Description
In dieser Entgegenhaltung ist beschrieben, daß die Ursachen von Saugrohrexplosionen, die zur teilweisen oder ganzen Zerstörungen von Gemischaufbereitungsanlagen bei Brennkraftmaschinen durch Bruch oder Brand führen, auf Zündungen des bei offenem Einlaßventils vorgelagerten oder während des Saughubes angesaugten Luft-Kraftstoff-Gemisches zurückzuführen sind. Aufgrund dieser Zündungen kommt es zu einem überproportionalen Anstieg des Druckes in dem Saugrohr, wodurch das Saugrohr beschädigt oder sogar zerstört wird. Bei "dickwandigen" Saugrohren konnte es zu einer solchen Zerstörung nicht kommen, da die Materialstärke des Saugrohres ausreichte, um dem überproportionalen Druck standzuhalten. Solche "dickwandigen" Saugrohre waren beispielsweise aus Sandguß mit Wandstärken von etwa 4 Millimetern hergestellt und wiesen keine Trenn-Nähte auf. Diese Saugrohre waren schwer und stabil.
Ein gattungsgemäßes Saugrohr ist aus der EP 0 280 122 A 2 bekannt.
Claims (3)
- Dünnwandiges Saugrohr (1) für eine Brennkraftmaschine mit Anschlußkanälen, die zu den Zylindern der Brennkraftmaschine führen, und wenigstens einem Drosselklappenstutzen, mit dem die von der Brennkraftmaschine angesaugte Brennluft gesteuert wird, wobei das Saugrohr (1) eine stromab des Drosselklappenstutzens angeordnete und in die Atmosphäre führende Öffnung (2) aufweist, die bei Übersteigen eines vorbestimmten Druckes innerhalb des Saugrohres (1) geöffnet wird, damit die Wandung des Saugrohres (1) nicht durch Übersteigen des vorbestimmten Druckes beschädigt wird, wobei die Öffnung (2) durch ein auf einen Überdruck im Saugrohr (1) ansprechendes Ventil (3) gesteuert wird und das Ventil (3) nach Wegfall des Überdrucks selbsttätig wieder schließt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Ventil (3) von einem Elastomer-Regenschirmventil (4) gebildet ist, das mit einem Stiel (5) in eine zentrale Öffnung (6) hineinragt und durch einen Stiftansatz (7) einer Schraubbuchse (8) gehalten ist.
- Saugrohr nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schraubbuchse (8) einen durch Rippen (9) beabstandeten Kragenring (10) aufweist, auf den eine Abdeckkappe (11) aufgeschoben und mit diesem verklippst ist.
- Saugrohr nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Rippen (9) der Schraubbuchse (8) einen Werkzeugansatz (12) bilden, so daß die Schraubbuchse (9) in die Öffnung (2) eingeschraubt werden kann.
