Definitions
- the invention relates to a shoe press device of the type according to DE43 19 323 A1.
- the following are disclosed there Features of claim 1:
- the shoe press device is used for treatment (e.g. dewatering) a running web (e.g. paper or cardboard web). It extends over the entire maximum web width.
- a flexible circumferential press jacket is by means of a Press shoe, which is supported on a stationary support body, can be pressed against a counterpressure element (e.g. counter roller). Between the support body and the press shoe are along their Longitudinal extension of several supporting elements that generate the pressing force arranged; these are included individually or in groups different pressures can be applied.
- the support elements preferably formed as ring elements, their interiors can be connected to a pressure medium source (as also known from DE'323).
- the main aim of the publication mentioned is to achieve a finely adjustable edge relief and by simply switching the pressure medium pressure on or off in individual support elements. This is supposed to Control engineering effort can be reduced, the required would be stepless if the pressure in individual support elements should be adjustable.
- This goal in DE'323 along the length of the press shoe two or three rows of relatively small support elements are provided.
- this has the disadvantage that overall an enormous high number of support elements is required, about 10-20 Pieces per meter of web width. Even with rational production the effort for this is considerable.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of a pressing device to create the - compared to the known Construction - can be produced with less effort and yet offers the possibility of distributing the press force across the web width to vary as desired.
- a finely adjustable edge relief to be possible.
- all main support elements are fed in and out same main pressure source.
- the edge support elements there are many different ways which are explained below.
- On at least one of the the two edge ends of the edge support elements are at least a pressure reducing valve or via a simple OPEN-CLOSE valve the main pressure source connected.
- at least a separate edge pressure source is provided, which the Edge support elements independent of the main support elements Pressure medium supplied.
- any pressure values can be set, which are also higher can than the pressure in the main support elements.
- edge support elements or a part the same at times by means of a switching device Main pressure source or temporarily to an additional marginal pressure source can be connected.
- edge support elements and their control need not necessarily be symmetrical, i.e. evenly at the two roller ends. Rather, they are also asymmetrical Arrangements and control devices conceivable. This applies, for example, if the web to be treated is intermittent has a smaller web width compared to that maximum web width. It is advantageous if the narrower web is flush with one of the two edges of the maximum Web width runs through the pressing device, so that in particular the facilities used to thread the web, which are usually located in the driver’s edge zone, can continue to be used.
- the Counter roll is a deflection adjusting roll
- the roll shell also by means of a series of support elements on one stationary support body is supported. These support elements are preferably fed from the same pressure source as the Support elements of the shoe press device.
- the deflection adjustment roller can also be individually controlled Have edge support members that are smaller than that (remaining) main support elements. In a preferred design but it only has relatively large main support elements, that are inexpensive to manufacture.
- the deflection adjustment roller has only relative large main support elements, the shoe press device (also called “shoe press roll"), however, main support elements and two in each edge zone one behind the other in the direction of web travel arranged and relatively small edge support elements. All support elements are designed as ring elements, with the main support elements the shoe press and those of Deflection adjustment roller have the same diameter.
- the Number of main support elements in the shoe press can be one less than in the deflection adjustment roller, so that - in one view of the entire pressing device - A zigzag arrangement of the main support elements available is.
- Figure 1 is a longitudinal section by a complete press device including a shoe press device and a deflection adjustment roller.
- the figure 2 is a cross section therefor.
- Figures 3 to 6 show schematically different combinations of main and edge support elements.
- FIG. 7 shows a variant of FIG. 1.
- Figure 1 is a shoe press device (or “shoe press roll”) totaled 10; this forms together with a deflection adjustment roller 20 arranged at the top (in web direction) extended press nip.
- a deflection adjustment roller 20 arranged at the top (in web direction) extended press nip.
- one approaches perpendicular to the drawing plane) draining paper web, the width of which is, for example, dimension B having. See paper web 9 and wet felt 8 in FIG. 2.
- the shoe press device comprises a flexible circumferential Press jacket 11 and one extending over the web width Press shoe 12. This is with the help of several support elements 13, 14 supported on a stationary support body 15, which on both Ends in machine frames 16 rests.
- the support elements are shown only schematically in the drawing. In detail they are preferably according to patent application No. 195 14 143.3 from April 15, 1995. Notwithstanding Fig. 1, the Counter roll 20 also below the shoe press device 10 to be ordered.
- the shoe press device 10 similar to that shown in FIG. 3, a single row of main support elements 13, for example six in number. There are also at each roller end two arranged one behind the other in the direction of web travel much smaller edge support elements 14 are provided, which are preferably are such that the sum of their supporting forces as exactly as possible equal to half the support force of one Main support member 13 is.
- the deflection adjustment roller 20 has a metallic roller shell 21, the bearing necks and roller bearings in bearing blocks 22 rests. In the same pedestals there is also a stationary one Supported yoke 25. Between the yoke 25 and the roller jacket 21 a single row of support elements 23 is provided which the support elements 13, 14 of the shoe pressing device directly opposite. The number of support elements 23 is in the deflection adjusting roller 20 by one higher than in the Shoe pressing device 10; they are relative by half a division to which the shoe press is arranged offset.
- the support elements 13, 14 and 23 are supplied via Pressure fluid lines 19 and 29, which preferably consist of a common pressure medium source 30 fed with hydraulic fluid become.
- a pressure reducing valve can be located in one of the lines 19 or 29 28 may be provided, e.g. B. if necessary balance the weight of the roll shell 21.
- Figure 3 shows the line system for pressure medium supply the support elements 13 and 14 of the shoe press unit 10.
- the pump 30 and the pressure medium lines 19 and 29 as well as to the main support elements 13 and to the edge support elements 14 leading branch lines.
- the pressure in the the latter can be compared with the help of pressure reducing valves 18 the pressure in line 19, if necessary, be lowered.
- Edge area can be narrowed in that not only two, but three in a row in the direction of web travel even smaller edge support elements 14a can be provided.
- the edge zones are different from Figure 1 and 3, different widths. So according to example 5 shows an additional row at one of the two roller ends provided by two edge support elements 14b (accordingly the entire press device is longer). Thereby you can also choose to process slightly wider webs. There is an additional source of pressure medium for the edge support elements 31 provided that (if necessary) a higher or can deliver a lower pressure than the pressure medium source 30. Pressure control valves 32, 33, an OPEN-CLOSE valve 34 and a switch valve 35 allow that in the edge support elements to control the prevailing pressures as desired.
- the system according to FIG. 6 has the same overall length as that of Figure 3.
- one of the main support members 13 is replaced by a group of four edge support members 14c.
- the latter are preferably dimensioned such that the sum of their supporting forces is approximately the same as the support force of a main support element 13.
- Each row of edge supports is over an OPEN-CLOSE valve 36 can be switched on or off by one high to a relatively low pressure (the atmospheric pressure can be switchable. This is the easiest way around the edge zones of the press shoe with different web widths 12 either with full pressure or (within the flexibility of the press shoe 12) to relieve.
- Support elements 23 of the counter roller 20 are the same size as the number of the main support elements 13 of the shoe press roll 10 the arrangement chosen here such that the support elements 13 and 23 face each other in pairs.
- the counter roller 20 could against the edge support members 14 of the shoe press roll 10 also have edge support elements. These are however omitted in the example shown.
