Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for packaging a material web roll with a packaging web a packaging web dispenser that is used to manufacture a Corpus packaging the packaging web with a pointed Angle of their transverse direction to the axial direction of the web roll and for the production of a final packaging the Packaging web with its transverse direction parallel to Axial direction with the formation of an axial protrusion issues.
- Such a device is known from GB 1 429 445.
- the roll of material with a plastic film wrapped around This is so flexible that you can buying wrinkles when manufacturing the packaging can take.
- the packaging line stays in one piece. After wrapping the web roll, the web roll becomes passed through an oven where the plastic wrap is shrunk.
- the shrinks Film also on the end faces so that they are covered are.
- US 3 393 492 A shows an end packaging device for a roll of material, in which a roll of material is placed laterally in a carrier bed, that from a variety of in the axial direction of the web roll juxtaposed idlers exists, each inclined alternately different are.
- the packing presses that are used to feed end covers are used with the help of a pressure drive move in the direction of the web roll. If the pressure drive on one end If you feel increased resistance, the propulsion will start stopped this end.
- This pressure surge can well cause the packaging to burst.
- US 3 828 523 A shows an automatic inner front cover holding device, where the diameter of a web roll is determined by a sensor that is located in the vicinity of folding bikes.
- a holding disc On the sledge that carries the folding bikes is a holding disc arranged for the inner front cover by a rest position based on double the amount is driven down to the axial center of the To reach the front of the web roll.
- the invention has for its object the burden the device and the roll of material during manufacture to reduce the packaging.
- This task is the beginning of a device mentioned type solved by a packing press device, one for each end of the web roll Movable packing press, at least one packing press independent of the other packing press is movable.
- the rolls of material to which the invention relates can be found, for example, in a paper mill. Then they are rolls of paper. Also in textile factories there are rolls with wound ones textile webs of comparable size.
- the axial length of the material web roll moves here in the range of 0.5 to 3.8 m or even beyond.
- the diameter is in the range of 0.5 to 2.5 m.
- the width of the packaging line is greater than 35 cm. Advantageously it is about 50 cm.
- a sensor device which is the axial position of the with a circumferential packaging material web roll determined.
- the peripheral packaging settles here together from the body packaging and the final packaging.
- the packing presses it's relatively uninteresting where the web of material roll at the start of the packaging process lay. It is only important that one can determine where the web of material lies, if the packing presses take action. For this is the corresponding one Sensor device provided the position of the web roll determined. The sensor device can then position this on the packing press drives pass on so that the packing presses accordingly can be moved.
- the sensor device is preferably parallel to the Axial direction of the web roll can be moved.
- the The sensor device is thus the axial end of the roll of material web followed up. Based on the position of the The axial position can then be detected by the sensor device determine the respective end face of the roll of material web.
- each packing press a separate sensor device is assigned, which together can be moved with the packing press.
- the packing press so it feels itself to the respective one Front of the web roll.
- the sensor device can be moved together with the packing press is saving time.
- the axial position of the Material web roll is then during the movement of the packing press immediately determined.
- the sensor device is preferably on the packaging press arranged. This eliminates the need for a separate drive for the sensor device. There is a predefined one mechanical coupling, so that transmission errors due to an incorrect determination of the assignment between Packing press and sensor device are not required.
- the sensor device advantageously has a first one Sensor on which the axial protrusion of the packaging web detected.
- the axial projection stands like the name says a little distance over the front. If the first sensor detects this supernatant, then has the Pack press also a small distance to Front of the web roll. You can use this for Take advantage of the brakes so that the packing presses actually to the end faces at a relatively high speed can be moved there. With the axial Surplus has no precise information yet about the axial position of the web roll. Man but knows that you are in the area of the front.
- the first sensor is preferably a light barrier educated. This allows the position of the axial Protrusion or the web roll without contact to capture. Under the term of the light barrier are supposed to even those sensors that fall with light reflection work.
- the sensor device advantageously has a second one Sensor on the system of the packing press to the front of the web roll. Once the packing press there must be any further Stop the movement of the packing press. Because of the axial The end of the final packaging can be planted Pack press to the front but through the first sensor no longer record.
- the second sensor is designed as a pressure or touch sensor. He can thus, for example, be designed as a limit switch, which is operated by the front. Also through the Pressure that the end face exerts on the pack press, you can get the necessary signal.
- the pressure sensor can also be accommodated in the drive train for the packing press become.
- One advantage is the axial overhang folding device acting parallel to the final packaging movable to the axial direction of the material web direction, which has a position indicator.
- the folding device folds the axial overhang of the final packaging on the front of the web roll. Because this fold-in is as close as possible to the front the folding device is usually done Move pressure-controlled in the axial direction as long as this is possible, i.e. as long as, for example, the impellers still turn with a reasonable effort or an axial movement at a feed pressure results. If the folding device is no longer can be moved further, then you have the information about the axial position of the respective end face of the Roll of material so that you can by a simple Position detector on the folding device the corresponding Can gain and evaluate information.
- the packaging of a roll of material web 2 is schematic shown in Figs. 1 to 3.
- the material web roll are relatively large structures with a axial length of up to 3.8 m or greater.
- the lower limit is in the range of 0.5 m.
- the diameter is in the range of 9.5 to 2.5 m.
- the packaging web dispenser is on the one hand on rails 5, 6 parallel to the axial direction the web of material can be moved. He is for others from a direction perpendicular to the rails 5, 6 rotatable in a direction in which he with the Rails 5, 6 enclose an acute angle, such as this is shown in Fig. 1.
- the packaging web 3 at an appropriate angle out. If now the packaging web 3 around the material web roll 2 is wound, for which the material web roll 2 on support rollers 7, 8, one of which is driven, is rotated, then there is a helical Body packaging 11, which is essentially about the entire axial length of the web roll 2 extends. Here, the packaging web 3 can also over the end faces 9, 10 of the material web roll 2 survive.
- the packaging web dispenser 4 the body packaging 11 has completed, i.e. the packaging line 3 helically from one end of the web roll to the other, it is on the left End of web roll 2. He will then how this is shown in Fig. 2, again at right angles the rails 5, 6 aligned.
- the packaging line 3 is then with the formation of an axial projection 12th wrapped around the web roll 2. It follows this results in a final packaging 13. Between the winding process, which is shown in Fig. 1, and the winding process, which is shown in Fig. 2, the packaging web 3 separated. After making the final packaging 13, the packaging line 3 is also severed.
- the packaging web dispenser 4 then moves to the other axial end of the web roll 2 and produces a similar end package 14 there also has an axial projection.
- each end the material web roll 2 has a packing press 15, 16 shown.
- Each packing press has a drive 17, 18 on, with the help of them on a rail 19, 20 in Is movable in the axial direction.
- the drive can too are formed by a piston-cylinder arrangement, between the respective packing press 15, 16 and one Not shown frame of the device 1 arranged is.
- the drives 17, 18 are independent of one another.
- Each folding device 21, 22 is in the axial direction movable. It instructs in a known manner Impeller 23 and an axle extension 24.
- the axis process 24 is on the scope of the web roll hung up.
- the impeller 23 rotates along the rotating web of material and folds the axial Overhang 12 of the final packaging 13 on the front side 10 of the material web roll 2. The same thing happens at the other end 9.
- each Folding device 21, 22 with a position indicator 25, 26 is provided, with the help of the axial position of the Folding device 21, 22 can be determined.
- Fig. 5 shows an enlarged view of the left pack press 15.
- the right packing press 16 is corresponding mirror-inverted.
- the explanations apply here accordingly.
- the packing press 15 has one Press plate 27 on which an outer end cover (not shown) is recorded. It is in use of external end caps with hot glue heatable. You can so long towards the front the web roll 2 are moved until the Outer end cover and thus the press plate 27 for Contact with the end face 10 of the material web roll 2 is coming. There the outer front cover is then on the End face, i.e. on the folded supernatant 12 of the Final packaging 13, glued on.
- the packing press 15 has a light barrier trained first sensor 28.
- the light barrier can also work with reflection. If the Light barrier of the first sensor 28 is interrupted, then there is something in the light beam 29 of the first Sensors 28. Acts correctly it is the axial projection 12 of the final packaging 13, which is still a small distance from the end face 10 of the material web roll 2, if it is folded onto this end face 10. Because of the rigidity and the internal stress of the as Packaging web 3 used wrapping paper is one such Spreading practically unavoidable.
- the first sensor 28 Since the first sensor 28 also a small distance in front of the press plate 27 is arranged, the first sensor determines 28 the fact that the packing press is the front 10 of the web roll 2 approximates. So you can Packing press 15 initially at a relatively high speed drive because "braking distance" still there is enough space for braking.
- a second sensor 30 is also provided, which as Push button sensor is formed, i.e. he points one out of the Press plate 27 protruding plunger, the system pressed onto the end face 10 of the material web roll 2 and then, for example, a limit switch (not shown) can trigger. So as soon as the second sensor 30 on the system of the press plate the end face 10 of the material web roll 2 is determined, listens to any movement on the web roll 2 on. You can now the two packing presses 15, 16 so control that they do so independently until the first sensor 28 approaches the Roll of material web 2 detected. Then both packing presses 15, 16 carefully continue until they each come to rest on the end face 9, 10, whereupon they are stopped. When reaching the axial Surplus is not guaranteed that both Packing presses 15, 16 are exactly the same distance from the Have end faces 9, 10. However, there is one sufficiently good approximation.
- the second sensor 30 instead of the second sensor 30 from the press plate 27 to let it protrude, you can also use it as a pressure sensor train, which responds when on the press plate through the end face 10 of the corresponding counter pressure is exercised. You can also use a pressure sensor in the Place the drive train. Alternatively, you can also use another sensor, for example an ammeter when using an electric motor. When the current that the electric motor draws suddenly rises sharply, this is also a sign of the installation of the packing press on the front side.
