Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a barrier post with a foot to be anchored in the ground and an erectable shaft which is connected to the foot via a joint, the shaft against the force of a return spring in a flat, pressed position on the ground or alternatively in one Floor recess is foldable.
  • Such a barrier post is known for example from DE 43 02 295 A1.
  • This well-known Barrier post has a return spring which is connected to a foot part of the barrier post via a cable is connected, the other end of the cable being connected to a pressure plate which presses on the end of a coil spring or on the cable pull on this end of the coil spring is pulled.
  • the cable pulls partially onto an arched one Surface at the foot of the barrier post so that the straight section of the cable shortens and thereby pulling the pressure plate onto the end of the coil spring and compressing it.
  • a restoring force is generated which is sufficient to move the horizontal one To erect the post automatically.
  • the spring can be preloaded Change the effective cable length.
  • a disadvantage of most known foldable bollards with a return spring is, however, that they often have a relatively complex spring mechanism, which often has several springs, Lever and, as in the case of the aforementioned publication, consist of cables.
  • the one from the above Known barrier post also requires a lock for the folded Post, because otherwise the force of the return spring returns the post to the upright position would snap back.
  • This post also has a lock for the vertical position otherwise the spring will move the post beyond the vertical position to the direction of the flip opposite direction would tend.
  • the present invention is based on the object Barrier posts with the features mentioned above to create the without additional aids is held securely in its two end positions, i.e. neither straightens up independently nor at Shocks or a gust of wind topples from the upright position, and one if possible has simple and inexpensive flip or reset mechanism.
  • the return spring is a strongly biased spring, which the erected shaft with a torque against a stop in the erected position holds, which corresponds to at least 20% of the torque, which is the weight of the shaft in the folded horizontal position is exercised in the opposite direction, and that the spring is arranged in this way is that the effective engagement lever of the spring during the flip movement of the shaft one goes to a maximum in the other end position.
  • “Strong preload” of the spring is understood to mean a preload that is at least 30% better still corresponds to 50% or more than 2/3 of the maximum spring tension used. Concrete this means that the erected post by the spring with sufficient tension is held in the upright position, since this tension is at least 20% of the Torque generated by the weight of the horizontal post in the opposite direction is exercised. Of course, this torque due to the weight of the post is eliminated in the erected state so that the post is held securely upright accordingly.
  • the force exerted by the spring changes when the post is folded over due to the Preload less than would be the case with a non-preloaded spring. Furthermore can be ensured by arranging the spring and the spring application points accordingly, that the effective spring engagement lever changes during folding. Depending on the design can be achieved by the spring preload alone or by this preload in Connection with the effective change in length of the spring engagement lever that that exerted by the spring.
  • the restoring moment on the horizontally folded post is smaller than that of its weight exerted torque so that the post is securely in the folded position remains without the need for additional aids such as locks or locking hooks. At the same time, however, the restoring force of the spring ensures that the post is compared to one those that are not equipped with a return spring can be lifted relatively easily.
  • the internal structure of the flip-over or reset mechanism is very simple, as a foot, a corresponding post shaft and the articulated connection of these two Parts only need a corresponding preloaded spring, it being understood that the shaft and the foot are connected to each other in such an articulated manner that a folding of the Post is only possible to one side, while folding to the other side and under the effect of the preloaded spring by appropriate stops on the post and / or on Foot is prevented.
  • the spring is arranged such that the effective spring action lever of the spring changes by no more than 50%.
  • this effective lever length has a zero crossing, which specifically means that the Lever changes its direction of action with respect to the pivot point and the direction of engagement of the spring, the torque works in the opposite direction.
  • the spring used is expediently a compression spring and particularly preferably one Gas Spring.
  • Gas pressure springs have a very large preload from the outset, so that over the available stroke of the gas pressure spring, the one exerted by the spring Power hardly changed.
  • the preload is gas pressure springs, i.e. the Tension when fully extended at more than 90% of the maximum tension, i.e. the force exerted by the gas pressure spring when fully retracted. Gas springs therefore require the desired preload condition from the outset.
  • spiral springs can also be arranged and preloaded accordingly, so that during the folding of the post, the total tension of the spring by a maximum of 70%, preferably changes by less than 50% or even less than 30%.
  • the bollard could also be equipped with a torsion or spiral spring are, the latter can also be relatively strongly biased, so that also such springs over a further bracing angle of 90 °, which by folding the Shaft from the erected to the folded position is applied to the spring Change in spring force is only relatively small.
  • Such spiral or torsion springs have moreover, the desirable property for some applications that the effective lever of the spring force during the pivoting of the shaft relative to the Foot part of the barrier post not changed.
  • a compression spring coil spring or gas pressure spring
  • the effective one Attack lever of the spring is formed by the height in this acute-angled triangle, measured from the pivot axis as one of the corner points of the triangle to the opposite Page or its extension.
  • the short base side is from the pivot axis from and relative to a horizontal plane containing the pivot axis in one Extends between 30 ° upwards from this plane and 60 ° downwards to this plane, and namely in the pivoting plane of the post and to the side to which the shaft of the post is thrown.
  • the spring does not necessarily have to be strong be biased. It may be sufficient to apply a small amount of pre-tension to the post in the holds upright position when no or only slight forces act on it.
  • One too strong increase in the restoring torque can be arranged by the appropriate arrangement Spring engagement points are prevented relative to the pivot axis, through which the effective Spring attack lever undergoes a more or less strong change.
  • the upward slope corresponds to the short base side of one embodiment in which the effective attack lever of the spring changes its direction of action, while the downward inclination of the Base side means that the effective spring lever is between the two values it holds for its takes both end positions, runs over a maximum.
  • the shaft of the barrier post is expediently designed as a tube. This doesn't just serve the material and weight savings with good stability, but also enables the Acquisition of essential parts within the shaft.
  • the invention includes a portion of the foot in the shaft.
  • the feather should preferably be completely received in the shaft or tube.
