  • the focus of the condensing lens 21 is adjusted. More specifically, when the condensing lens 21 is in focus, the peak profile presents the lowest half-width. Based on the half-width of the peak of the reflected light of either one of the two marker laser lights, the automatic focus mechanism 108 is driven to adjust the focus of the condensing lens 21. Accordingly, provision is made such that, when measuring the actual elongation by measuring the scattering light of the laser light from the irradiation optical system 1, there is not exerted an influence of a back-and-forth movement of the specimen W even though the measuring laser light is not parallel light. Further, the distance between the condensing lens 21 and the surface of the specimen W can be calculated from the focus information.
  • the accurate magnification of an scattering light image can advantageously be obtained.
  • the initial distance between the gage points on the specimen W is obtained from (i) the distance between the gage points on the one-dimensional image sensor 22 at the time when the measurement starts, and (ii) the magnification thus obtained.
  • the filter selecting driver 105 is driven to switch the band pass filter to the band pass filter 104 for 780 nm and the measurement is started.

  • the precision of the marker laser light irradiation positions with the movement of the observation points is not required to be particularly accurate in that these markers are put merely for informing the operator of the movement situations of the observation points.
  • the initial observation points there may also be proposed the following method with the use of technique of (i) obtaining the magnification by calculating, from the focus information, the distance between the condensing lens 21 and the surface of the specimen W and (ii) obtaining, based on the magnification thus obtained, the initial gage-point distance on the specimen W. That is, the operator sets the gage-point distance and only one of the two observation points (gage points) by irradiating a marker laser light. Then, the operating unit 4 automatically sets the other observation point, to which a marker laser light is then irradiated.
  • a specimen W under test is illuminated with laser light by an irradiation optical system 1.
  • the scattered light is focussed in an image sensor 22 having, e.g. 2000 channels.
  • An initial setting means 3 allows the selection of two spaced observation points each comprising a number of the channels and corresponding to zones A1 and A2 of the specimen.
  • Movement calculating units 41 and 42 receive the data from the selected channels from a memory 7 and calculate cross-correlation functions between the initial data and subsequent data which result from movement of the specimen under stress.
  • the outputs of units 41 and 42 are supplied to an elongation calculating unit 45 and to channel shift units 43 and 44 respectively.
  • the extensometer simulates the mechanical testing operation of measuring the change in the distance between two marks on the specimen.

Claims (12)

  1. Dehnungsmessverfahren, umfassend die folgenden Schritte:
    Strahlen von Laserlicht auf die Oberfläche einer Probe über eine vorbestimmte Länge davon in der zu messenden Dehnungsrichtung;
    photoelektrisches Umwandeln desjenigen Streulichtes des genannten Laserlichtes, das von der genannten Probenoberfläche reflektiert wurde, um so Fleckenmusterdaten zu erhalten;
    anfängliches Einstellen, gemäß Auswahl aus genannten Fleckenmusterdaten, der Daten von zwei Zonen auf der genannten Probe, die um einen vorbestimmten Abstand in der genannten Dehnungsrichtung voneinander getrennt sind, wobei die genannten Daten als Beobachtungspunktdaten eingestellt werden;
    Berechnen, anhand der genannten Beobachtungspunktdaten, der Menge an Bewegung der Fleckenmuster von den genannten beiden Zonen auf der genannten Probe;
    Verschieben, in der Bewegungsrichtung der genannten Fleckenmuster, der als Beobachtungspunkt-Datenquellen dienenden Zonen immer dann, wenn die Berechnungsergebnisse der genannten Bewegungsbeträge einen vorbestimmten Betrag erreichen; und Berechnen der Dehnung der genannten Probe zwischen den genannten anfänglich eingestellten beiden Zonen auf der Basis (i) der Verschiebungsbeträge der genannten Beobachtungspunkt-Datenquellen und (ii) der genannten Fleckenmusterbewegungsbeträge, die mit Hilfe der genannten Beobachtungspunktdaten errechnet wurden.
  2. Kontaktfreies Laserdehnungsmessgerät, umfassend:
    ein optisches Strahlungssystem zum Strahlen von Laserlicht auf die Oberfläche einer Probe über eine vorbestimmte Länge davon in der zu messenden Dehnungsrichtung;
    ein Streulichterfassungsmittel mit einer Mehrzahl von Kanälen zum Empfangen desjenigen Streulichtes des genannten Laserlichtes, das von der genannten Probe reflektiert wird, um so Fleckenmusterdaten zu erhalten;
    Einstellmittel zum anfänglichen Einstellen, anhand von Ausgangsdaten von dem genannten Streulichterfassungsmittel, zweier Daten aus einer Mehrzahl von Kanälen in Bezug auf das Streulicht von zwei Zonen auf der genannten Probe, die um einen vorbestimmten Abstand in der genannten Dehnungsrichtung voneinander getrennt sind, wobei die genannten beiden Daten als zwei Beobachtungspunktdaten eingestellt werden;
    Bewegungsbetrag-Berechnungsmittel zum Berechnen, anhand der genannten beiden Beobachtungspunktdaten, der Bewegungsbeträge der Fleckenmuster von den genannten beiden Zonen auf der genannten Probe;
    ein Kanalverschiebungssteuermittel zum Verschieben der Kanäle, die als Beobachtungspunkt-Datenquellen verwendet werden sollen, in Fleckenmusterbewegungsrichtung gemäß den genannten Bewegungsbeträgen, die mit dem genannten Bewegungsbetrag-Berechnungsmittel errechnet wurden, jedesmal dann, wenn die genannten Bewegungsbeträge einen vorbestimmten Betrag erreichen; und
    Dehnungsberechnungsmittel zum Berechnen der Dehnung der genannten Probe zwischen den genannten beiden Zonen, die anfänglich mit dem genannten Einstellmittel eingestellt wurden, auf der Basis (i) des Betrages, um den die Kanäle, die sich auf die genannten beiden Beobachtungspunktdaten beziehen, mit dem genannten Kanalverschiebungssteuermittel verschoben wurden, und (ii) der genannten Bewegungsbeträge von Fleckenmustern von den genannten beiden Zonen, errechnet mit dem genannten Bewegungsbetrag-Berechnungsmittel.
  3. Kontaktfreies Laserdehnungsmessgerät nach Anspruch 2, bei dem das genannte Streulichterfassungsmittel einen Bildsensor mit einer Mehrzahl von Kanälen und eine Kondensorlinse zum Erzeugen eines Bildes von Streulicht auf der Lichtempfangsfläche des genannten Bildsensors umfasst.
  4. Kontaktfreies Laserdehnungsmessgerät nach Anspruch 3, bei dem Streulicht von der Laserlichtstrahlungszone räumlich in Abschnitte aufgeteilt von einer Mehrzahl von Sätzen von Kondensorlinsen und Bildsensoren empfangen wird, die'in Dehnungsmessrichtung angeordnet sind.
  5. Kontaktfreies Laserdehnungsmessgerät nach Anspruch 2, bei dem das genannte optische Strahlungssystem folgendes umfasst: einen Halbleiterlaser, eine Kollimatorlinse zum Umwandeln von Licht, das von dem genannten Halbleiterlaser zugeführt wird, in einen parallelen Lichtfluss; und einen Strahlaufweiter mit zwei zylindrischen Linsen zum eindimensionalen Aufweiten von Laserlicht, das durch die genannte Kollimatorlinse passiert ist.
  6. Kontaktfreies Laserdehnungsmessgerät nach Anspruch 5, bei dem das genannte optische Strahlungssystem in einer Mehrzahl vorhanden ist, wobei die genannten optischen Strahlungssysteme insgesamt die Aufgabe haben, Laserlicht auf die Oberfläche der genannten Probe in einer Zone davon zu strahlen, die in der zu messenden Dehnungsrichtung verläuft.
  7. Kontaktfreies Laserdehnungsmessgerät nach Anspruch 6, bei dem die genannte Laserlichtstrahlungszone der genannten Probenoberfläche, auf die Laserlicht von den genannten optischen Strahlungssystemen gestrahlt werden soll, in zwei Abschnitte in der genannten zu messenden Dehnungsrichtung unterteilt wird.
  8. Kontaktfreies Laserdehnungsmessgerät nach Anspruch 7, bei dem das genannte Streulichterfassungsmittel für jeden der genannten beiden unterteilten Abschnitte der genannten Laserstrahlungszone angeordnet ist.
  9. Kontaktfreies Laserdehnungsmessgerät nach Anspruch 2, ferner umfassend:
    eine Kamera zum Schießen eines Bildes einer Probe; und
    eine Anzeigevorrichtung zum Anzeigen eines Bildes auf der Basis eines Bildsignals, das von der genannten Kamera erzeugt wurde,
    wobei die Positionen der genannten beiden Zonen als zwei übergelagerte Beobachtungspunkt-Datenquellen von Moment zu Moment auf dem genannten Probenbild dienen, angezeigt durch die genannte Anzeigevorrichtung auf der Basis (i) des Inhalts, der durch das genannte Einstellmittel eingestellt wird, und (ii) des Betrags, um den die genannten Kanäle von dem genannten Kanalverschiebungssteuermittel verschoben wurden.
  10. Kontaktfreies Laserdehnungsmessgerät nach Anspruch 3, ferner umfassend:
    optische Markierungslichtstrahlungssysteme, um auf die genannte Probe zwei Punktlichter zu strahlen, deren Wellenlängen sich von der Wellenlänge des Laserlichts von dem genannten optischen Strahlungssystem unterscheiden; und
    Antriebsmechanismen zum Ändern der Strahlungspositionen der genannten Punktlichter auf der genannten Probe,
    wobei das genannte Einstellmittel die Aufgabe hat, die Strahlungspositionen der genannten beiden Punktlichter, die vom Bediener mit Hilfe der genannten optischen Markierungslichtstrahlungssysteme auf die genannte Probe gestrahlt werden, auf der Basis eines Ausgangs des genannten Bildsensors zu erfassen, wobei die erfassten Ergebnisse als die Anfangspositionen von zwei Beobachtungspunkten eingestellt werden.
  11. Kontaktfreies Laserdehnungsmessgerät nach Anspruch 10, bei dem die genannten Antriebsmechanismen die Aufgabe haben, von Moment zu Moment die Strahlungspositionen von zwei Punktlichtern von den genannten optischen Markierungslichtstrahlungssystemen auf der genannten Probe auf der Basis des Betrags zu ändern, um den die Kanäle von dem genannten Kanalverschiebungssteuermittel verschoben wurden.
  12. Kontaktfreies Laserdehnungsmessgerät nach Anspruch 11, bei dem, um zu verhindern, dass die reflektierten Lichter der genannten Punktlichter von den genannten optischen Markierungslichtstrahlungssystemen einen Einfluss auf einen Ausgang des genannten Bildsensors während der Dehnungsmessung haben, oberhalb des genannten Bildsensors ein Bandpassfilter angeordnet ist, das die Aufgabe hat zu gewährleisten, dass nur das Messlaserlicht von dem genannten optischen Strahlungssystem selektiv auf die Laserempfangsfläche des genannten Bildsensors fällt.
