Claims (38)
- Material zur Reinigung von Oberflächen von Zähnen und Zahnersatzmaterialien mit einem Grundkörper (24) und einer Vielzahl von vom Grundkörper (24) getragener Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110), welche verglichen mit ihrer Länge kleine transversale Abmessungen aufweisen, wobei der Grundkörper (24) ein flexibles, biegbares Gebilde ist und die Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) vom Grundkörper getragen sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) nach Art von Polschlingen oder Polfäden vom Grundkörper (24) getragen sind.
- Material nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest ein Teil der Reinigungselemente Monofilamente (110) sind.
- Material nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Durchmesser der Monofilament-Reinigungselemente (110) zwischen 1 µm und 500 µm, vorzugsweise zwischen 1 µm und 100 µm und wiederum vorzugsweise zwischen 1 µm und 50 µm beträgt.
- Material nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Endabschnitte der Monofilament-Reinigungselemente (110) gespalten (108) sind.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest ein Teil der Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60) Multifilament-Fasern sind.
- Material nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in Endabschnitten (128) zumindest eines Teiles der Multifilament-Reinigungselemente (26, 28) die Einzelfilamente (122) miteinander verbunden sind.

- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 5-8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Durchmesser der Multifilament-Reinigungselemente (26, 28) zwischen 10 µm und 1000 µm, vorzugsweise zwischen 10 µm und 500 µm und wiederum vorzugsweise zwischen 50 µm und 300 µm beträgt.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 5-9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Durchmesser der Einzelfilamente um einen Faktor 10-500, vorzugsweise um einen Faktor 20-100 kleiner ist als der Durchmesser der Reinigungselemente.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1-10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest ein Teil der Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 110) jeweils eine verschleißende oder sich im Gebrauch öffenende Grundstruktur (124; 110) und von dieser getragene abrasive Partikel (61; 126) aufweist.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1-11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest einige (34) der Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60) wendel- oder girlandenförmig sind.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1-12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß unter den Reinigungselementen (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) solche (26) mit erster Länge und solche (28) mit zweiter Länge sind.
- Material nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Reinigungselemente (26) erster Länge und die Reinigungselemente (28) zweiter Länge in verschachtelten streifenförmigen Bereichen (30, 32) angeordnet sind.
- Material nach Anspruch 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Teilflächen (36, 38) des Grundkörpers (24) mit unterschiedlich ausgerichteten, vorzugsweise zueinander senkrechten Streifen aus Reinigungselementen (26, 28) unterschiedlicher Höhe belegt sind.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1-15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Anzahl der Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) pro Flächeneinheit in unterschiedlichen Bereichen (136, 138) des Materiales unterschiedlich groß ist.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1-16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Überstand der Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) über den Grundkörper (24) zwischen 0,5 und 15 mm, vorzugsweise zwischen 2 und 10 mm und nochmals vorzugsweise zwischen 4 und 8 mm, insbesondere etwa 8 mm beträgt.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1-17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest ein Teil (26) der Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) texturiert ist, z.B. um diese Reinigungselemente zu kräuseln.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1-18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Oberfläche zumindest eines Teiles der Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) zumindest teilweise aufgerauht ist.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1-19, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) mit energiereicher Strahlung, insbesondere UV-Strahlung, Gammastrahlen oder Elektronenstrahlen behandelt sind.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1-20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mindestens ein Teil der Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) mit einem ihre Steifigkeit erhöhenden Material (112; 124) imprägniert oder beschichtet ist.
- Material nach Anspruch 21, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest ein Teil der mit ihre Steifigkeit erhöhendem Material (112; 124) imprägnierten oder beschichteten Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) einen Abschnitt (134) aufweist, der nicht imprägniert oder nicht beschichtet oder mit einem die Steifigkeit weniger erhöhenden zweiten Material imprägniert oder beschichtet ist.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1-22, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest ein Teil der Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) mit einem antimykotischen und/oder antibakteriellen Wirkstoff imprägniert oder beschichtet ist.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1-23, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Grundkörper (24) ein Gewebe, ein Gestrick, ein Geflecht, ein Gewirk, ein Vlies, ein Filz, ein Fadengelege, eine Folie oder ein ähnliches Gebilde ist, an welchem die Enden der Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) festgelegt sind und welches durch ein elastisches Tränkmaterial oder eine elastische Beschichtung zumindest abschnittsweise versteift ist.
- Material nach Anspruch 24, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest ein Teil der Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) herausgezogene Abschnitte von Fäden des aus Fäden aufgebauten Grundkörpers (24) sind.
- Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1-25, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Grundkörper (24) zusätzlich Borsten (58, 60) trägt oder von Borsten durchsetzt wird, deren Länge kleiner ist als die der Reinigungselemente (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110).
- Gerät zur Reinigung von Oberflächen von Zähnen und Zahnersatzmaterialien, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es ein Materialstück (22) aus einem Material gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1-26 aufweist, welches konvexe transversale Querschnittsgeomtrie aufweist und mit einem Halteteil (14; 42; 74; 80; 92) verbunden ist.
- Gerät nach Anspruch 27, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es durch elastische Vorspannung oder plastische Verformung die konvexe transversale Querschnittsgeomtrie aufweist.
- Gerät nach Anspruch 27 oder 28, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Grundkörper (24) auf einem elastischen Kopfkörper (14) angeordnet ist oder ein Abschnitt eines solchen ist.
- Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 27-29, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Materialstück (22) vor, beim oder nach dem Aushärten eines in den Grundkörper (24) infiltrierten Tränkmateriales (90) oder Beschichtungsmateriales (40) in die konturierte Form gebracht ist.
- Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 27-30, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Längsabmessung des Materialstückes (22) etwa 15 bis 30 mm, vorzugsweise 20 mm, und die Breite des Materialstückes (22) etwa 5 bis 15 mm, vorzugsweise etwa 10 mm, beträgt.
- Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 27-31, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwei einander gegenüberliegende Enden des Materialstückes (22) mit Befestigungsmitteln (76, 78) versehen sind, an welchen ein Haltebügel (80) vorzugsweise unter Vorspannung angebracht ist.
- Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 27-32, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Halteteil (14; 42; 74; 80; 92) vom Abtriebsteil (84) eines Vibrators (86), eines Ultraschallgenerators oder eines elektrischen Zahnbürstenantriebes bewegt wird.
- Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 27-33, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest ein Teil des Randes des Materialstückes (22) eine Anordnung wendel- oder girlandenförmiger Reinigungselemente (34) aufweist.
- Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 27-34, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Länge zumindest eines Teiles der Reinigungselemente (26, 28) zu mindestens einem Paar gegenüberliegender Ränder des Materialstückes (22) hin zunimmt.
- Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 27-35, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest ein Teil der randständigen Reinigungselemente (60) des Materialstückes (22) schräg zur Fläche des Grundkörpers (24) geneigt ist.
- Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 27-36, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Grundkörper (24) für Flüssigkeit durchlässig ist und seine von den Reinigungselementen (26, 28, 34, 58, 60, 110) abgewandte Seite mit einem Zuführkanal (94) für Behandlungsflüssigkeit in Verbindung steht, der zu einem in einem Griff untergebrachten Vorratsbehälter (98) für Behandlungsflüssigkeit führt.
- Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 27-30, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Grundkörper (24) als Fingerkappe ausgebildet ist.
