3 , C 4 .
- the four valve units C 1, C 2 , C 3 , C 4 are arranged in two valve blocks which are fastened to a central block, as will be described in more detail below.
- the hydraulic lines shown schematically in this schematic diagram are implemented in the middle block and in the valve blocks and create hydraulic connections between the individual valves.
- the middle block 2 comprises a connection side 4, a left valve side 6, a pilot valve side 8 and a right valve side 10. All sides of the middle block 2 are provided with interfaces so that the middle block 2 can be connected to other components.
- a connection interface 12 is formed on the connection side 4 and a pilot valve interface 13 is formed on the pilot valve side 12, both of which have a drilling pattern standardized according to DIN 24 340.
- the center block 2 shown here is designed for a hydraulic system with a nominal size of 16 mm and can be connected to corresponding hydraulic systems without any problems through its standardized connection interface 12.
- the center block 2 is designed for hydraulic systems with a nominal width of 6 mm, 10 mm, 25 mm, 32 mm or 50 mm and has the connection interface 12 corresponding to the respective nominal width in accordance with DIN 24 340.
- the pilot valve interface 13 is the same for all embodiments and corresponds to the drilling pattern of DIN 24340 for NG 06.
- the middle block 2 is used as a kind of fluid distributor, because with its pump line P, its tank line T, its two working lines A and B and the control lines x and y (not shown in FIG. 1), this becomes a thing of the past fluid coming or flowing to the corresponding lines of the hydraulic system is distributed to the respective valves.
- the center block 2 additionally has control lines 14 through which a pilot valve attached to the pilot valve side 8 can control the other valves.
- the lines within the middle block 2 are located in two different sections or levels: a front section 16 and a rear section 20.
- the working lines A and B run in the front section 16, the working line A being the connection interface 12 connects to a valve block interface 22 of the left valve side 6, while the working line B connects the connection interface 12 to the valve block interface 24 of the right valve side 10.
- the longitudinal axes of the respective line do not run in one plane, but slightly spaced apart.
- the horizontal segments 25 of the hydraulic line P, T, A and B shown in dashed lines, are slightly offset from the vertical segments P, T, A and B, but are located within the same section 16 and 20, respectively.
- the control lines 14 extend from the connection side 4 to the pilot valve side 8 and connect the right and left valve sides 6, 10 to the connection side 4 and the pilot valve side 8, but the control lines 14 do not run in one of the sections 16 or 20, they run irregularly within the middle block 2.
- both the tank T and the pump line P run. Both lines connect the connection side 4 to each of the two valve sides 6, 10 and, like the working lines A, B, run partially vertically and partly parallel to the connection side 4. Although the tank line T and the pump line P run substantially within the rear section 20, the tank line T must be directed around the point at which it meets the pump line P so that it comes out of the rear section at this point 20 leads out a little.
- valve block interface 22, 24 are identical, so that a valve block (not shown in FIG. 1) can be attached either to the left 6 or to the right valve side 10.
- control lines 14 are not shown in FIG. 1 in order to make the illustration clearer.
- 3 and 4 show two exemplary embodiments of a valve system according to the invention, in which the middle block 2 used as a fluid distributor is of identical design.
- a valve block 70 is attached to both the right valve side 10 and the left valve side 6, the valves 30 of which are designed as seat valves.
- the valve blocks 70 are connected to a connecting line 72 such that the valves 30 are connected in series.
- Electromagnetic proportional controls 31 are attached to the valves 30 in order to be able to open and close in a controlled manner.
- the valve 30 together with the proportional control 31 is available as a prefabricated valve unit (cartridge). This cartridge then only needs to be inserted into the corresponding valve receptacle 34.
- a control block provided with such a directional control valve does not require a pilot valve and is mainly used in machine devices with hanging loads that have to be very tight. Such machine devices are, for example, cranes, presses or fire ladders.
- machine devices are, for example, cranes, presses or fire ladders.
- two valve blocks 50 are attached to the middle block 2, the valves 33 of which have a parallel connection.
- a pilot valve 32 is connected to the pilot valve side 8 of the middle block 2 and controls the individual valves 33 mounted in the valve blocks 50 via the control lines 14.
- valves 33 On the back of the valves 33 there are hydrostatically controlled check valves 35 so that each valve unit (cartridge) fitted in the valve receptacles 34, 36 consists of the valve 33 and the check valve 35 and in the basic function a 2/2 way valve of a logic element forms.
- a directional control valve according to FIG. 4 is also used in machines with suspended loads, but is not absolutely leak-tight, so that it is mainly used to control rotary drives (hydrostatic motor) and translatory drives (hydrostatic cylinders), each with a holding function.
- FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 are merely exemplary. Rather, it is entirely possible to attach any valves and valve blocks in any combination to the middle block 2. This also includes the pilot valve 32. It is also possible to attach two different valve blocks to the middle block 2.
- FIGS. 5 to 12 show different valve blocks 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 1 10, 120, which are all compatible with the middle block 2. All valve blocks 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 1 10, 120 have two valve receptacles 34, 36, into which a valve can be inserted. This technique is well known as a cartridge technique. The control lines x, y are not shown here in order to make the illustration clearer.
- valve seats 34, 36 are arranged axially parallel and are located in a valve plane 40 arranged perpendicular to the center block interface 38.
- the valve blocks 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 have at least one pump 42 'and one tank connection line 42, which have a valve space 44 formed by the valve 30, 33 and the valve receptacle 34, 36 with the tank (T) or pump line (P) connects.
- This pump and connection line 42, 42 ' is not located in the valve level 40, but leads from the valve level 40 to a level corresponding to the rear section 20.
- the valve level 40 corresponds to the front section 16.
- valve blocks 110 and 120 each have a pump line and a tank connection line 42, 42 ', which connects the valve tip to the tank (T) or pump line (P).
- valve block 40 shown in FIG. 5 has a parallel connection of the valve units, the working lines 52, 54 leading from the valve receptacle 34, 36 to the middle block interface 38 being located within the valve level 40.
- valve block 60 shown in FIG. 6 the valve units are connected in parallel.
- This valve block 60 corresponds to the valve block 50 shown in FIG. 5, but additionally has a connecting line 62 from the outlet of the valve holder 34 into the valve chamber 46 of the valve holder 36.
- valve block 70 shown in FIG. 7 corresponds to the valve block 60 shown in FIG. 6, except that the valve block 70 has no connection from the valve receptacle 34 to the working line A or B.
- the valve block 80 shown in FIG. 8 corresponds to the valve block 70 shown in FIG. 7, but with a mirror-inverted design of the connecting lines 82 and 84.
- valve units are connected in series as in the valve blocks 70 and 80, but the control in the valve block 90 takes place inversely in a valve unit.
- the outputs of the valve receptacles 34 and 36 are connected by a working line 92 without a connection to a working line A or B.
- the valve block 100 shown in FIG. 10 has two valve receptacles 34, 36 connected in parallel, which are connected to one another by a connecting line 102.
- valve block 110 shown in FIG. 1 1 corresponds to the valve block 70 shown in FIG. 7, but the pump and tank lines 42, 42 ′ lead to the tip of the valve and not to the valve chamber.
- valve block 120 shown in FIG. 12 corresponds to the valve block 100 shown in FIG. 10, but the pump / tank line 42 ′ leads to the tip of the valve and not to the valve chamber.
- All valve blocks 50 to 120 shown in FIGS. 5 to 12 can be connected to the valve block location 22, 24 of the middle block 2.
- the line that is not currently required is sealed in such a way that the functioning of the hydraulic directional control valve as a whole is not impaired and that no hydraulic oil leaks out of the corresponding connection. This sealing takes place, for example, with a plug, closure or the like, not shown.
- All valve blocks 50 to 120 are also with control lines (x, y) 14 equipped, as exemplified in Figures 2 and 4.
- the control lines are not shown in the other figures in order to make the figure clearer.
- any hydraulic circuit can be generated by combining the middle block 2 with one or two valve blocks 50 to 120 and suitable valve units installed in the valve receptacle 34, 36.
- the hydraulic directional control valve can be produced inexpensively in a modular design and there is the possibility of replacing the existing hydraulic circuit at any time with another hydraulic circuit by replacing individual valves and / or individual valve blocks with others.
- this control block comprises a valve block 70 according to FIG. 7, to which two valve units, each with a valve 30 and a check valve 35, are attached.
- the valve block 70 is attached to a connection plate 130, to which the hydraulic lines P, T, A, x and y are also connected.
- valve blocks 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120 can be used to create a small control block.
- the selection of the desired valve block depends only on the switching conditions required in the individual application, since all valve blocks according to one of FIGS. 5 to 12 are designed to be compatible with the connecting plate 130.
- the pump line 42 ′ leads to the second valve receptacle 36, while the tank line 42 is connected to the first valve receptacle 34.
- the embodiment shown in Figures 6 to 12 form the valve seats 34, 36 via connecting lines 52, 54, 62, 72, 84, 92, 102, 1 12, 122 are connected directly to one another.
- the valve receptacles 34, 36 are connected to one another via the working line A or B.
- supplementary lines are subsequently drilled into the valve block 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 1 10, 120, which the respective connection line 52, 54, 62, 72, 84, 92, 102, 1 12, 122 or connect the valve seat 34, 36 to the working line A or B.
- the hydraulic lines in the middle block and in the valve blocks are designed such that when the flow direction is reversed, the valves are also flowed through in reverse, so that in the case of existing blocks, a new hydraulic circuit can only be changed if the valves are switched for a new application.
- control lines z and z 2 are also provided in the central block in addition to the control lines x and y. The latter serve to hydraulically connect the valves to external devices.
- one or more hydraulic lines are formed as blind pockets in the middle block and in the valve blocks, ie the corresponding hydraulic line is not designed as a through line, but is closed on one side.
- the pump, tank, working and control lines are laid from the connection interface through the whole, but end shortly before each exit point, so that a thin wall remains that is strong enough to withstand the operating pressure.
- Control line 80 valve block front section 82 connection line rear section 84 connection line
- Valve 1 1 2 Electromagn.
