Claims (10)

  1. Cover arrangement for an inspection opening for a sanitary element, comprising a frame (3) which can be installed in the region of the inspection opening (2), a cover plate (4) which can be releasably connected to the frame (3) and covers it, which has in a front face an activating element (24) of the sanitary element and an edge region (8) which is spaced from the front face and is directed backwards towards the frame (3), this edge region being constructed as a border for the frame (3), also comprising in the region of a first side of the cover plate (4) a locking element (6) which is resiliently disposed and undetachably fixed in a receptacle (7) by means of a spring element (11), and a corresponding latching element (17), wherein the locking element (6) is connected to the frame (3) and the corresponding latching element (17) is connected to the cover plate (4) or vice versa, also comprising in the region of the opposing side of the cover plate (4) an articulation element (18) on the cover plate (4) and a corresponding latching element on the frame (3), the said elements being covered by the cover plate (4), and after production of the connection between the cover plate (4) and the frame (3) the said latching elements (17) are in engagement with the corresponding locking element (6) or respectively with the corresponding articulation element (18) and moreover can be disengaged from the latching element (17) for release of the locking element (6), characterised in that the edge region (8) of the cover plate (4) has a release recess (9),
    that the locking element (6) has base part portions (22) which during the mounting of the cover plate (4) are movable without a tool over the associated latching element (17), the spring element (11) being temporarily compressible until after the portions (22) of the base part have been passed the latching connection of the locking element (6) to the latching element (17) is produced,
    that associated with the locking element (6) is a release element (10) which for the release of the locking element (6) is accessible and can be actuated from the outside through the release recess (9),
    and that the locking element (6) is movable by means of the release element (10) against the force of the spring element (11), becoming disengaged from the corresponding latching element (17) in such a way that the cover plate (4) can be pivoted away from the frame (3).
  2. Cover arrangement according to Claim 1, characterised in that the spring element (11) is disposed in the receptacle (7) of the locking element (6).
  3. Arrangement according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the release element (10) is connected to the locking element (6), this release element preferably being an integral component of the locking element (6) and in particular projecting away from the locking element (6) and disposed at least partially in the release recess (9).
  4. Arrangement according to Claim 4, characterised in that the locking element (6) and the release element (10) are disposed on the frame (3).
  5. Arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the frame (3) has a receiving body (36) for the activating element (24) which is provided in particular for actuating a flushing system.
  6. Arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the spring element (11) is constructed as a return spring and is compressible for release of the locking element (6), the spring element (11) preferably being disposed between the locking element (6) and a contact region or an edge region (21) of the frame (3).
  7. Arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the locking element (6) is of substantially U-shaped construction and preferably has hook-shaped projections (6) which in the locking position rest on the said receptacle (7).
  8. Arrangement according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the cover plate (4) or the frame (3) has at least one articulation recess (20) or latching recess (19) corresponding to the articulation element (18) or to the latching element (17).
  9. Arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the cover plate (4) is pivotable about a pivot axis which is formed by the articulation element (8) which engages in the articulation recess (20) for the mounting, wherein the latching element (17) can be introduced into the latching recess (19) and wherein by means of the spring element (11) the locking element (6) can be temporarily compressed until it engages in the latching recess (19).
  10. Arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the cover plate (4) has a main body (40) and a cover (44) which can be connected thereto, the main body (40) preferably being made from plastic and the cover (44) from metal.
