Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cardboard packaging with the side surfaces forming Body part made of gas-tight coated cardboard and a base part as well as a cover part , which have a main part and tab parts on its edge and which in the Reach in the fuselage part, the bottom part and the lid part also made of gas-tight coated cardboard, the tab parts connected by gusset parts and the tab parts between the main part of the bottom / lid part and the Edge of the fuselage part on the inside of which are connected to the fuselage part.
  • Such cardboard packaging is intended for the gas-tight packaging of liquid, pasty, granular or powdery products or the like can be used.
  • Lots of cardboard packaging, which are to serve this purpose have coated on both sides or sealable lacquered cardboard or cardboard materials.
  • the corner joints of these packs are about pre-folded corner flaps by two to three times overlapping of cardboard thicknesses using a Heat sealing process or glue process put together so that by this Multiple overlaps on the upper edges of the main part of the carton necessarily lead to leaks arise.
  • the capping that occurs after the filling process occurs still in the cardboard corner areas due to non-flush connecting edges Leaks.
  • Cardboard material coated on both sides as is also the case with beverage packaging sealed packaging, of course, has the disadvantage of high Manufacturing costs.
  • These drinks packaging is very expensive Material on a very complex double-sided sealing especially in the Bottom area of the packaging achieves a tightness that with the considerable quantities this packaging leads to considerable costs.
  • the body part is made of cardboard and only coated gas-tight on the inside.
  • the bottom and the lid part exist made of aluminium.
  • This cardboard packaging can therefore because of the high metal content cannot be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner and is also very expensive because of this metal content.
  • One way to modify this packaging so that the lid and bottom part can consist of cardboard, is explicitly denied (DE-U-80 03 179; page 5, Lines 19 to 22).
  • the sealing in the bottom and lid area makes much more use of the excellent flow properties of aluminum, if with appropriate Closing jaw pressure is applied.
  • the object of the invention is to create a cardboard packaging at the beginning mentioned type, which is environmentally friendly, can be produced inexpensively, but is absolutely liquid and gas tight.
  • the box is only coated on the inside saves costs and on the other hand, the amount of plastic that gets in the way of disposal becomes less, so that it will be kept below the critical 5% set by regulations can.
  • Another advantage of the one-sided coating of the cardboard is that it is easier to print on the outside. Because the fuselage part on one side surface is completely overlapping in two layers, here is a reliable seal possible despite the fact that the box is coated on one side only.
  • the special one The shape of the gusset parts, on the other hand, ensures that here only relative little material has to be compressed. By correspondingly high pressing pressures this material can be compressed so much that the box is practically closed begins to flow.
  • the various cardboard parts could be connected by gluing.
  • the inside coating of the cardboard material is advantageously heat-sealable trained so that both the fuselage part assembled with the help of heating dies can be that the bottom and lid parts with the help of this technique on Fuselage can be attached.
  • the tab parts have extensions that grasp the edge of the fuselage and are attached to the outside.
  • the stability in the bottom area and lid area is increased.
  • the seal will also thereby even better and safer.
  • the cardboard packaging is expediently provided with a tear-open tab Break lines are arranged outside the coating. This pull tab can be provided in particular in the lid. This way you have easy access to the Good that is packed in the cardboard packaging.
  • the cardboard packaging further has one put on the cover part removable and re-attachable cover.
  • the cover part removable and re-attachable cover.
  • the thickness of the coating is advantageously approximately 14 ⁇ . This results in less than 5% plastic content, so that the packaging meets the conditions of the "green dot". It is even more advantageous if the coating has a thickness of only approximately 12 ⁇ m with a cardboard thickness of approximately 250 g / m 2 .
  • the cardboard blanks on the folding lines provided are grooved or embossed.
  • a particularly suitable gas-tight coating has a thin one with aluminum metallization coated plastic film proved.
  • the cardboard blank for the body part 1 is large Side panels 3, a small side panel 4 and two side panels 5, which, as shown in Fig. 2nd is shown, glued together over the entire surface or connected by heat sealing.
  • a fuselage part 1 which is folded up for transport to the filling station can be.
  • This part of the fuselage has a rectangular cross section, but can of course also have a square cross-section or other polygonal cross-section.
  • cover and bottom parts 2 are used, as shown in Fig. 3.
  • the cover and base parts 2 have a rectangular main part 6 shown in the figures and tabs 7 adjoining it on all sides.
  • cutting 1 shows the various fields of the blank or main part 6 and tabs 7 separated by creases 8, which allow folding.
  • triangular gusset parts are provided between the tab parts, which are connected with their long sides to the flap lying next to them and are connected with their short sides.
  • These gusset parts 9 are after folded inside when the bottom / cover part 2 is inserted into the fuselage part 1.
  • the Zwikkelmaschine 9 then protrude inside in the corner area and are in the pressing tools Compressed corner area, then in connection with the gluing / heat sealing a gastight corner connection is created.
  • FIGS. 10 to 12 show a slightly different embodiment of the base / cover part 2, in which join to the tab parts 7 outer tab parts 10, which around the edge of the Opening of the fuselage part 1 can be folded and fastened, as shown in FIGS. 10 to 12 is shown.
  • This not only provides additional strength, but also additional sealing.
  • a cover 11, shown in broken lines, can be slipped onto the cover part 6 with which the packaging can be closed again when the lid part 2 has been opened. The packaging through the lid 11 is then a matter of course no longer gas-tight.
  • Both embodiments are performed according to the method steps shown in FIGS. 13 and 14 are shown, closed on the base part and after filling also on the cover part.
  • an inner jaw 12 with recesses 13 at the corners inside in the end region the fuselage part 1 and the lid / bottom part 2 are introduced, whereupon from the outside pressure is applied by jaws 14 to the connections in the edge region of the Manufacture bottom / lid. If adhesive is applied, the outer jaws 14 press the areas against the inner jaw 12. In the case of heat sealing, there is additional heat fed.
