The present invention has for its object to propose a shower channel assembly for wall mounting, which allows easy installation in a masonry wall or a wall system and which is easy to handle in terms of maintenance and cleaning. In addition, the shower channel arrangement should be designed visually appealing.

The solution consists in a shower channel assembly for installation in a wall according to claim 1.

The advantage of the detachable connection of the cover with the gutter body is that the cover can be opened or completely removed from the gutter body, so that the process for maintenance and cleaning purposes is freely accessible. The fact that the fastening means are at least partially disposed within the channel body, is achieved in an advantageous manner that the cover in the closed state can be mounted flush with the shower wall is. As a result, an attractive appearance with a continuous side wall, without projections, is achieved.

The cover element, which can also be referred to as a cover plate or cover, covers the opening at least partially or largely. By this is meant that the cover in the inserted state covers the opening, but leaves a gap through which the draining water from the shower area can flow into the gutter body. The gap is formed between the lower edge of the cover member and the end edge of the shower area. The shower channel assembly may be designed so that the lower edge of the cover is approximately in a plane with the tile mirror of the shower area. The gap is in a vertical plane. However, it is also possible that between the lower edge of the cover and the tile mirror of the shower area a distance is formed, that is, that the gap is in particular in a horizontal plane. Embodiments in which the lower edge of the cover element is offset vertically and horizontally from the edge of the shower area are, of course, also conceivable.

The gutter body has in cross section considered an approximately C-shaped profile. The gutter body extends in the installed state preferably over the entire lateral extent of the shower area, wherein the length is in principle arbitrary. The channel body is elongated, that is, the length of the channel body is many times greater than the height or the depth. It is provided in particular that the gutter body has a bottom, a rear wall, a top floor and two side walls, wherein the lateral opening is arranged on the side facing away from the rear wall or opposite thereto. The lateral opening preferably extends over the entire length of the channel body between the two side walls. For a simple installation and a good seal, it is advantageous if the gutter body, apart from the lateral opening and the drain, is closed.

According to a preferred embodiment, the fastening means are designed such that the cover member between a closed position in which the cover member partially covers the opening, and an open position in which the cover member at least partially protrudes from the opening, is movable. In the open position, the drain is freely accessible for maintenance or cleaning purposes. In order to achieve even better accessibility, the cover can be completely removed from the gutter body. Preferably, the fastening means comprise at least a first fastening part, which is fixedly connected to the channel body, and at least a second fastening part which is fixedly connected to the cover plate, wherein the first fastening part and the second fastening part cooperate for fastening the cover plate to the channel body. For the specific embodiment of the fastener various possibilities are conceivable that can be used alone or in combination with each other.

A particularly simple opening and closing of the cover is made possible when the fastening means each comprise at least one magnet which forms one of the two fastening parts, which is firmly connected to the gutter body or the cover. The magnet cooperates with a ferromagnetic counterpart, which forms the other of the two fasteners. Together Magnet and counterpart are also referred to as Magnetschnäpper. Particularly favorable is the use of Druckmagnetschnäppern that jump on pressure. In this embodiment, the cover must only be pressed and then jumps in the open position or the removal position, so that it can then easily remove from the gutter body. It is understood that instead of one or more Magetschnäpper other snap mechanisms can be used, such as ball catch or snap-in connections.

Preferably, the fastening means are effectively mounted in the region of the topsoil and / or in the region of the side walls. This ensures a reliable attachment of the cover over the entire length.

For a support of the cover in the vertical direction, that is, down, this can at least indirectly rest on the bottom of the gutter body. At least indirectly means that the cover is supported directly on the gutter body, or indirectly, for example via one or more support elements. When using support elements, it is advantageous if they are adjustable in height. In this way, the gap formed between the lower edge of Wandbefliesung and the upper edge of the cover can be adjusted. The support elements may for example comprise screws or bolts, which are screwed into the underside of the cover.

Furthermore, securing means may be provided, which are designed such that the cover plate is held in a defined open position after release of the fastening means. In this way it is prevented that the cover falls uncontrollably on the Bodenbefliesung after loosening the fasteners. The securing means may be designed as a security lock and include, for example, a tab which is fixed to the one of the two parts, gutter body and cover member, and a retaining pin which is attached to the other of the two parts and over which the tab can be pulled.

There are generally different types of movement of the cover conceivable, which depends on the design of the fastener.

The fastening means may be designed so that the cover plate is pivoted relative to the channel body to be transferred from the closed position to the open position. In this case, the cover plate according to a first variant may be held on the channel body pivotally upwards. For this purpose, the fastening means, with respect to the height of the opening, are effectively arranged in an upper portion of the gutter body. In other words, the pivot axis lies with respect to a horizontal center plane through the opening in an upper region of the channel body. According to a second variant, the cover plate on the gutter body can also be held downwardly pivotable. For this purpose, the pivoting or tilting axis, with respect to the height of the opening, is effectively arranged in a lower portion of the gutter body. In the upper portion of the gutter body then the fastening means, for example in the form of magnetic catches, would be arranged.

The fastening means can also be designed positively, wherein the cover plate can be inserted into the gutter body. In particular, the fastening means can be designed as a plug connection. For this purpose, holding elements are provided on one of the two components, gutter body or cover plate, in which can engage with the other of the two components connected counter-elements. A particularly reliable attachment of the cover plate is achieved if a plurality of holding elements are provided, in particular on the two opposite side walls and on the topsoil. Retaining element and counter element, which form the first and second fastening part, may be designed, for example, according to the tongue and groove principle.

For a pleasing appearance and easy installation, it is advantageous if the bottom protrudes from the opening side opposite to the topsoil. Further, the bottom is preferably designed channel-shaped, and in particular has a peripheral edge. Due to the peripheral edge of the bottom forms a depression. In the bottom or in the recess of the bottom of the outlet nozzle is provided for connection to a sewer pipe. The sewer pipe includes a siphon that can be screwed to the ground. Alternatively, a siphon with Pipe neck piece to be used.

The channel body has on the opening side in the region of the bottom a first collar, which lies in particular in a horizontal plane. This first collar facilitates the sealing of the gutter body with respect to the floor of the shower area. In particular, the first collar can serve in the installed state of the gutter body as Anfliesfläche for Bodenbefiltung. Alternatively or in addition to the first collar, the channel body may have, on the opening side in the region of the side walls and the upper floor, a second collar, which lies in particular in a vertical plane. The second collar allows a simple seal against the side wall and can serve in particular as a contact surface for Wandbefiltung. For ease of installation, it is particularly advantageous if the gutter body comprises both a first and a second collar, which lie in mutually perpendicular planes. In this case, the first and the second collar are preferably connected directly to one another, wherein the opening of the first and second collar is peripherally bordered.

The gutter body and / or the cover are made of waterproof, stainless material. For this purpose, especially stainless steel, especially stainless steel. In this case, the floor, the rear wall and the topsoil can be produced for example as a bar or roll profile, the side walls are subsequently firmly connected to the profile, for example by welding. Alternatively, the floor can be made with peripheral edge as a separate component, with the subsequently consisting of the rear wall, side walls and topsoil upper part is firmly connected, for example by welding. However, it is also possible to use plastics or composite materials, in particular of metal and plastic, for the production of the gutter body or of the covering element. For the production of plastic injection molding or Profilstrangguß can be used. In principle, the use of stone material or ceramic is conceivable. For a matched to Wandbefliesung optics, the cover can also be tiled. For this purpose, a circumferential flow edge is provided on the cover plate in a favorable manner.

The following are the first FIGS. 1 to 6 described together. There is shown a shower tray assembly 2 according to the invention for installation in a side wall of a shower area in a first embodiment. The shower channel assembly comprises a channel body 3 with a lateral opening 4, a cover 5, which is insertable into the channel body 3, and fastening means 6, by means of which the cover 5 is detachably connectable to the channel body 3. By releasably connectable is meant that the cover 5 can be connected to the gutter body 3, so that it largely obscures the opening 4, and that it is removable from the gutter body 3 again. This is important for maintenance or cleaning purposes.

B. Edelstahl.A special feature of the present shower channel assembly 2 is that it is suitable for installation in a wall, so that the bottom surface of the shower area does not have to have the appearance of Bodenbefliesung disturbing drain. Rather, the drain 10 is in the installed state of the shower channel assembly 2 in a wall portion, wherein between the bottom of the shower area and the cover 5, a gap 31 is formed to the inlet of shower water. Thus, the shower channel assembly 2 according to the invention is particularly suitable for walk-in shower areas, which can be accessed barrier-free. The gutter body 3 and / or the cover 5 are made of waterproof, stainless material. Especially good is stainless steel, z. B. stainless steel.

The gutter body 3 has, as in particular from the FIGS. 4 and 5 shows an approximately C-shaped profile with preferably straight wall parts. In particular, the gutter body 3 comprises a bottom 7, which also serves as a lower wall section may be referred to, a subsequent to the bottom 7 rear wall 8, which may also be referred to as a rear wall portion, and a subsequent to the rear wall 8 upper bottom 9, which may also be referred to as the upper wall portion. For a simple installation in the side wall, it is favorable if the top bottom 9 runs parallel to the bottom 7. Laterally, the channel body 3 is closed by two side walls 11, 12, which are firmly connected to the bottom 7, the rear wall 8 and the top 9. The gutter body 3 is preferably designed in one piece, which should include the possibility that initially individual components are manufactured separately and subsequently connected to each other, for example by welding.

The bottom 7 is trough-shaped, that is, it forms a depression into which the shower water of the shower area can flow. For this purpose, the bottom 7 has a peripheral edge 13. Opening side closes to the edge 13 of the bottom 7, a first collar 19, which protrudes toward the shower area of the bottom 7 to the front. The first collar 19 serves in particular as a contact surface for a Bodenbefiltung 33 and facilitates the installer, the sealing or Bewerkstelligen the transition region between the shower area and gutter body 3. Furthermore, the gutter body 3 opening side in the region of the side walls 11, 12 and the top 9 a second Collar 20. The second collar 20 serves in particular as a contact surface for Wandbefiltung 34 and facilitates the installer, the sealing or Bewerkstelligen the transition region between the side wall and channel body 3. It can be seen that the first collar 19 and the second collar 20 connect directly to each other , so that the opening 4 is enclosed all around. Overall, a good seal and a simple installation of the channel body 3 is hereby facilitated.

It can be seen that the gutter body 3, with the exception of the lateral opening 4 and the drain 10, by the wall parts 7, 8, 9, 11, 12 is completely closed. In this way, the gutter body 3 is tight and can be installed well in a masonry wall, wherein formed between the wall and the gutter body 3 cavities can subsequently be filled with filler, such as plaster. For alignment and attachment of the channel body 3 during installation are several fasteners 14 provided. The fastening elements 14 preferably comprise two mutually angled support arms 17, 18, one of which can be firmly connected to the channel body 3 and the other with the floor.

For fixing the fastening elements 14, threaded bolts are externally attached to the channel body 3, onto which the fastening element 14 is placed with a slot 15. Subsequently, the fastening element 14 is fixed by screwing a nut 16 onto the threaded bolt on the channel body 3. On the second support arm 18, a further elongated hole 15 is provided for attaching the fastener 14 to the floor by means of a screw. Characterized in that the holding arms 17, 18 have elongated holes 15, the gutter body 3 can be set during installation to the desired height and align horizontally. In the present case, two fastening elements 14 are provided on each side of the gutter body 3, one of which is fastened from the rear to the second collar 20 and the other from the outside to the side wall 11, 12; However, it can also be used a different number of fasteners.

The fastening means 6 are designed so that the cover 5 can be inserted into the gutter body 3, wherein the opening 4 is largely hidden for visual reasons, and can be taken out of the gutter body 3 again. In a removed state, the drain 10 or the channel 7 formed in the bottom is freely accessible for maintenance or cleaning purposes. Preferably, exactly two fastening means 6 are provided, which are effectively mounted in the region of the side walls 11, 12. However, any other number of attachment means is conceivable, which may alternatively or additionally also be attached to the topsoil 9.

The fastening means 6 each comprise a first fastening part 22 which is fixedly connected to the gutter body 3, and a second fastening part 23 which is fixedly connected to the cover plate 5. Fixed to mean that the fasteners are at least indirectly connected to each associated connector. In particular, the possibility should be included that between the respective fastening part and the gutter body 3 and the cover plate 5 still other components are interposed. The first fastening part 22 cooperates with the second fastening part 23, that is, the two fastening parts 22, 23 can be connected to each other and separated again.

In the present embodiment, the fastening means 6 comprise at least one magnet, which forms one of the two fastening parts 22, 23. The magnet cooperates with a ferromagnetic counterpart, which forms the other of the two fastening parts 23, 22. Particularly favorable is the use of Druckmagnetschnäppern that jump on pressure. In this case, the cover 5 must only be pressed and then jumps into the open position or the removal position, so that it can be easily removed from the gutter body 3. It is especially in the FIGS. 1 and 4 It can be seen that the fastening means 6 are each attached to a holding element 26 on the associated side wall 11, for example by means of screws. The holding elements 26 are fixedly connected to the side wall 11, 12, wherein common types of connection are conceivable, such as screw, cohesive connections or snap-in connections.

The fastening means 6 are effective in relation to the height of the opening 4 in the upper half of the channel body 3. The magnets 24 cause a force in the horizontal direction, that is, in the direction of the rear wall 8, which prevent the cover 5 from falling out of the channel body 3. In the lower region of the opening 4 supporting body are provided which support surfaces 21 form, against which the cover plate 5 can be supported in the horizontal direction. The support body can be formed for example by screws, which are screwed into the holding elements 26 on the side walls 11, 12. The use of screws has the advantage that the support surface 21 can be varied by appropriate screwing or unscrewing, so that the cover plate 5 can be vertically aligned. The adjustable support body may optionally include a magnetic element which cooperates with a ferromagnetic counter element and causes a further tightening force on the cover plate 5 in the direction of the rear wall.

To support the cover 5 in the vertical direction this is supported on the floor 7 via a plurality of support elements 25. For this purpose, it is provided that the Bottom 7, viewed in cross section through the channel body 3, extends laterally beyond a plane spanned by the second collar 20 in the direction shower area. In this case, the lower edge of the cover plate 5 is approximately in a horizontal plane with the surface of Bodenbefiltung 33, or below. In this way, the gap 31 formed between the end of Bodenbefliesung and the cover plate 5 is barely visible. The width of the gap formed in a horizontal plane between the cover plate 5 and the edge of the tile 31 is selected so that even with fully open water supply, the wastewater can flow through the gap without backwater. This also applies to the gap formed in a vertical plane between the lower edge of the cover plate 5 and the bottom 7. The gap dimensions can be, for example, between 2 mm to 5 mm.

The support members 25 are adjustable in height, so that the cover plate 5 can be aligned horizontally. In particular, in this way, the gap formed between the lower edge of the Wandbefliesung and the upper edge of the cover 5 set. The support members 25 may for example comprise sleeves which are fixed to the underside of the cover 5 and are screwed into the screws. Alternatively, threaded pins can be attached to the underside of the cover 5, for example by welding, are screwed onto the corresponding sleeves. By appropriate screwing or unscrewing the screws from the respective sleeve, or the sleeve relative to the threaded pin, the height of the support member 25 can be changed.

As in particular from FIG. 5 As can be seen, further securing means 27 are provided in the present embodiment, which are designed such that the cover 5 is held after the release of the fastening means 6 in a defined open position. In this way it is prevented that the cover 5 falls uncontrollably after loosening the fastener 6 on the Bodenbefliesung. The securing means 27 preferably comprise an elastic retaining tab 28 which is fixedly attached to the back of the cover 5, and a retaining pin 29 which is fixed to the top 9 of the gutter body 3. As in particular from FIG. 6 As can be seen, the retaining tab 28 is channel-shaped in cross-section, so that the retaining pin 29 is guided laterally in the retaining tab 28. In the end, the Retaining tab an opening 30, in which the retaining pin 29 snaps when opening the cover plate 5. For complete removal of the cover plate 5 from the channel body 3 then the elastic retaining tab 28 must be pressed down so that it releases the retaining pin 29. Now, the cover plate 5 can be removed from the gutter body 3.

The FIGS. 7 and 8 show a shower channel arrangement according to the invention in a further embodiment in cross section. The shower channel arrangement largely corresponds to that according to FIG. 1 , so that reference is made to the above description in terms of similarities. There are the same or corresponding components with the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1 Mistake. In the following, particular attention is paid to the differences of the present embodiment.

The peculiarity of the present embodiment is that the fastening means 6 in addition to the first and second fastening part 22, 23 comprise a pivot bearing 32, by means of which the cover plate 5 is pivotally mounted relative to the channel body 3. As in the above embodiment, the fastening means, in this case also comprise a snap mechanism, for example a magnetic catch, a Druckmagnetschnäpper or a ball catch. The pivot bearing 32 is disposed below a horizontal center plane through the opening 4, so that the cover plate 5 swings open with dissolved mounting member 22 down. In the swung-open state, the drain 10 or the gutter is accessible. If the opening thus formed is not large enough, the cover plate 5 can be completely removed by releasing the pivot bearing 32 of the gutter body 3.

It can be seen that in the present embodiment, the recessed portion of the bottom 7 is set back from the free end of the top 9. This results between the lower edge of the cover plate 5 and the collar 19, a vertical gap 31. In other words, the cover plate 5 is viewed in cross section in the region of the collar 19 and flush with the free edge of the top 9 and the side walls 11, 12 off. The height of the cover plate 5 and thus the height of the gap 31 is chosen so that even in tiled condition of the bottom area remains a sufficiently large residual gap to the flow of shower water. This can be in particular between 3 mm and 5 mm.

The FIGS. 9 and 10 show a shower channel arrangement according to the invention in a further embodiment in cross section. The shower channel arrangement largely corresponds to that according to the FIGS. 7 or 8, so that in terms of the similarities to the above description, and thus to the description of FIG. 1 , Reference is made. There are the same or corresponding components with the same reference numerals as in the above figures. In the following, the particular features of the present embodiment will be discussed.

In contrast to the embodiment according to the FIGS. 7 and 8, the pivot bearings 32 are arranged in the present embodiment above the horizontal center plane through the opening 4, so that the cover plate 5 swings upwards. In the swung-open state, the drain 10 or the gutter is accessible for maintenance or cleaning purposes. If the opening formed in the swung-open state is not sufficiently large, the cover plate 5 can also be completely removed from the channel body 3 by releasing the pivot bearing 32. Additional fasteners, such as the fasteners 22, 23 in the FIGS. 7 or 8, are presently not required, since the cover plate 5 due to the storage in the upper region of the channel body 3 is hanging vertically downwards. For vertical alignment of the cover plate 5 may optionally be provided with a support surface 21, a support body. The support body is preferably designed so that the position of the support surface 21 are varied, against which the cover plate 5 is supported in the lower region of the opening 4. In this way, the support plate 5 can be aligned vertically in alignment with the Wandbefliesung exactly.

The FIGS. 11 and 12 show a shower channel arrangement according to the invention in a further embodiment in cross section. The shower channel arrangement corresponds in many parts to those according to the FIGS. 7 or 8, so that in terms of the similarities to the above description, and thus to the description of FIG. 1 , Reference is made. They are the same or corresponding components provided with the same reference numerals as in the above figures. In the following, the particular features of the present embodiment will be discussed.

In the present embodiment, the fastening means 6 are designed positively, in particular so that the cover plate 5 can be inserted laterally into the gutter body 3. For this purpose, the fastening means 6 each comprise a first fastening part 22 which is fixedly connected to the gutter body 3, and a second fastening part 23 which is fixedly connected to the cover plate 5. In this case, the second fastening part 23 is preferably an edge portion of the cover plate 5. For connecting the fastening parts 22, 23 with the channel body 3 and the cover plate 5, for example, welding or screws come into question. The first and second fastening parts 22, 23 cooperate in the manner of a plug connection. For this purpose, one of the two fastening parts forms an opening into which the other of the two fastening parts engages positively with a web. It can be seen that in the present case at least three fastening means 6 are provided, one each in the region of the side walls 11, 12 and at least one in the region of the upper bottom 9.

All of the aforementioned embodiments have as a common feature that the fastening means for attaching the cover plate 5 to the gutter body 3, in the closed state of the cover plate 5, are completely disposed within the gutter body 3. In this way, it is achieved in an advantageous manner that the cover plate 5 is mounted flush with the shower wall in the closed state. As a result, an attractive appearance with a continuous side wall, without projections, is achieved. It is only a small gap along the cover plate 5 visible through which the shower water can drain into the gutter body 3.
