Abstract

The railway switching points comprise a sleeper (10) having a long body (11) with a rectangular or trapezoidal cross section. Its lower face (12) is supported on the ballast and the upper face (13) supports a stock rail (CA) and rail point (RA). The upper face has a central longitudinal groove (14) along its length. Claims (13)

  1.   7. Device according to claim 6, comprising at least one slave motor (112) which has two opposite outputs and is secured to the end of a sleeper which is shortened to form a block, characterised in that the motor (112) is secured between two blocks.
  8. Operating device according to claim 6, comprising at least one stroke-reducing mechanism secured to a sleeper (10), characterised in that the mechanism is placed in a casing at the end of the sleeper (10).
  9. Operating device according to claim 8, comprising at least one connecting rod, characterised in that the rod is arranged in a trough provided with a lid.
  10. Operating device according to any one of claims 1 to 9, comprising at least one latch of the locking and signalling device (VCC type), characterised in that the "C" (131)of the latch has an offset which positions the rod axis above the sleeper (10).
  11. Operating device according to claim 10, characterised in that the frame (132) of the latch is secured indirectly to the sleeper (10).
  12. Operating device according to any one of claims 1 to 11, comprising at least one detector of the PAULVE type, characterised in that the controller and its conductive arm (135) are arranged above the sleeper (10).
  13. Operating device according to claim 12, characterised in that the conductive arm (135) of the controller moves in the groove (14) of the sleeper (10).
