Definitions
- the invention relates to a bottle washer according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a bottle washer is already in Known double-end construction with an elongated immersion bath, where the conveyor is between its immersion area and its surfacing area a loop with exactly horizontal Alignment forms (US-A-3 129 713).
- the bottom strand of the Loop runs between two lower redirections, while the upper strand from the second lower deflection to one third redirection, which is higher directly connects to the ascent area.
- the use of space this known bottle washer is defective because essentially only two strands of the conveyor in the immersion bath lie. Label discharges are completely missing. For a rational This is the cleaning of standard labeled reusable bottles Known bottle washer not suitable.
- the invention has for its object in a Double-end bottle washer of the type mentioned Kind while maintaining the principal advantages Noticeably reduce manufacturing costs.
- the loop guide of the conveyor in the invention Lye immersion bath results in a very high packing density overall small space requirement, so that normally with one single dip a complete detachment and removal all labels is possible.
- the manufacturing cost of one such bottle cleaning machine in double end design are only slightly above that of one Bottle cleaning machine in one-end construction with the same Power. So there are completely new applications for Bottle cleaning machines opened in double end construction.
- the bottle washer shown is for washing labeled reusable bottles 18 made of glass.
- she has an elongated, cuboid housing 19 Steel plates on the inside of which an endless conveyor 4 is arranged.
- This has two in the usual way parallel, endless roller chains on the two vertical longitudinal walls of the housing 19 by means of Double rails 20 are guided. Between the two Roller chains is a multitude of bottle baskets across Rotational direction articulated, each a number of Bottle cells 21 for receiving a row of bottles 18 having.
- the conveyor 4 is by a not shown Drive device in the direction of the arrow continuously driven.
- the housing 19 On the left end of the housing 19 is one conventional task 22 - indicated by an arrow - arranged, which are fed on a conveyor belt Dirty bottles 18 in rows in the bottle baskets 21 des upward past task 22 of conveyor 4 inserts. Accordingly, this is the task page 2 of the Bottle washer.
- a conventional delivery 23 - indicated by an arrow - arranged On the opposite Front of the housing 19 is a conventional delivery 23 - indicated by an arrow - arranged, which the clean bottles 18 from the bottle cells 21 of the bottom of conveyor 23 passing conveyor 4 leads out and places on a conveyor belt. This is accordingly the delivery side 3 of the Bottle washer. Following the levy 23 the empty conveyor 4 runs on the underside of the housing 19 back to task 22, where he again filled with bottles 18 becomes. Due to the short, compact design of the Bottle washer is the conveyor's empty run 4 relatively short, which is cheap for manufacturing costs.
- the conveyor 4 runs away from the task 22 in a loop upwards, the bottles 18 being passed through a pre-soak bath 24 be transported.
- approximately horizontally extending at the top of the housing 19 Transport area are, for example, two projections 25, 26 provided.
- the bottles 18 arrive with the Conveyor 4 into the only immersion bath filled with hot lye 1, which is described in more detail below.
- the conveyor 4 again roughly horizontally at the top of the housing 19 extending transport area for example, two post-injections 27, 28 posted.
- the conveyor 4 then runs in a loop below for dispensing 23, the bottles 18 through a Rinse bath 29 can be transported.
- the immersion bath 1 takes up about half the length of the Housing 19 and a large part of its height, wherein the length is about three times the height from the ground to the lye level.
- the conveyor 4 dives on end of the immersion bath 1 at an angle, passes through an arcuate deflection of more than 90 degrees is running horizontally close above the bottom of the immersion bath 1 then a loop labeled 5 in total and dives finally diagonally upwards at the discharge end of the Dip 1 again.
- the conveyor 4 then runs close to the lye level in a wavy direction
- Feed side 2 is near the feed end of the Dip bath 1 curved upwards by approx. 180 degrees deflected and then runs essentially horizontally in the uppermost area of the housing 19 towards the delivery side Third
- the loop 5 has a first lower deflection 6, in which the conveyor 4 from the horizontal by a little more than 180 degrees is deflected upwards in an arc.
- the conveyor 4 then runs in a straight line at a slight angle downwards, towards feed side 2 to a middle one Deflection 8 of the loop 5. This is close to upstream end of the immersion bath 1 just above the lower one horizontal transport area.
- the middle deflection 8 the conveyor 4 is curved upward by approximately 180 degrees diverted and then runs straight on at an angle up towards the delivery area 3 to about Liquor mirror.
- a smooth, arched transition follows downwards, which continuously into a second lower Redirection 7 initiates. This is on the same level as that first deflection 6 close to the bottom of the immersion bath 1 and leads upwards by approximately 180 degrees, whereupon the Conveyor 4 obliquely upwards to the lye level and further beyond that runs.
- the two lower deflections 6, 7 are located completely between the central plane M of the immersion bath 1 and its delivery end. Because of the resulting asymmetrical formation of loop 5 in connection with their horizontal or slightly opposite to the horizontal inclined "banana or cucumber shape" results in an extreme high packing density of the conveyor 4 inside the immersion bath 1. Its cross-section is thus optimally used and allows a sufficiently long treatment time to a complete detachment within the immersion bath 1 alone ensure the labels.
- the caustic areas of the immersion bath 1 are hatched.
- the lye is heated in the usual way Way through a heat exchanger 30.
- a first Unterlauge label discharge 9 with a hollow attached between the side walls of the housing 19 Suction box 31 provided in the area of the first lower deflection 6 of the loop 5 .
- This is in the center of the Deflection 6 and has a horizontal suction slot 11, which is aligned transversely to the path of movement of the conveyor 4.
- the suction slot 11 is through a conventional guide plate 32 limits which the bottles 18 have during their movement holds the conveyor 4 in its bottle cells 21.
- the width the suction slot 11 is slightly smaller than that Bottle diameter so that the bottles 18 in its Area of effect can not out of the cells 21.
- a second bottom lye label discharge 10 is in the area the second lower deflection 7 of the loop 5 is provided. It is almost identical in structure to the first Label discharge 9 and also has a suction box 33 and a suction slot 12.
- the two suction boxes 31, 33 are branched Pipeline 34 to the suction side of a circulation pump 13 connected, on the pressure side of which there is a label screen 14 in the form of a circumferential sieve belt.
- a label screen 14 in the form of a circumferential sieve belt.
- nozzles 36, 37 which are perpendicular to are directed at the top of the suction slots 11, 12.
- the one from the Circulation pump 13 and the label screen 14 formed unit lies laterally next to the housing 19 at the level of the immersion bath 1 and has its own housing.
- the two suction slots 11, 12 of the label discharges 9, 10 act despite their spatial proximity, the connection to allows a single circulation pump 13, due to the intermediate long loop 5 of the conveyor 4 after soaking times of different lengths on the bottles 18. Even with yourself differently fast or slow peeling labels is made sure that this through the two label discharges 9, 10 on a relatively short Paths are carried out quickly and therefore do not fray or can dissolve.
- a second loop 38 which, like also the first loop 5, essentially horizontal is aligned and assigns to task page 2.
- the middle deflection of the upper loop 38 lies between the Middle plane M and the task-side end of the immersion bath 1.
- the conveyor 4 therefore passes in the area of the central plane M. a total of six floors with changing directions of movement, the bottom floor below the immersion bath 1, the three next floors within the plunge pool 1 and the two top floors above plunge pool 1. The height of the Bottle cleaning machine is thus optimally used.
- a third, in essentially above the caustic level Label delivery 15 provided in the area of the upper loop 38 is a third, in essentially above the caustic level Label delivery 15 provided.
- This has one at the level of the tub 40 lying with a cross to the longitudinal axis of the housing 19 surrounding sieve belt 17 and a surge 16.
- the overflow 16 is caused by a pump 39 with lye from the immersion bath 1 and rinses the labels from those passing through loop 38 Bottle cells 21 out. These labels are in the Pan 40 collected and removed by the sieve belt 17.
- the third label discharge 15 also enables special unfavorable operating conditions, e.g. when cleaning PET bottles, a safe removal of difficult to solve Labels.
