Description
Die Duplexrückführung wird auf Führungsschienen montiert, die es der Bedienperson erlauben das komplette Aggregat mit wenigen einfachen Handgriffen aus der Arbeitsposition im Drucker auszubauen. Dazu ist kein Werkzeug erforderlich. Die mechanische Schnittstelle ist so gestaltet, daß sich das Aggregat beim Wiedereinsetzen in den Drucker automatisch zentriert und in seiner Arbeitsposition fixiert. Die elektrische Schnittstelle ist so gestaltet, daß die Steckverbindung beim Wiedereinsetzen in den Drucker automatisch wiederhergestellt wird.

Claims (13)
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung zum Bedrucken von bandförmigen Aufzeichnungsträgern (10, 10/1, 10/2) unterschiedlicher Bandbreite miteinem eine nutzbare Breite von mindestens der doppelten Bandbreite eines schmalen Aufzeichnungsträgers (10) aufweisenden elektrografischen Druckmodul, das eine Tonerbilder erzeugende Einrichtung (11) und eine Fixierstation (18) mit einem Papieraustrittskanal enthält, über den die Aufzeichnungsträger (10, 10/1, 10/2, 10/3) das Druckmodul verlassen, sowie einen Zuführkanal, um Aufzeichnungsträger (10, 10/1, 10/2, 10/3) unterschiedlicher Bandbreite von einem internen und/oder externen Vorratsbereich (23/1, 23/2) der Tonerbilder erzeugenden Einrichtung (11) zuzuführen;einem mit dem Papieraustrittskanal über einen Rückführkanal (29) und mit dem Zuführkanal koppelbaren Wendemodul (28), das auswechselbar eine im Druckmodul befestigte, selbständige Baueinheit ist, wobeiin einem ersten Betriebszustand der Druckeinrichtung zum beidseitigen Bedrucken des schmalen Aufzeichnungsträgers (10) der Aufzeichnungsträger (10) zum Bedrucken der Frontseite ausgehend von dem Vorratsbereich (23/1, 23/2) das Druckmodul bis zum Papieraustrittskanal der Fixierstation (18) durchläuft und von dort dann zum Bedrucken der Rückseite, über den Rückführkanal (29) und über das Wendemodul (28) gewendet, erneut dem Druckmodul zugeführt und über den Papieraustrittskanal der Fixierstation (18) ausgegeben wird undin einem zweiten Betriebszustand der Druckeinrichtung zum einseitigen Bedrucken eines einzelnen breiten oder parallelen Bedrucken mehrerer schmaler Aufzeichnungsträger (10/1, 10/2, 10/3), der oder die Aufzeichnungsträger (10/1, 10/2, 10/3) ausgehend von dem Vorratsbereich (23/1, 23/2) allein das Druckmodul durchlaufen und über den Papieraustrittskanal ausgegeben werden.
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung nach Anspruch 1 mit einem den Rückführkanal (29) enthaltenden, Papiertransportelemente aufweisenden Rückführungsmodul für den schmalen Aufzeichnungsträger (10), das als auswechselbar im Druckmodul befestigbare, selbständige Baueinheit aufgebaut ist.
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2 mit das Wendemodul (28) und/oder bei Rückbeziehung auf Anspruch 2 das Rückführungsmodul in Aufnahmebereichen (29, 23/1) des Druckmoduls austauschbar aufnehmenden Koppelungseinrichtungen mit mechanischen und/oder elektrischen Kopplungsmitteln (55, 84, 45, 45/1, 86, 86/1).
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung nach Anspruch 3 mit einer Koppelungseinrichtung die eine die Module herausziehbar aufnehmende Verschiebeeinrichtung (55, 84) aufweist.
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 3 oder 4 mit einer Koppelungseinrichtung, die eine die Module in dem zugehörigen Aufnahmebereich des Druckmoduls in einer Arbeitsposition positionierende Zentriereinrichtung (45, 55, 85, 86) aufweist.
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 5 miteinem unterhalb des Papieraustrittskanals der Fixierstation (18) angeordneten Aufnahmebereich für das Rückführungsmodul sowieeiner Zuführeinrichtung (21) zu einer internen oder externen Ablageeinrichtung (22/1, 22/2) für die Aufzeichnungsträger (10, 10/1, 10/2, 10/3), die bis in den Bereich des Papieraustrittskanals oder, bei vorhandenem Rückführungsmodul, bis in den Bereich eines dem Rückführungsmodul zugeordneten Ausgabekanals (81, 91) verschieblich ausgebildet ist.
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6 mit einem internen Vorratsbereich (22/1), der einen Aufnahmebereich für das Wendemodul (28) aufweist.
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7 mit einer Überwachungseinrichtung, die über elektrische Sensormittel (45/1, 86/1) das Vorhandensein bzw. Fehlen eines Moduls erfaßt und in Abhängigkeit davon an ein Gerätefunktionen (92) der Druckeinrichtung steuerndes Steuerungssystem (DC) ein Signal liefert.
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8 mit einem Wendemodul (28), das eine automatische Einfädeleinrichtung für den schmalen Aufzeichnungsträger (10) aufweist.
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung nach Anspruch 9 mit einem Wendemodul (28) miteinem Papiereinlaufkanal (30) und einem Papierauslaufkanal (31), die nebeneinander angeordnet sind;einer den über den Papiereinlaufkanal (30) zugeführten Aufzeichnungsträger (10) seitlich umlenkenden ersten Schrägumlenkvorrichtung (32);einer der ersten Schrägumlenkvorrichtung (32) in Papiertransportrichtung nachgeordneten ersten Umkehreinrichtung (34) zur Rückführung des Aufzeichnungsträgers (10) hinter den Papierkanälen bis in den Bereich einer etwa parallel zur ersten Umkehreinrichtung (34) angeordneten, den Aufzeichnungsträger (10) erneut umkehrenden zweiten Umkehreinrichtung (36);einer der zweiten Umkehreinrichtung (36) nachgeordneten, den Aufzeichnungsträger (10) in den Papierauslaufkanal (31) umlenkenden zweiten Schrägumlenkvorrichtung (37) undeiner Einfädeleinrichtung für den Aufzeichnungsträger (10) mit einem um die Umkehreinrichtungen (34, 36) geführten motorisch angetriebenen Greifelement (46), das Greifmittel (49) für den Aufzeichnungsträgeranfang aufweist, wobei zum Einfädeln in die Wendeeinrichtung der Aufzeichnungsträgeranfang im Bereich der ersten Schrägumlenkvorrichtung (32) erfaßt und über die Umkehreinrichtungen (34, 36) und die zweite Schrägumlenkvorrichtung (37) bis in den Bereich des Papierauslaufkanales (31) transportiert wird.
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, wobei der Rückführkanal (29) aufweist:ein eingangsseitiges motorisch angetriebenes Zugrollenpaar (57) mit einer vorgelagerten Zentriereinrichtung (79) für den schmalen Aufzeichnungsträger (10),ein ausgangsseitiges motorisch angetriebenes Zugrollenpaar (61) mit einer Transportrolle (62) und einer Andruckrolle (64), die relativ zueinander verschieblich gelagert sind undeinem zwischen den Zugrollenpaaren (57, 61) angeordneten Verbindungskanal (65), dessen Kanalweite so bemessen ist, daß ein Ausknicken des Aufzeichnungsträgers (10) weitgehend verhindert wird.
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung nach Anspruch 11 miteiner dem eingangsseitigen Zugrollenpaar (57) in Aufzeichnungsträgertransportrichtung nachgeordneten Weiche (80) mit einer ersten Betriebsstellung, in der der schmale Aufzeichnungsträger (10) zum Bedrucken der Rückseite in den Verbindungskanal (65) geleitet wird undmit einer zweiten Betriebsstellung, in der ein nur frontseitig bedruckter Aufzeichnungsträger (10/1, 10/2, 10/3) in einen Ausgabekanal (81) geleitet wird.
- Multifunktionale Druckeinrichtung nach Anspruch 12 miteinem eingangsseitigen Zugrollenpaar (57) mit einer Transportrolle (58) und einer Andruckrolle (60), die relativ zueinander verschieblich gelagert sind, so daß sich im geöffneten Verschiebezustand zwischen den Rollen (58, 60) ein Durchgangskanal für die nur einseitig bedruckten Aufzeichnungsträger bildet (10/1, 10/2, 10/3).
