Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hollow box profile, the especially for those that can be produced in a modular design and are light removable partition systems are provided and is suitable and that from essentially cuboid reshaped steel strip with punched holes consists.
  • Partition systems of the type in question exist generally of a load-bearing mullion-transom construction, said box girder profile both as a post as can also be used as a latch, and from wall, Window and door modules attached to the load-bearing structure are preferably releasably attached, the individual Modules made of wood, plastic, wood composite materials, metal or glass can exist. That for the establishment of the supporting structure used box girder profile comes doing so is crucial, both in terms of mechanical stability, especially torsional rigidity, as well as with regard to fire and noise protection requirements, which are mainly used in commercial Area used partition systems have to.
  • hollow box profiles of the aforementioned Generic room partition systems are for example from the utility model G 87 17 904 and the Utility model G 88 16 913 known.
  • the ones described there Profile stands have hollow chambers arranged in pairs, the side walls in one piece via a central connecting web are interconnected.
  • the facing the wall panels Outside walls of the hollow chambers are punched with holes provided in the form of grid openings, which the recording of hanging elements attached to the back of the wall panels serve or as hanging openings for additional parts to be hung, such as shelf consoles, Wall cabinets or the like are formed.
  • the known hollow box profiles were made in one piece from one Steel strips formed by rolling, the two end sections of the steel strip flat with adjacent wall sections the profile by welding or clinching ("Verclinchen”) have been connected.
  • EP-A-0 149 465 is a cavity profile as a wall support for the creation of temporary room divisions or as a support known for racks for presenting goods.
  • the cavity profile is made from a standard profile bar one or more rolling operations are produced, two opposite flat walls of the profile bar at least around half the profile wall thickness is set back inwards, so that there is a flat saddle and at the same time Edge beads arise at the corners of the profile bar.
  • About the Edge beads are made from a one-part or multi-part formwork Metal or plastic clipped on to the profile bar to be aesthetically appealing.
  • the profile bar points in two opposite sides of the hanging openings, for example for hanging support elements.
  • the Longitudinal edges of the profile are without overlapping with each other connected and rounded.
  • the invention has for its object a hollow box profile to create that especially for room partition systems is suitable in modular construction, the modules of which are entirely or consist predominantly of glass, the box girder profile can be used equally as a post and as a transom should and on the one hand a comparatively delicate look, on the other hand, however, preferably at least the same size greater torsional stiffness than the previously known should have coarser profiles.
  • the profile according to the invention can not only be simpler, but above all slimmer, more delicate and with smaller dimensions are produced than previously was the case.
