Description

The invention relates to a fitting arranged concealed in the fold for tilt-and-pivot casement windows or doors, in particular with a wooden frame, with the features of the preamble of claim 1.

A fitting with the features of the preamble is known from DE-PS 34 42 364. The design of this known fitting is used to ensure that all fitting parts can be concealed in a fold of normal width and the sash can still be freely swung freely through the sash flap without requiring a space in the area of the inner frame of the frame must become. One or each of the pivot pins, by means of which the links are articulated on the lower edge of the wing, in particular on a screw-on plate, can simultaneously form the lower tilt bearing. This fitting has a fixed locking part in the fold corner of the frame, with which a locking lug cooperates on a fitting part assigned to the sash for locking the sash in the closed position.

These known fittings have already proven themselves very well in practice, since they are easy to install and also support and guide even heavier sashes easily and safely during the pivoting movement or the tilting movement of the sash. It should be noted that only the usual rebate space of limited width and height is available for the design and placement of the fitting, unless a recess is to be provided in a special step for installing the sash frame.

Dies gilt insbesondere für Holzrahmen. This applies in particular to wooden frames.

It is an object of the invention to develop a fitting of the type in question in such a way that the load-bearing capacity of the fitting, in particular in the area of the lower sash edge, is simple without increasing the space required for installing the fitting and thus without a special machining step Way significantly increased and the locking of the wing in the closed position can be improved. This should be made possible above all for fold widths below 20 mm.

This object is achieved by the teaching of claim 1 for the generic fitting.

On the basis of this teaching, locking takes place at a point in the horizontal fold area which is at a distance from the fold corner and thus from the pivot axis of the wing which is greater than the length of the shorter link. This means that without locking, even in the frame corner, the screw-on plate in the fold can end at a clear distance from the swivel axis. If the screw-on plate is also used for locking in the fold corner, the parts interacting for this purpose can be made smaller or weaker. In both cases, it becomes possible to make the shorter handlebar carrying the main weight stronger and thus more stable in the area of the pivot pin. It is expedient to form this shorter handlebar than that produced by injection molding or the like. The creation of the additional point of the positive engagement is possible, as the teaching of claim 1 shows, in a simple manner. The advantage of these measures is that the load-bearing capacity of the short handlebar of the handlebar system becomes significantly greater. Above all, however, a much larger tightening path is achieved without the installation space of the fitting going beyond the normal dimensions of a sash rebate in terms of its width or depth. Special processing steps to enlarge the fold in the area where the fitting is installed are therefore unnecessary.

In the development according to claim 9, relatively large paths for controlling the pressing or pushing movement are obtained, which significantly increases the functional reliability of the fitting. At the same time, extremely favorable power amplification ratios for pressing and pressing are achieved. This is based on the fact that the locking part is arranged at a predetermined distance from the folding corner in the area of the horizontal spar of the frame. It comes to rest in an area where the relative movements between the fitting parts when opening and closing the sash are greater than in the rebate corner. It also contributes to the fact that the engagement part is designed as a two-armed lever and is controlled by the longer handlebar. The two arms of the engagement part can be dimensioned accordingly different lengths, so that on the one hand the engaging part can engage at a large distance from the fold corner on the horizontal wing edge or on the part fastened there, so that the wing movement is force-translated on the shorter arm of the engaging part and from there on the Frame fixed locking part can be brought into effect.

While the larger handlebar controls the movement of the engaging part in dependence on the wing movement, it is the wing movement which ensures, via the engaging part, its articulation point on the longer handlebar and the engagement with the locking part with high accuracy and sufficient force, that when pivoting of the sash, the area of the sash frame close to the swivel axis is also securely guided and reliably pressed into the closed position by force or is pushed off the frame when opening from the closed position.

The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of schematic drawings using an exemplary embodiment.

In the following it is assumed that the frame and casement are designed as wooden frames. However, the invention can also be used in other designed frames or frames made of other materials.

Between the frame 1 and the sash 2, the usual sash rebate 3 is limited on all sides in the closed position of the sash. It is assumed that the usual circumferential groove 4 is incorporated on the narrow edge of the wing, which is used to receive parts of the actuating linkage and which is covered by a cover rail 5 which is flush with the narrow edge of the wing.

The wing is freely guided during its pivoting movement about a vertical axis by an upper fitting 6 and a lower fitting 7, as is known from the prior art mentioned at the beginning. Essential for the guidance are two handlebars of different lengths, which are articulated on the frame and in the area of the upper edge of the wing on a deployment arm or on the lower edge of the wing.

For the upper fitting 6, the two links 13 and 14 are articulated to a plate 12 which can be screwed onto the frame and to the extension arm 10, to which an auxiliary arm 11 is assigned. The links 13, 14 have different lengths and their articulation points are each on straight lines that run parallel to the fold or parallel to the extension arm. The screw-on plate 12 is assigned a stop 16 which is fixed to the frame, namely in the form of an adjustable eccentric pin 16. A pin 17 acts together with this pin, which is provided on the end of the frame facing the frame of a pair of scissors 15 which has fixed articulation points with the longer handlebar 13 and the extension arm 10 is connected. The pin 16 lies in the area between the articulation points of the two links on the screw-on plate 12 of the frame. In the preferred example according to the figures, the parts 16, 17 are provided on the extension arm 10 and 43 on the screw-on plate in addition to the locking parts 42.

In Figures 3 to 5, the fitting 7 is shown in the region of the lower wing edge. This fitting has two correspondingly different handlebars 21, 22 which are articulated on the lower edge of the wing on the one hand and via the fixed articulation points 23, 24 on a screw-on plate 20 of the frame 1. The handlebars are straight. The screw-on plate 20, which is attached to the window frame in the sash rebate, ends in the window frame corner in a frame-fixed, narrow locking part 40a with which the locking lug 41a of the wing screwing plate 45 interacts. These parts need only be relatively weak, so that in the area of the pin 8 the short link 22 can be made particularly strong and stable. The link 22 is expediently designed as a molded part by injection molding or the like. He can engage with the fixed pin 8 in the material of the casement.

A part 33 fixed to the frame is provided on the screw-on plate 20 in the form of an adjustable eccentric pin. The distance 40 of the pin 33 from the pivot axis of the wing is greater than the length 41 of the short link 22, measured from the articulation point of the link 22 from the lower edge of the wing.

When the wing approaches the closed position, the eccentric pin 33 interacts with a pressure lug 32 which projects beyond the articulation point 30 of an articulated arm 26 on the longer link 21. The articulated arm 26 belongs to an articulated scissors 25 which consists of the two scissor arms 26, 27 which are connected to one another or to the lower edge of the wing by means of fixed articulations 29 and 28. The parts interact via a particularly large tightening path, which has a particularly favorable effect on actuation and locking.

The eccentric pin 33 has a widened head 34, under which the pressing nose 32 engages in the closed position, so as to secure the wing in the closed position against lifting the wing.

If required, the articulated scissors can also be used to limit the stop for the swivel open position, as is known from German utility model 89 02 682 if the new fitting is also used in the area of the upper edge of the wing, as shown in FIG. 2. However, this is not necessary since a fitting can also be used for the upper edge of the wing, for example according to the aforementioned DE-PS 34 42 364, without this the advantages of the new fitting are impaired.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 6 to 9, the mounting plate 101 fastened to the window frame is assigned an adjusting device 102 which is fixedly arranged in the horizontal spar of the window frame and by means of which the mounting plate can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the sash rebate without loosening the fastening screws for adjusting the sash position relative to the window frame .

The support or screw-on plate 103 screwed to the sash frame has an elongated leg in the area of the horizontal wing spar and a reinforced corner piece 104 which is rigidly connected to it and is arranged in the vertical fold or in the fold groove which usually surrounds the sash edge. The fittings for the area of the lower wing edge are shown in the figures.

The fitting has two links 106, 112. Both links are articulated to the reinforced corner portion 104 of the support plate 103 with extended pins 107 and 114, respectively.

Both handlebars are straight, narrow handlebars, which, with their ends on the frame side, are likewise articulated on the mounting plate 101 at 108 and 113, respectively.

In this exemplary embodiment, a pin 116 is fixedly arranged on the mounting plate 101 at a predetermined distance 125 from the folding corner. The distance 125 is greater than the distance of the pivot pin 108 of the shorter link 106 from the folding corner.

An engagement part in the form of a two-armed lever 109 interacts with this locking part 116. This lever is straight and has a width approximately corresponding to the width of the two links 106 and 112. With its longer arm, the engagement part 109 is articulated on the support plate via a pin 111 which is longitudinally displaceable in a slide guide 121 of the support plate 103 of the casement 120. In the swivel-open position of the wing, the engagement part crosses the longer link 112 and is connected to it in the region of the crossing point by an immovable pin 117. The shorter arm of the engaging part protrudes from this in the direction of the frame. At the end of this shorter arm there is a recess 110 arranged that this end is forked. This forms two effective surfaces that can cooperate with the locking part 116.

The movement of the engaging part 109 is forcedly controlled by the longer link 112, in such a way that when the wing moves from the open position according to FIG. 9 into the closed position according to FIG. 7, the fork recess 110 is controlled via the locking part 116. One flank of the fork acts on the pin 116 in order to forcibly guide the wing in the region of its pivot axis into the closed position and press it against the window frame, depending on the closing movement of the wing. At the beginning of the opening movement, the opposite flank of the fork 110 cooperates with the pin 116 in order to forcibly push the leaf away from the frame on the side of its pivot axis when the leaf begins to move from the closed position.

The forces required for this are derived from the forces causing the wing movement and are increasingly transmitted via the two-armed lever 109 to the engagement area between the engagement part 109 and the locking part 116. The wing-side end (pin 111) of the engaging part 109 can slide in the guide 121.

All parts of the fitting are narrow straight-line parts, the width of which does not have to be greater than the narrowest fold of e.g. 18 mm. All parts are straight and designed so that they are in direct alignment with one another and with the fold in the closed position according to FIG. In the closed position, the longer link 112 and the engagement part 109 intersect in the direction of the fold height. The crossing point is designated by 115 in FIG. This crossing is made possible by two mutually facing edge recesses 115a, 115b in the engagement part 109 and in the longer link 112.

The two arms 106 and 112 supporting and guiding the wing each have immovable articulation points. The engaging part 109 is guided longitudinally displaceably in the wing, but is not necessary for supporting and guiding the wing. The engaging part is therefore not subject to any special loads other than those which are necessary for pressing and pressing and locking.

It can be seen that the two links 106 and 112 in connection with the engaging part 109 and locking part 116 lock the lower wing edge not only in the closed position but also in the tilted position of the wing against any translational movement. On the other hand, in the example shown, the pivot pin 108 of the shorter link 106 is formed on the mounting plate in such a way that the shorter link 106 is arranged so that it can be tilted without play, but relative to the mounting plate 101, so that the wing can be pivoted without the need for play can be moved to the required extent about the tilt axis.
