Claims (5)
- Verfahren zur Intensivierung des Kontaktes zwischen einem Walzband (1) und einer Flüssigkeit in einer Kühl- oder Beizvorrichtung (40), wobei die Flüssigkeit unter Druck aus einem Vorrat (20) zu einem Austrittsorgan und aus diesem austretend mit einer energiereichen Strömung in geschlossenem Strahl mit einem sich über die Breite des Walzbandes (1) erstreckenden und quer dazu relativ engen Strömungsprofil unter hoher Geschwindigkeit senkrecht gegen das Walzband (1) ausgetragen, sodann der Strahl in eine zum Bandverlauf parallel gerichtete Strömung stetig ungelenkt und die Strömung über eine Kontaktstrecke (26) am Walzband (1) mit paralleler Strömung (11) entlang geführt und danach vom Walzband (1) zurück zum Vorrat (20) abgeführt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Austritt des geschlossenen Flüssigkeitsstrahls (10) aus dem Mundstück (25) des als Schlitzdüse (24) ausgebildeten Austrittsorgans der Kühl- oder Beizvorrichtung (40) unterhalb des Badspiegels (12) eines ruhenden Flüssigkeitsbades (13) mit einer so hohen Geschwindigkeit erfolgt, dass durch Übertragung von kinetischer Energie des hochbeschleunigten Flüssigkeitsstrahls (10) an das ruhende Flüssigkeitsbad (13) Teile dieses Flüssigkeitsbades (13) mitgerissen und durch die Kontaktstrecke (26) hindurch gefördert werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zunächst senkrecht gegen das Walzband (1) aus der Schlitzdüse (24) ausgetragene Flüssigkeitsstrahl (10) über einen Strömungsleitkörper (27), dessen Strömungsleitfläche (28) das Mundstück (25) der Schlitzdüsen (24) stromabwärts (in Pfeilrichtung (11)) verlängert, stetig um annähernd 90° parallel zum Walzband (1) umgelenkt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei langsamer Walzbandgeschwindigkeit die Strömungsrichtung (11) der Flüssigkeit in der Kontaktstrecke (26) der Walzbandförderrichtung (in Pfeilrichtung (2)) entspricht.

- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vorrichtung (40) mit der Strömungsleitfläche (28) zur Bandlaufrichtung (2) gleichgerichtet oder entgegengesetzt gerichtet angeordnet ist.
