Connection means according to claim 8 and one or more of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the upper sash cover plate (18) covers the extension arms (5) and protrudes beyond a lower sash cover plate (24), which engages in a clearance (25) of the connection member (3) with its upper end region during the pivotal movement of the sash (1).
