Definitions
- the invention relates to a musical instrument for generating at least one sound using at least one sound plate, which has vibration-neutral surfaces.
- So-called plate bells are known, in which one or several rectangular metal plates with the help of cords in suspended vertically from a frame and with mallet or Hammer to be made to sound.
- the holes for The cords are located on vibration-neutral Dots on the diagonals of the bars (usually a fifth of the diagonal of the two upper corners removed). The sound plate is hung up that the broadside is in the horizontal.
- a sound plate that is hung at these points generates longitudinal, transverse and diagonal vibrations when struck, i.e. due to the different aspect ratios correspondingly different frequencies arise, which, however, have a high noise component.
- FR-A-1 556 799 describes an electromagnetic especially known electric bell, in which by means of an electric motor two oscillating plates in Vibration are offset.
- the vibrating plates are cantilevered.
- US 3 102 510 is a gong for a bell shown, in the housing of individual square plates are formed or shaped via slots. This individual plates can be vibrated.
- the present invention is based on the object To create musical instrument of the type mentioned above which also the advantages (loud sound without resonator, big Tonal range), but also an extreme pure sound can be produced, and both in is playable horizontally as well as in a vertical position.
- the sound plate at least in the area of a vibration-neutral surface a bracket is connected and at least one Deformation, in particular has a slot.
- a relatively rigid fixation takes place by means of the holder the sound plate in particular in horizontal or inclined Location, so that a recording of the sound plate better and is possible faster.
- the musician can during of play moving freely in space and doing its steps use as a meter, what in early musical education of children is very important.
- a variety of tuned sound bars can be of any arrangement be connected together, for example to a chromatic Instrument with piano arrangement.
- the holder is preferably at least at the connection point with the sound plate made of a foam.
- the foam should have at least one strength that on the one hand Swinging the sound plate doesn't bother, at least the Holds the sound plate in a desired position.
- the simplicity half of the foam has a pocket or one Slot in which the sound plate is inserted.
- the sound plate can be glued or fixed in some other way become.
- the sound plate should have indentations, in particular have slits. In individual cases one slit may suffice. However, are preferred two slits, being between the two slits a tongue is formed on the bracket is attached. This creates a clear distinction between active and passive vibration surfaces, which leads to leads to an extension of the decay time. At the same time the sound plate is fine tuned.
- the sound plate roughly square.
- a square sound plate, those struck in the center and in the middle of any Side is held forms on four side centers vibration-neutral surfaces (passive surfaces), which are suitable for connection to a bracket.
- the one with such a held sound plate produced very pure Tone sounds as a so-called harmonic tone.
- the genesis of a frequency mix, as is the case with a sound plate conventional suspension (vibration-neutral surfaces on the diagonal) would be the case, this is deliberately prevented.
- a square sound plate with passive surfaces on the sides forms a vibration node line, which the passive Connects surfaces in the form of a square.
- the passive areas must be enlarged become. This is done by the double mentioned above Slit on each side, in the direction of the opposite side.
- the enlarged ones thus obtained Passive surfaces in the form of tongues are suitable for the Inclusion of mounts, which in turn the sound plate connect with a handle or a fixed frame can, as described below.
- a square sound plate - without loss of sound quality uses the shape of a rectangle be, with a rectangular sound plate two Vibration node lines in the form of uniform arches arise, which each in the third of the two broad sides end up as vibration-neutral surfaces. On these surfaces the sound plate is provided with a holder, with which a bilateral and thus horizontal as well as vertical Bracket of the sound plate is made possible.
- the present sound plates according to the invention can easy and cheap to manufacture. For example several coherent sound plates by milling, Saw or punch the plate contours into a larger metal sheet are produced, which is a multi-tone overall Surrender instrument. This happens like a slit drum, their tongues also with the same manufacturing technology getting produced.
- an essential part of the present invention relates also on the bracket.
- this holder consists of a handle and a handle head.
- the handle part can be in any Carriers are used so that the sound plate in a desired location is supported.
- the handle part and handle head made in one piece from a foam. This must however, use a foam that is sufficient Has strength to the sound plate in the desired Hold location. For this reason, it offers itself on, the grip part at least partially on the surface harden.
- Another option is to remove the handle part a harder material, such as plastic, Wood, cork, metal or the like to manufacture and this Then grip part with the grip head made of foam connect. It is within the scope of the invention that this connection is fixed or also releasable. In the latter case the grip head is then designed as an interchangeable head.
- a harder material such as plastic, Wood, cork, metal or the like
- a handle part can also be designed so that with it several grip heads with sound plates for the production of different Tones are connected.
- brackets which for example a square sound plate on all four Hold sides.
- this is only intended to be an exemplary embodiment represent.
- the arrangement of a plurality of is also possible Sound bars in a frame, the sound bars with connected to the frame and underneath with foam holders are.
- the sound plates can also preferably be made from molded in one piece from a metal strip and with one permanent grid strips or through each other left connecting tongues made accordingly become. Because these connecting tongues are neutral in sound Area, the sound bars can still be free swing. There are many more options conceivable.
