In Fig. 1 ist ein Druckwerk einer Mehrfarben-Rotationsdruckmaschine
schematisch dargestellt. Es besteht im Wesentlichen aus einem
Druckzylinder 1, dem in Bogenlaufrichtung eine Transfertrommel 3
vorgeordnet ist. In an sich bekannter Weise ist dem Druckzylinder 1
ein Gummituchzylinder 4 benachbart, der mit einem Plattenzylinder 5
in Kontakt steht. Der Plattenzylinder 5 besitzt ein Feuchtwerk und
ein Farbwerk, welche hier nicht gezeigt sind. Dem Gummituchzylinder
4 und dem Druckzylinder 1 ist je eine Waschvorrichtung 2 zugeordnet.
Die Waschvorrichtung 2 erstreckt sich über die jeweilige
Breite der Zylinder 1, 4 und besteht im Wesentlichen aus einem
Gehäuse, welches eine Waschwalze, z.B. eine Waschbürste drehbar
aufnimmt. Im Gehäuse sind zur gesteuerten Zufuhr von Waschmittel
und Wasser Sprüheinrichtungen angeordnet. Die Sprüheinrichtungen
sind schaltungstechnisch mit einer Steuerung gekoppelt. Diese
Steuerung ist wiederum schaltungstechnisch mit einer Zeitermittlung
und einem Bogenzähler gekoppelt. Die Waschwalze besitzt einen
separaten Antrieb und steht mit einem Rakel ständig im Eingriff. Am
tiefsten Punkt des Gehäuses ist ein Ablauf für das Fluid aus
Waschmittel und Wasser vorgesehen. Die Waschvorrichtung 2 besitzt
zum An- und Abstellen sowie zum Abheben der Vorrichtung von einem
Zylinderkanal bzw. von einer Greiferbrücke zwei gestellseitig
angelenkte Arbeitszylinder. Als Waschmittel werden vorzugsweise

Normalerweise befindet sich jede Waschvorrichtung 2 in abgestellter

ist dazu analog. Zu Beginn eines Waschvorganges wird von der
elektronischen Steuerung der Zeitermittler und der Bogenzähler
abgefragt. Der Zeitermittler gibt die Zeit vom vorangegangenen
Waschvorgang an. Der Bogenzähler gibt die Anzahl der seit dem
vorangegangenen Waschvorgang bedruckten Bogen an. Beide Werte
werden von der Steuerung verarbeitet und dementsprechend wird die
erforderliche Menge an Waschmittel und Wasser zum Vorfeuchten der
Waschvorrichtung 2 zugeführt. Über das Kriterium der Zeit läßt sich
der Grad der Verdunstung von Waschmittel und Wasser aus der Waschvorrichtung
2 beurteilen und somit auch der Feuchtigkeitsgrad der
Waschwalze. Ist die zeitliche Differenz zwischen letztem
Waschvorgang und dem beginnenden Waschvorgang relativ groß, so wird
die Waschvorrichtung 2, hier die Waschwalze, mit mehr Waschmittel
und Wasser vorgefeuchtet. Ist die zeitliche Differenz zwischen
letztem Waschvorgang und dem beginnenden Waschvorgang kleiner, so
wird die Waschvorrichtung 2, hier die Waschwalze, mit weniger
Waschmittel und Wasser vorgefeuchtet. Über das Kriterium der
Bogenanzahl läßt sich der Grad der Verschmutzung des jeweils zu
reinigen Zylinders, hier des Gummituchzylinders 4, beurteilen. Ist
die Anzahl an bedruckten Bogen hoch, so wird der Ablauf des festgelegten
Waschvorganges mehrfach wiederholt. Ist die Anzahl an
bedruckten Bogen gering, z.B. beim Einrichten, so wird ein zeitlich
kürzerer Waschvorgang durchgeführt. Die Steuerung kann auch nur
den
Zeitermittler zu Beginn eines Waschvorganges zwecks Steuerung der
Waschmittel- und Wasserzuführung abfragen.
Jeder Waschvorgang
beginnt somit stets mit einem gleichen Feuchtigkeitsgehalt
der Waschwalze bei Abfrage des Zeitermittlers. Der Waschmittel- und
Wasserverbrauch kann damit reduziert werden und die Gefahr des
trockenen Anlaufens der Waschvorrichtung bei Anstellung an einen
