Definitions
- the invention relates to a safety switch for a machine or Device associated protection device, which the features of the preamble of claim 1 (DE-A-4 408 024).
- Protective devices of this type prevent people from entering the danger zone a machine or device can get as long as this in Operation is.
- the door or the like which enables access becomes this monitored by a safety switch that turns on the machine or only permitted if the door or the like is closed, and stops the machine or device when the door or the like is opened.
- the known safety switches of the type mentioned are by means of a key operated in a channel provided in the switch head is insertable and extractable from it. Both when inserting the Key in the switch head as well as when pulling out there is a switchover of the switch, preferably in one case inevitably due to the force exerted on the key.
- the known safety switches have the serious disadvantage that that when the switch head detaches from the switch housing, in particular as a result of an external force, a break leads to separation, the plunger of the safety switch due to the effects on it Resetting force passes into the switching state in which the machine or Facility can be turned on or stays on. If the Separation of the switch head from the switch housing occurs when the door or the like of the protection device is open or is opened, the missing with the Protection device and the safety switch aimed for protection completely.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of a safety switch to create the type mentioned above, which then also its safety function not lose if the switch head is separated from the switch housing. This The task is solved by a safety switch with the features of claim 1.
- the switch housing can the latter when disconnecting the switch head from Switch housing on the switch actuator, from the position of which Switch position of the switch is dependent, exert a force on the switch brings in the off state or prevents the switch in the position changes in which the machine or device is in operation is taken or can be taken.
- the senor has at least one mechanical probe.
- other sensors also come for example optical or electrical sensors.
- a mechanical version is also in the actuator Cost reasons and reliability reasons advantageous, where expedient the actuating force provided by a spring accumulator becomes.
- the actuator can also other components, for example have electromagnetic components, or from such consist.
- the power transmission member as a pivot lever, in whose swivel path is a stop surface of the switch actuator.
- the swivel lever only influences the switch actuator in this case if the switch head has detached from the switch housing and over the Sensor the actuator has been triggered.
- this is preferably a blocking element formed the force transmission member with the existing switch head holds in its inactivated state and only releases when that Probe detects the detachment of the switch head from the switch housing.
- the actuating device is particularly simple and space-saving when the sensing element by one and the power transmission element by the other Arm of a double-armed lever is formed. It can then, for example a spring forming the spring one of the storage of the double-armed Loop around the lever-supporting bearing pin and with one end on Switch housing, support with its other end on the double-armed lever.
- At least two are advantageous identically trained power transmission elements are provided, which extend over the circumference of the switch actuator are arranged distributed in the switch housing, and although advantageously symmetrically to the switch actuator.
- the support of the force of the spring accumulator on the switch head can be made accordingly be chosen according to requirements. If such a support that the force or the main force component transverse to the direction of movement of the Switch actuator is directed, usually by means of screws caused connection of the switch head with the switch housing too much burdened, for example in a switch housing made of plastic with in these machined tapped holes could be the case, you can Provide support so that the force or main force component in radial direction of the plunger is directed.
- a safety switch for one associated with a machine or facility Protection device having a door or the like, which in closed condition prevents a person from entering the danger area the machine or device can reach as shown in FIG. 1 cuboid switch housing 1, which in the exemplary embodiment is made of plastic exists, but could also consist of metal.
- switch housing 1 which in the exemplary embodiment is made of plastic exists, but could also consist of metal.
- a switch head 2 which is connected to the switch housing 1 via screws, not shown. That, for example, on the fixed frame of the door to be monitored Protection device fixed switch housing 1 contains a switch 3, which is in the control circuit of the machine or device.
- the switch 3 For the Operation of the switch 3 is longitudinally displaceable in the switch housing 1 Plunger 4 mounted, which extends from the switch 3 against the switch head 2 and penetrates a magnet coil 5 fixedly arranged in the switch housing 1.
- the section of the plunger 4 penetrating this magnetic coil 5 is open Part of its length is designed as an armature, which, when the solenoid 5 is excited against the force of a return spring, not shown, in the direction pulled to the switch 3 in the solenoid 5 and in this position is held.
- the solenoid 5 is only required if prevented Should be that the door immediately after switching off the machine or device or the like can be opened. Unless it is necessary for the Safety switch for a certain period of time after switching off the Machine or device still blocked the door or the like, can the magnetic coil 5 can be dispensed with without the function of the safety switch limit.
- a cam 7 is rotatably mounted in the switch head 2, which in a the key channel 8 penetrating the switch head 2 protrudes.
- the cam plate 7 is in the switch head 2 each in the longitudinal direction of the plunger 4 Slidable slide 9 arranged with an elongated hole for the passage the axis 6 is provided.
- the two slides 9, the roof-shaped the upper end section also protrudes into the key channel 8 when the slide 9 stand in the locked position, in which springs, not shown, to hold them search, act with one rotatably connected to the cam 7 Cam 10 together, which they in their locked position against Rotation of the cam disc 7 counterclockwise when looking 1 and 2 secure to prevent the safety switch can be actuated by means other than a key 11 assigned to it can, which is arranged on the door of the protective device to be monitored is that he enters the key channel 8 when the door is closed.
- the Key 11 is designed so that it enters the key channel 6 first pushes the two sliders 9 so far against the switch housing 1, that they the cam disks 10 and thus the cam 7th for a counter-clockwise rotation when looking towards 1 and 2 release. A crossbar of the key 11 then comes in Engagement with a groove 12 of the cam disc 7 and rotates this into that in Fig. 3rd shown angular position.
- the flanks of the second groove 13 are so steep that by rotating the Cam 7 does not move the tappet end out of the second groove 13 can be.
- the blocking of the control disk 7 prevents the key 11 pulled out of the key channel 7 and the door to be secured can be opened as long as the machine or device is in operation and therefore access must be excluded. Only when the machine or Device switched off and preferably also came to a standstill is, the solenoid 5 is excited, whereby the plunger 4 in the sense of opening of the switch 3, when looking in accordance with FIGS. 1 to 3 downwards, is moved so far that the tappet end releases the cam 7. Just now the key 11 can be pulled out of the key channel 8 and the Key 11 door or the like can be opened. thanks to the high section of the control curve of the cam 7, the solenoid 5 be switched off as soon as through the high section of the control curve Tappet 4 held in the position holding the switch 3 in the open state can be.
- an actuating device identified as a whole by 14 which has a carrier 15 with a central passage opening for the tappet 4 having.
- the carrier 15 is firmly connected to the switch housing 1.
- One on its underside adjacent roller membrane seal 16 is on the other hand tight with connected to the plunger 4 and thereby protects the inside of the switch housing 1 against access from external interference.
- the support 5 has two at the same height parallel to each other and to the axis 6 bearing journal 17 on which a double-armed swivel lever of the actuating device 14 is rotatable is stored.
- the two pivot levers are in a common one Radial plane in which the longitudinal axis of the plunger 4 also lies.
- the two arm of the swivel lever pointing away from each other form one Probe 18, which, as shown particularly in FIGS. 2 and 3, on the actuator 14 pointing surface each a material section 2 'of Switch head 2 rest, provided that the switch head 2 properly with the Switch housing 1 is connected and abuts against this.
- a force transmission element 19 forming arm of each of the two pivot levers towards the tappet 4.
- the free The end of each of the two power transmission members 19 overlaps, as shown in FIG. 2 and 3 show a stop surface formed by a shoulder of the plunger 4 20.
- the stop surface 20 of the plunger 4 has only a small Distance from the power transmission members 19 and is in their swivel range.
- each of the two journals 17 of the actuating device 14 there is one Leg spring 21 arranged on the one hand on the carrier 15 and on the other supported on the feeler 18.
- the two preloaded leg springs 21 have not only the task, the sensing element 18 in contact with the assigned material batch 2 'of the switch head 2 to hold, if any The switch head 2 detaches from the switch housing 1 into another, 6 to be able to pivot the angular position. Rather, in in such a case, the two power transmission members 19, which in the mentioned pivoting movement of the sensing elements 18 in contact with the stop surface 20 come, push the plunger 4 towards the switch 3, to open the switch.
- the force of the two leg springs 21 must therefore together be greater than the force acting on the plunger 4 Restoring force. As shown in FIG.
- the two power transmission members 19 remain in contact with the stop surface 20 and thereby hold the switch 3 in open state in which the machine or device is shut down or cannot be switched on.
- the guarded door of the protection device can be opened when the switch head 2 from the switch housing 1 has solved, it can because of opening the switch 3 by the Actuator 14 does not endanger people.
- a feeler 118 in the form one arranged parallel to the plunger 104 to be longitudinally displaceable in the switch housing Provide staff can for example by means of a force transmission member 119 in the form of a double-armed Swivel lever to be transferred to the plunger 104, as in the first embodiment with a stop surface 120 for the system the free end of the power transmission member 119 is provided.
- the load on those connecting the switch head to the switch housing Screws or other fasteners through the force of the spring loaded the spring or springs forming the actuator can be reduce by, for example, providing an angle lever, one arm of the pushbutton 218 and the other arm of the power transmission member 219 forms.
- a spring 221 forming the spring accumulator is acted upon the feeler 218 transverse to its longitudinal extent, as shown in FIG. 8.
- the Rod-shaped pushbutton 218 also closes when it rests on the switch head the longitudinal axis of the plunger 204 at an acute angle.
- the switch head comes loose from the switch housing, then it swings to the side of the Pushbutton 218 on the switch housing 201 supporting spring 221 the pushbutton 218 counterclockwise when looking in accordance with FIG.
- the force transmission element is intended 319 when the switch head extends from the switch housing 301 releases, prevent the plunger 304 from the force of the return spring Switch is pushed away, that is to say upward when looking in accordance with FIG. 9 becomes.
- the feeler 318 in this embodiment is the same as that 8 designed as a pivoted lever which, as long as the Switch head is properly connected to the switch housing 301 with the longitudinal axis of the plunger 304 encloses an acute angle. Does it come off Switch head from switch housing 301, then one swings on the switch housing 301 supporting spring 321 the probe 318 away from the plunger 304 to rest against a stop 322, which is through a material section of the switch housing 301 is formed.
- the sensing element 418 can also depend on the force assigned to it Spring 421 transverse to the direction of movement of the switch actuator, So in the radial direction to the plunger 404, against a material portion 402 'of Switch head 402 are pressed.
- the pushbutton 418 has, as in FIG. 10 shows the shape of an angle lever, which can be pivoted by a switch housing 401 mounted, double-armed swivel lever protrudes, namely in Embodiment such that its one, longer leg approximately parallel to Tappet 404 is when the free end of the feeler 418 on the material section 402 'of the switch head 402 is present.
- the double-armed swivel lever forms the power transmission link 419.
- Its arm pointing away from the tappet 404 becomes from spring 421 with a force directed against switch head 402 applied. His arm directed against the plunger 404 overlaps a stop surface 420 of the plunger 404.
- the switch head 402 detaches from the switch housing 401, then spring 421 pivots both the power transmission member 419 and the feeler 418 counterclockwise when looking 10.
- the power transmission member 419 holds the plunger 404 in the position corresponding to the switched-off state of the switch or, if he has left her, push him back into this position.
