Definitions

  • the invention relates to a system according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Devices have also become known in which the travel path of the traveling cleaners runs over a plurality of textile machines which are swept one after the other.
  • the roadway is usually supported by stands on the machines themselves or on the ground.
  • Such devices are e.g. known from GB-A-1 018 718 and DE-B-1 205 920.
  • Thread breaks occur relatively often in the textile processing processes themselves, which among other things are due to the high content of impurities in the ambient air or to the accumulation of impurities at processing points.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to create a system with which the contaminants can in any case be significantly reduced in the critical processing areas with comparatively low investment costs.
  • a piston flow outlet is understood to mean an outlet which generates a piston-like displacement flow with an approximately uniform distribution and approximately uniform speed. With suitable exit speeds of between 0.3 and 1.2 m / sec, an at least low-turbulence flow is created.

Suitable such outlets are described as local outlets in Swiss patent application 02 815 / 91-3 dated September 23, 1991, both with regard to the structural design and with regard to spatial arrangement or location above a weaving machine. However, other configurations of such outlets are also possible.
