Definitions
- the invention relates to a cistern, in particular a concealed cistern, with a cistern body, in which a holder is fastened in an upper part to which externally operable elements for actuating a drain fitting are attached.
- a cistern of this type has become known from the applicant's EP-A-0 276 633.
- a bridge-shaped holder is used, to which the inlet valve and an angle lever for actuating the outlet valve are attached.
- the inlet valve and the angle lever can be attached to the holder in pre-assembly and the holder can then be inserted into the cistern through the inspection opening together with the parts attached to it.
- a cistern which has a holder for the storage of the actuators, which is fastened by means of a dovetail connection on the back of the cistern body.
- a bridge is provided, which is supported on the rear wall and on the front wall of the box body.
- the invention has for its object to provide a cistern that is easier and easier to assemble even with an even smaller inspection opening.
- the object is achieved in a cistern of the generic type in that the holder has a mounting plate which is fastened on the inside to the rear wall of the cistern body.
- This mounting plate now makes it possible to disassemble the individual parts from front to back during a revision. If the mounting plate is used to fasten the inlet valve, it can be arranged in the rear part when viewed from the inspection opening. The inlet valve is then attached regardless of the mounting of the actuators. Angle levers and push rods for actuating the drain valve can thus be mounted on a bridge independently of the inlet valve. When installing, the inlet valve can then be attached to the mounting plate before the bridge is installed and thus without tight spaces. A hold-down device for the drain valve can also be attached to the mounting plate before installing the bridge.
- the bridge can be used for the actuators and stored on the mounting plate.
- these individual parts are removed in reverse order from front to back. Basically, assembly is possible with simple hand movements and without special tools. Further advantageous features result from the dependent claims, the following description and the drawing.
- FIG. 1 schematically shows a vertical section through an upper part of a concealed cistern according to the invention
- FIG. 2 shows a view of a mounting plate and an upper part of a hold-down device
- FIG. 1 shows the upper part of a concealed cistern 1, which has a plastic body 2, in which a drain valve 30 as well as an inlet valve 24 (FIG. 4) are stored.
- the box body 2 has an inspection opening 5 which has a front edge 7 on which a bridge 17 is supported with a front edge 26.
- the inspection opening 5 extends from a front wall 4 of the box body 2 upwards and into the top wall 39 of the box body 2. This enables an optional actuation from the front wall 4 or from the top wall 39.
- the opening part of the inspection opening 5 which is not claimed is covered with a plate, not shown here.
- the substantially horizontally extending and U-shaped bridge 17 is used for mounting two levers 20 and 21, which are each pivotably supported independently of one another on a bearing web 29.
- the levers 20 and 21 each have a joint 19 at a rear end, on which a so-called push rod 18 engages.
- the two push rods 18 are each connected to an actuation button, not shown here. With one button, the lever 20 is pivoted in order to trigger a full flushing and the valve tube 28 of the drain valve 30 is thus raised on a bracket 27. With the other button, the lever 21 is pivoted, which additionally lifts a weight in a manner known per se and thus triggers a partial flush.
- an embodiment is also conceivable in which only one lever 20 and correspondingly only one actuation button is provided.
- a mounting plate 9 is fastened on the inside of this rear wall 3. Together with the bridge 17, this forms a holder 8.
- the mounting plate 9 is preferably snapped onto the rear wall 3.
- this rear wall 3 has at least two openings 6, each of which is penetrated by resilient locking tongues 14.
- two spaced-apart bushes 10 are formed, in each of which a cross-shaped end 23 of an arm 22 of the bridge 17 engages releasably.
- a pin 40 is driven between the spring tongues 14. This pin 40 is first molded in accordance with FIG.
- FIG. 3 in the socket 10 in front of the latching tongues 14 with a thin web, not shown here, on the mounting plate 9.
- FIG. 4 shows the driven pin 40, which holds the latching tongues 14 in the spread position.
- the mounting plate 9 is thus securely attached to the rear wall 3.
- the bridge 17 is immovably mounted on the rear wall 3 on its two arms 22.
- a receiving part 16 is formed, on which a hold-down 32 is snapped on and supported.
- the hold-down device 32 has two resilient latching tongues 35, each of which has a latching tooth 38 which engages behind the receiving part 16.
- the hold-down 32 according to FIG. 2 is supported on a molded plate 36 against an upward movement.
- the two latching tongues 35 are moved elastically against one another on projecting tabs 37 until the latching teeth 38 are out of engagement with the receiving part 16.
- the assembly is reversed accordingly.
- the hold-down 32 has a locking ring 33 at a lower end, which is rotatably snapped onto an upper edge 31 of the drain valve 30.
- This locking ring 33 is connected to the two locking tongues 35 via a web 34. As FIG. 1 shows, the web 34 and the two locking tongues 35 are leaned against the inside of the rear wall 3.
- the hold-down 32 can be very easily attached to the drain valve 30 and to the mounting plate 9 by snap connections during assembly without tools.
- a locking member 12 is also formed, which has a receiving opening 41 with two opposite locking tongues 13. In this opening 41, a cylindrical projection 25 of the inlet valve 24 is releasably engaged.
- the locking member 12 is designed so that the inlet valve 24 ge ass Figure 4 is arranged next to the bridge 17 and inclined to the rear wall 3. The inlet valve til 24 is thus releasably attached to the mounting plate 9 regardless of the bridge 17.
- the mounting plate 9 is preferably a one-piece plastic part, on which the fastening elements and in particular the bushes 10, the receiving part 16 and the locking element 12 are molded on the front of a flat and approximately strip-shaped plate 11.
- This plate 11 is approximately as wide as the inspection opening 5 and much less high than wide.
- the mounting plate 9 can thus be easily inserted through the inspection opening 5 and snapped onto the rear wall 3 without tools and thus securely fixed. It also stiffens the rear wall 3, which also stabilizes the mounting of the bridge 17 and the other organs.
