Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for wiring of connection points of electrical devices or assembly elements, a particularly to perform this procedure established line laying means and one in particular trained for use in these processes Junction.
- From DE 42 18 761 A1 (corresponding to US Pat. No. 5,515 606) is a method of wiring connection points electrical devices or assembly units known that with a high degree of rationalization through operational security and largely avoiding errors excellence.
- the procedure is generally applicable and in particular also for wiring electrical Luminaires can be used. It ensures a rational complete automation of electrical wiring Devices and assembly elements and allows to pre-assembled Lines and partial or full cable harnesses too dispense because there is a direct installation of the lines in the device or the component element.
- the process is controlled with the help of mechanical Cable laying equipment carried out in such a way that first a pre-assembled electrical device or Module element with fixed connection points provided and then by a relative movement between the pre-assembled device or assembly element and the line laying means a first connection point in the work area of the cable laying brought medium and correctly positioned relative to these becomes.
- This is done using the cable laying equipment End of an endlessly fed line into one Contacting zone of the first connection point introduced and making an electrical contact on it Connection point fixed.
- By another relative movement along a predetermined path between the pre-assembled electrical device or assembly element and the line laying means is under laying the Line successively every further connection point in brought the working area of the line laying means and positioned relative to these in the correct position.
- the cable laying means at least give relative movements one the line route between the two respective connection points corresponding length of them endlessly fed line.
- the endlessly fed Lead is from the line laying means at everyone Connection point inserted in a contact zone and under Establish an electrical contact at this connection point fixed, which means that at these junctions through-wiring takes place.
- the line laid in this way is then at the end of the Routing route in areas corresponding to this Cut off junction.
- the cut off At the same time, the end of the cable is touch-proof at the connection point kept safe.
- Cable laying equipment used have a laying tool on that protruding with a on a case arranged laying finger is formed, in which a Cable routing channel is included and the controlled Feed means for the line are assigned.
- the laying tool is opened, for example, by an industrial robot a preprogrammed line routing moves on the connection point to be contacted.
- the contact zone of this junction is with an insulation displacement contact formed in the insulation displacement slot the line to be contacted from the line laying tool is pushed in.
- connection points are designed such that they each contain the contacting zone comprise having a housing made of insulating material at least one edge-open insertion slot for one Line and at least one arranged in the housing IDC contact with one on the insertion slot aligned insulation displacement slot towards the insertion side exhibit.
- the insulation displacement contact is in it surrounding housing parts touch-proof.
- a line receiving Extension in the form of a slot or groove-like Well, the width of which is greater than that The width of the insertion slot and its dimensions are dimensioned such that a near the insulation displacement contact free end located in the Insulation displacement contact in contact-protected line included in this slot or groove-like extension can be.
- the slot-like or groove-like extension is matched to the dimensions of the laying finger and the pressure element of the laying tool of the line laying means, so that it can fulfill a double task: On the one hand, it receives the cut end of the line at the last connection point of the line laying path so that its bare end of the line cannot be reached from the outside by the standardized test finger; on the other hand, however, it acts as a guide element for the laying finger of the laying tool when positioning the laying tool over the connection point and when the line is pressed into the insulation displacement slot of the insulation displacement contact by the pressure member.
- connection points are necessary move closer together or the individual connection points to be narrower than this in consideration of the in the slot or groove-like depression or extension of the housing immersed laying finger was possible. Because in practice it must now be expected that in one Device both connection points of the known known Kind with width matched to the thickness of the laying finger the slot or groove-like depression in the housing as narrower connection points must also be used, the Possibility to remain guaranteed regardless of the special design of the connection points in one operation fully automatic without changing tools or the like to wire.
- the invention Process the features of claim 1 while the line laying means according to the invention by the features of claim 7 and the junction according to the invention characterized by the features of claim 18 are.
- the Laying finger when contacting the line outside the determine the external dimensions of the connection point Housing parts of the connecting clamps.
- the dimensions of the Housing parts can therefore be completely independent of that Laying fingers can be selected as this is for needs of the respective application, taking into account the required clearances and creepage distances is. Nevertheless, the contacting of the Guaranteed at the respective connection point, as well as no slowdown or hindrance to the automatic wiring must be accepted.
- Connection points in the known way with a the dimensions of the laying finger matched slot or groove-like depression are provided Wiring in the usual way without any changes would be required.
- the new line installation means itself is compact in its structure and easy to control, i.e. it requires no additional action on his move serving industrial robot or portal.
- the line will perfectly in the insulation displacement slot of the insulation displacement contact indented, with a guide both the Pressure member and thus also the line laying means like also - if necessary - a pre-fixation and positioning the cable when inserting it into the insertion slot the junction are possible.
- connection point is based on the basic principle similar to that explained at the beginning, from the DE 42 18 741 A1 (US-PS 5 515 606) known connection point built up.
- the method for direct wiring of electrical devices and assembly elements can advantageously be used for wiring lights, as is explained in DE 42 18 741 A1. It is based on a preassembled luminaire box which contains the electrical switching elements required for operating the gas discharge lamps, which are fixed in the correct position on the box base according to a predetermined site plan and of which only an electrical ballast 1 is illustrated in FIGS is designed with connection points designed according to the invention. These connection points 2 are all designed according to the same basic principle with a contact zone according to the insulation displacement technique. Their training can be seen in detail by way of example from FIGS.
- connection point 2 is formed in a housing 4 of a clamping means, for example a connecting terminal, consisting of insulating material (plastic), which can be single-pole or, as shown in FIG. 2, two-pole or also multi-pole, as shown in FIG. 3.
- the insulating material housing 4 is essentially cuboid in FIG. 2 and is provided at the bottom with a fastening device in the form of a bracket 5, with which it is fastened to a base plate 7 of the ballast 1 on a bent-out tab 6.
- Base wedge of the housing 4 are at equal intervals parallel, vertical walls 9, 10 formed, each limit a contact zone 3 (Fig. 5) laterally.
- Each contacting zone is a metallic insulation displacement contact 11 transverse to the longitudinal extent of the walls 9, 10 arranged arranged in a known manner Insulation displacement slot 12, which to the Line insertion side opens, the top in Fig. 2 of the housing 4.
- the one not shown in Way with the winding of the ballast 1 electrically Conductively connected lamellar or tab-shaped IDC contact 11 is at its opposite Narrow sides in parallel grooves 13 in the associated Walls 9, 10 added with play, such that the IDC slot 12 delimiting leg of the IDC contact 11 when pressing in to be contacted Dodge line elastically.
- Both sides of the insulation displacement contact 11 are connected to the both side walls 9, 10 rib-like or strip-like inside Projections 14 are formed, each in pairs opposite each other and each have a cable entry slot 15 limit, the open to the entry side and has a substantially U-shaped shape.
- the rib-like or strip-like projections 14 are in Seen longitudinal direction of the walls 9, 10, at a distance from that Insulation displacement contact 11; they also form the side Limitation of the contact zone 3, which is thus in a Chamber of substantially rectangular cross-sectional shape is included.
- At the two insertion slots 15 each junction 2 close on both sides two slot-like or groove-like depressions, the extensions the insertion slots 15 form and to the Front or rear of the housing 4 and to the cable entry side open up.
- the slot-like or groove-like Extensions 16, the insertion slots 15 and the IDC slot 12 are each in a common Plane of symmetry, which is indicated in Fig. 5 at 17.
- the Depth of extensions 16 is in this embodiment slightly larger than that of the insertion slots 15, which, 3 and 4, essentially is equal to the depth of the insulation displacement slots 12.
- Insertion bevels 19a on the adjacent ones are assigned to wall areas (cf. Fig. 2).
- each of the slit or groove-like extensions 16 is chosen so that the end one in the insulation displacement slot, for example in accordance with FIG. 21 12 of the insulation displacement contact 11 of the respective Junction contacted line 20 in the extension 16 is kept safe from touch. It means that the "standard test finger" when testing for touch safety not up to the free bare end of the in the Close to the insulation displacement contact 11 cut line 20 can penetrate.
- the width of the depressions 16 on the outer diameter of the insulation to be contacted Line 20 tuned; it is, as for example Fig. 21, 22 show only slightly larger than this outer diameter, but can also be the same or even be slightly smaller than this outer diameter.
- the Width of the insertion slots 15 is in any case such that they somewhat smaller or at most essentially the same Outside diameter of the insulation to be contacted Line 20 is so that they are elastically compressed Isolation held and thus strain relieved or but is at least guided sideways.
- connection points 2 i.e. the lateral distance between the centers of adjacent insulation displacement slots is achieved by minimizing the wall thickness Side walls 9, 10, the cutting contact width, the width of the slot or groove-like extensions 16, etc. one small predetermined latching distance of e.g. 3.5 mm accordingly educated.
- the whole connection point corresponds to their latitude, longitude and, if necessary, also in their depth dimension a predetermined grid dimension, the minimum size due to the requirements of at least clearances and creepage distances to be observed.
- the slot-like or groove-like depressions or reductions 16 can have, at their front ends remote from the insulation displacement contact 11, integrally formed, opposing rib-like projections 22 on the walls 9, 10 delimiting the depression, as shown, for example, in FIGS. 8, 14 and 17-19 is illustrated.
- the contacted line 20 is also held tensile at this point distant from the insertion slot 15, at the same time achieving an external closure of the recess 16 when the line is inserted.
- the insertion and receiving slots 15, 23 do not have to have a constant width over their depth. It is often expedient to place the rib-like or strip-like projections 14 and 22 over the groove depth in such a way that, for example, in the vicinity of the groove bottom there is a smaller width and thus a stronger clamping for the pressed-in line. This area of reduced width can be seen for the insertion slots 15 in the embodiment according to FIG. 3 at 15a. In the embodiments according to FIGS.
- the areas of reduced slot width in the receiving slots 23 are present between retaining lugs 24 which are opposite one another in pairs.
- the retaining lugs 24 are integrally formed on the rib-like or strip-like projections 22 at a distance from the slot bottom; they have a profile shape which narrows in a wedge shape towards the slot bottom and are formed with retaining shoulders 25 which prevent an unintentional release of a line 20 pressed into the respective receiving slot.
- Corresponding measures can also be provided on the rib-like or strip-like projections 14 which delimit the insertion slots 15.
- the rib-like or strip-like projections 14 and 22 extend the air and creepage distances, so that they allow a further minimization of the dimensions of the connection point when fitting into the grid dimension.
- the insulation displacement contacts 11 no longer, as in Fig. 5, 19 shown as a simple flat leaflet train, but profiled in cross section shape. Examples of this are shown in FIGS. 17, 18 illustrated. 17 in the embodiment of FIG the insulation displacement contact 11a in cross section U-shaped and in the contact zone 3 on one side by molded Ribs 26 on the side walls 9, 10 of the junction of an axial direction while the fixation in the other axial direction through the rib-like or strip-like Projections 14 of the insertion slot 15 happens.
- the insulation displacement contact is 11b S-shaped in cross section. He is supported in the axial direction of the extensions 16 on both sides of the delimiting the insertion slots 15 rib-like or strip-like projections 14.
- connection points are also conceivable for which are adjacent to the insulation displacement contact 11 Insertion slot 15 only on one side to the Slit or groove-like extension leading outside the housing 16 connects.
- the one described below Wiring procedures also allow the connection points to train so that one of the groove or slot-like Wells 16 on their of the insulation displacement contact 11 remote end face by a molded End wall 27 is closed, as is shown in FIGS. 7, 8 is shown.
- Such a junction is special for use at the beginning or end of the line suitable.
- the end wall 27 also in the form of a thin spray skin or be designed with predetermined breaking lines or the like, so that when you press the line 20 into the extension 16 can be broken out. You can also use both extensions 16 of junction 2 with correspondingly break-out End walls.
- FIG. 9 to 11 illustrates.
- the arranged overlapping each other and on the insertion side are each provided with an insertion bevel 29.
- the Pushing a line 20 into the respective slot or groove-like extension 16 give way to the wings 26 elastically to the side, with the inside against the side walls 9, 10 put on and in the soft insulation material of the cable press in so that they simultaneously have an additional Form strain relief.
- the cable laying means has a housing 30 attached to an industrial robot or attached to a portal handling device is that it allows the line laying means in terms of a standby position, device to be wired to the programmed To move cable laying routes.
- DE 42 18 741 A1 US Pat. No. 5,515,606
- a vertical one Line laying finger 31 arranged, its substantially rectangular cross-sectional shape at 32 for example in Fig. 20 is indicated.
- the laying finger rounded below 31 contains a cable routing channel 33, which then to a straight piece of canal near the lower end of the laying finger 31 is curved by 90 ° and in a flat side surface 34 of the laying finger 31 with a line outlet opening 35 at a short distance opens from the bottom side 36 of the laying finger 31.
- Of the Cable routing channel 33 takes place in the housing 30 Continued in a guide tube one out of two at 34 (Fig.
- An image processing system attached to the housing 30 360 forms 370 with its image recording device Position sensor, which allow the laying finger 31 when Control of a junction 2 exactly in the correct position relative to position this.
- a pressure stamp Pressure member 37 (Fig. 20, 21) vertically displaceably mounted, that with its own actuator 380 in the housing 30 (Fig. 1) is coupled, which allows it Pressure member 37 program-controlled relative to the laying finger 31 to move vertically.
- Pressure member 37 On its side surface 34 of the pressure member 3 adjacent side is Pressure member 37 designed to act as a cutting means.
- the knife blade 38 is narrower than the laying finger 31 and points only a small thickness, as shown, for example, in FIG. 20 can be seen.
- the downward face of the pressure member 37 is with a running along its length symmetrical fillet 40 part-circular cross-sectional shape provided, the radius of the outside diameter of the contacting line 20 is adapted. This will achieved that from the outlet opening 345 horizontally exiting line piece taken from the groove 40 and is guided laterally in this.
- the knife blade 38 is with its cutting edge 390 opposite the fillet 40 light. reset to a possible sharp edge and an undesirable resistance in line promotion to avoid.
- the pressure member 37 has in its lower part an essentially rectangular, laterally delimited shape, its wall thickness or maximum thickness not being significantly larger than the outside diameter of the insulation of the line 20 to be contacted. It is provided on its two opposite broad sides with parallel, mutually opposing profile grooves 42, 43 which pass through to the lower end face and laterally limit two web-like, narrow pressure surface sections 46, 47, the width of which lies in a common plane of symmetry 45 (FIG. 25) is each adapted to the width of an insulation displacement slot 12. In any case, it is smaller than the diameter of the conductor of the line 20 to be contacted.
- the two pressure surface sections 46, 47 are of the same length and are arranged at a mutual distance which is matched to the grid dimension of the connection point.
- each of the pressure surface sections 46, 47 is limited in the longitudinal direction by two strip-shaped guide sections 48, 49 of greater width or wall thickness, the width of which roughly corresponds to the width of the insertion slots 15 and any receiving slots 23 at the front end corresponds to the respective slot or groove-like extension 16.
- the guide sections 48, 49 can be chamfered or rounded on their edges on the side facing the pressure surface 46, as is indicated in the guide sections 48.
- Figures 21, 22 and 25 in particular show that the wall thickness 32 of the pressure member 37 is selected so that it can dip into the slot or groove-like extensions 16 of the connection point 2 with lateral play.
- the width of the grooves 42, 43 is the same size and is adapted to the grid dimension of the connection point in such a way that, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 23 to 25, the two guide sections 48, 49 of the pressure member 37 immersed in an extension 16 in the insulation displacement slot 12 inserted pressure surface section 46 are received in the two insertion slots 15 of this insulation displacement contact 11, while the rib-like or strip-like projections 14 delimiting the contacting zone 3 lie between the knife blade 38 and the opposite side wall of the groove 43 with lateral play. In the position shown in FIGS. 20 to 22, shifted by a detent distance, the pressure member 37 dips into both extensions 16, the pressure surface section 46 being inserted into the insulation displacement slot 12.
- the guide sections 48, 49 adjacent to the pressure surface section 46 again engage in the two guide slots 15 of the contacting zone 3 from the outside, while the knife blade 38 is located on the outside next to the housing 4.
- the pressure member 37 can therefore when immersed in the slot-like or groove-like extensions 16 and in the chamber of the contact zone 3 in the connection point 2 at the same time an exactly correct orientation and positioning of the respective pressure surface section 46 and 47 to the insulation displacement slot 12, on which the contacting of line 20 to be pushed in, cause.
- the distance between the two is a single back zone forming pressure surface sections 46, 47 can thus be found in the junction geometry again.
- the division edge left - middle of contact edge right of connection point 2 limiting housing parts is thus with the distance and the length of the pressure surface sections 46, 47 formed indentation zones matched so that a collision of the pressure member 37 with housing parts when pressing and Contacting line 20 is excluded.
- FIGS. 20 to 24 The automatic wiring of those described at the beginning Junction points 2 by means of the above Line laying means is illustrated in FIGS. 20 to 24:
- the pressure member 37 is through its actuator 380 with respect to the laying finger 31 in three different Positions adjustable:
- a first position which is used to extend the Pressure member 37 and the laying finger 31 from a connection point serves, is the pressure member 37, after 22 at such a distance above the line outlet opening 35 that it is freely exposed and the laying finger 31, with the simultaneous output of the the junction contacted line 20 without hindrance through housing parts of junction 2 of this can be moved horizontally.
- the pressure member 37 In a second position, the starting position for Contact in particular the beginning of the line and 20, the pressure member 37 is so that its pressure surface 46, 47 at least with that of the laying finger 31 adjacent pressure surface section 47 a smooth transition to the upper edge of the cable duct 33 in the area of the line cutout 35 of the laying finger 31 forms.
- the knife blade 38 is set back slightly upwards, so that the knife edge 390 feeds the line 20 is not a hindrance in the way. In this position it is horizontal line piece emerging from the outlet opening 35 on the side facing away from junction 2 supported by the pressure surface 46, 47.
- the routing path 31 becomes the one at the beginning of the line brought to the contact point to be contacted.
- the pressure member 37 is on the laying finger 31 in the second position (Fig. 20) transferred.
- Line 20 will out of the laying finger until it joins their end under that of the laying finger 31 lying pressure surface section 46, i.e. the grooves 42 lies.
- the laying finger 31 is over with the pressure member 37 the junction 2 positioned so that the Pressure surface section 46 formed first indentation zone and the middle of the contact zone 3 are aligned.
- the Parts now take the position of FIG. 20, in which the horizontal line piece lying in the groove 40 and supported by the pressure surface 46, 47 at a distance stands above the housing 4.
- the laying finger will move 31 and the pressure member 37 down together, i.e. the laying finger 31 retains its fixed spatial assignment to the pressure member 37 during this movement.
- the Pressure member 37 dips into connection point 2 from above a while the laying finger and the knife blade 38 laterally outside the housing 4 of the connection point 2 remain.
- the pressure member 37 goes with the laying finger 31 until the line 2 in the Insulation displacement slot 12 is contacted properly (Fig. 21).
- the pressure member 37 becomes stationary when it remains Laying finger 31, relative to laying finger 31 Move up to the first position in which it is in Distance from the housing 4 and thus the connection point stands.
- the laying finger 31 is closed with the pressure member 37 brought the next connection point 2, the Laying finger 31 and the pressure member 37 in the starting position 20 are transferred.
- connection point 20 For wiring through the line 20 at a connection point go after positioning the laying finger over the junction of the laying finger 31 and that Pressure member 37 from the initial position shown in FIG. 20 in the Position according to FIG. 21, whereupon the pressure member 37 22 and returns to the first position the laying finger to the next connection point 2 moves.
- the through-wired line is at 20a in Fig. 22 indicated by dashed lines.
- the laying finger 37 is so over the junction positioned that the knife blade 38 adjacent Printing surface section 47 and the one formed by them second indentation zone with the middle of the contact zone 3 align (Fig. 23, 25).
- the pressure member 37 then returns to the first or second position back, with which the line laying means Drive unhindered to the next junction can.
- this extension 16 can also be front be closed, as already shown in FIGS. 6 to 11 was explained. The same applies analogously to the Conditions at the beginning of the line.
- This front closure of the line beginning or end of line slot or groove-like extension 16 allowed the terminal connection points even further shorten without touching the bare Endanger cable ends.
- each Junction 2 are in the area of the insertion slots 15 delimiting rib-like or strip-like Projections 14 over the upper edge of the side walls 9, 10 preferred so that molded protruding tongue-shaped Shaped parts 14a, which with insertion bevels 19th are provided and between them an extension of the protrude the insertion slots 15 to the insertion side to let.
- 26 to 29 is the control of the line laying means when contacting such a connection point illustrated.
- the line laying means When contacting the Line beginning corresponding to FIGS. 26, 27 are initially the laying finger 31 and that in the second position standing pressure member 37 above the junction positioned that the printing surface area 46 is centered the contact zone 3 is aligned.
- the horizontal Line piece 20 already between the tongue-shaped Moldings 14a are brought, so that a pre-centering and pre-fixation of the line is reached before the actual contact is made.
- the automatic wiring method explained above is together with the new line laying equipment, i.e. the laying finger 31 and the pressure member 37, also for wiring connection points can be used according to DE 42 18 741 A1 (US Pat. 5 515 606) with a thickness corresponding to the laying finger 31 Width of the extension 16 of the insertion slots 15 and thus relatively large distances between adjacent connection points are formed.
- This is of considerable practical importance because in the Practice, e.g. automatic electrical wiring Shine, cases occur, for example, due to different electrical conditions, connection points both of the known type and that described here new embodiment in one and the same device be used.
- the full compatibility ensures that regardless of the type of connection points used no hindrance in the automatic Wiring can occur.
- Second indentation zone Both when contacting the beginning of the line as well when through-wiring and when contacting the cable end becomes the pressure member 37 with respect to the connection point 2 positioned so that the knife blade 38 is always adjacent Printing area section 47 (second indentation zone) is used.
- the line is cut off contacted.
- the line is then cut off by a relative movement between the laying finger 31 and the knife blade 38 such that the pressure member holds contacted line in the insulation displacement slot 12, while the laying finger 31 to the insertion side from the Extension 16 is moved out.
