  • the invention relates to a furniture lock or a lock using of a platelet cylinder housing body, in particular on its outside is cylindrical, as an adapter housing.
  • Furniture locks and locks are known in a variety of designs.
  • such lock designs have the disadvantage that, for example, the adapter is a special construction and the furniture maker must decide before the manufacture of the piece of furniture which lock he wants to use in the finished piece of furniture, since he also has to decide which hole and in what height and For which locking system he has to drill in a door, for example (catalog from Hekna, Velbert; catalog from Huwil, Ruppichteroth; catalog from Heim + motechnisch GmbH, Ruppichteroth).
  • the furniture lock For cylinder locks, the furniture lock must be used to change the locks be dismantled; only then can the pin cylinder be changed.
  • Another known lock construction shows, for example, cylinder extensions, in which additional bolt drive elements are installed. This are special components, and the installation of these extensions can only before installing the locks or after removing the locks on the door and the further disassembly of individual lock parts made on the castle itself be (DE 37 07 313).
  • DE-A-24 35 833 relates to a right / left usable Espagnolette lock with a lock case that can be placed on the door leaf, a slide bolt mounted in it, which drives the rotating rod, and with one rotatably mounted in the bottom and lid of the lock case
