Definitions
- the invention relates to a system according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Devices have also become known in which the travel path of the traveling cleaners runs over a plurality of textile machines which are swept one after the other.
- the roadway is usually supported by stands on the machines themselves or on the ground.
- Such devices are e.g. known from GB-A-1 018 718 and DE-B-1 205 920.
- Thread breaks occur relatively often in the textile processing processes themselves, which among other things are due to the high content of impurities in the ambient air or to the accumulation of impurities at processing points.
- the object of the invention is therefore to create a system with which the contaminants can in any case be significantly reduced in the critical processing areas with comparatively low investment costs.
- a piston flow outlet is understood to mean an outlet which generates a piston-like displacement flow with an approximately uniform distribution and approximately uniform speed. With suitable exit speeds of between 0.3 and 1.2 m / sec, an at least low-turbulence flow is created.
- FIGS. 1 and 2 weaving machines 4 are arranged in several parallel rows 6 in a weaving room.
- a self-contained roadway 8 of a known hiking cleaner 10 runs over each two adjacent rows 6.
- the roadway 8 has, in addition to straight parts 12 parallel to the lines 6, the latter connecting arcuate parts 14.
- air channels 16 extend parallel to the straight parts 12 of the roadway 8 above the rows 6 of weaving machines 16.
- a downward-directed piston flow outlet 20 is provided on the undersides 18 of the air channels 16 above each weaving machine 4. Suitable such outlets are described as local outlets in Swiss patent application 02 815 / 91-3 dated September 23, 1991, both with regard to the structural design and with regard to spatial arrangement or location above a weaving machine. However, other configurations of such outlets are also possible.
- the two distribution channels 22 are connected to a common climate control center, not shown.
- the outlets 20 are supplied with air of generally high moisture content via the distribution channels 22, the risers 26 and the air channels 16. Since each of the air ducts 16 is supplied with air from the distribution ducts 22 at two distant locations, a uniform supply of all piston flow outlets 20 is possible with a relatively small duct cross section.
- the bottom 24 has at least one exhaust air opening 28 below each weaving machine 4.
- Several exhaust air openings 28 are connected to the air conditioning center via collector lines 30 and suction channels 32.
- the exhaust air openings 28 essentially the air originating from the piston flow outlets 20 is removed from the weaving machine room 2 after it has fulfilled its function.
- the air ducts 16 and the straight roadway parts 12, generally speaking, are preferably supported together.
- the support on the floor 24 takes place via a plurality of support columns 34 arranged in pairs between the weaving machines 4.
- the machine rows are short, ie a comparatively small number is arranged per row, it may also be expedient to provide support for the carriageway and the air duct on the ceiling of the hall and to feed the air duct from the ends of the rows.
- the hiking cleaner to provide a reciprocating movement on a straight path, which is also generally considered.
- the piston flow outlet 20 is provided on an outlet box 84 attached to the air duct 16. Furthermore, it follows that the traveling cleaner 10 has a plurality of tubular arms 40 equipped with blowing nozzles 42. A fan 44 supplies the blowing nozzles 42 with sucked-in room air via the pipe arms 40 connected to them. The blowing nozzles 42 are aligned such that they pass parts of the weaving machine 4 with corresponding air streams as the traveling cleaner passes through on both sides of the displacement flow, indicated at 46, emerging from the piston flow outlet 20.
- two rails formed by the air duct 16 themselves are shown, which define the straight part 12 of the roadway 8 of the traveling cleaner 10.
- a chassis for the traveling cleaner 10 forming rollers are designated, at least one of which is in drive connection with an electric motor, not shown, which forms the travel drive.
- a busbar 54 is attached to one of the side walls of the air duct 16.
- a grinding set, not shown, attached to the traveling cleaner 10 is in constant contact with the busbar 54. The grinding set is in turn electrically conductively connected to the electric motor forming the travel drive and to an electric motor 56 for driving the fan 44.
- the air duct 16 also serves as a support for lighting fixtures 58, for a compressed air line 60 connected to all weaving machines in the same row 6 and for a cable duct 62 for the power supply of the weaving machines 4 of the same.
- the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 4 differs from that according to FIGS. 1-3 mainly in that the height of the system parts described below can be designed independently of one another.
- the air duct, designated 116 here is distanced from the roadway 108 and arranged below it.
- the support columns 34 one column can be provided for the air duct 116 and another for the roadway 108.
- the air duct 116 is connected to the piston flow outlets 120 via connecting pieces 170. These outlets can thus be arranged at a suitable effective distance from the weaving machine without pre-determining the height of the air duct 116.
- appropriately shaped connecting pieces also allow lateral displacement of the air duct 116 with respect to the outlets, the lateral position of which is predetermined by the mandatory orientation of the displacement flow.
- the traveling cleaner 110 is designed both as a blow cleaner and as a suction cleaner.
- suction arms 172 are connected to the suction side of the fan 144 and carry suction members 174 arranged near the floor.
- collecting boxes 176 are assigned to the fan 144 in a known manner.
- the blowing nozzles 142 are connected to the fan 144 via proboscis organs 178.
- piston flow outlets allow an individual adjustment of the volume, which is possible with the throttle element 192 indicated in FIG. 4 in the connecting piece 170.
- the throttle element 192 can also be suitable for completely interrupting the inflow of air to the outlet when the machine is switched off. Both the adaptation and the interruption can take place via an actuating or actuating element, designated 194, which may be part of a process control comprising the system.
- the weaving machine 104 according to FIG. 4 is an air-jet weaving machine, but here too the displacement flow 146 is aligned against the warp chain 179, partially directly overlapping the rear compartment 180.
- the air duct 216 which has a rectangular cross section, has horizontal narrow sides 281 and vertical broad sides 282.
- An outlet box 284 is attached to the broad side 282 on the left in the drawing. This has a downward-directed piston flow outlet 220 and is connected to the interior 286 of the air duct 216 via a slot-shaped passage opening 290 occupied by deflection elements 288.
- the rails 248 of the carriageway 208 are in turn formed, on which the traveling cleaner indicated at 210 moves.
- Lighting elements 258 are fastened to the lower narrow side 281 on the air channel 216 which also forms a carrier here.
- the air duct 216 is in turn held on supports 234.
- the rails forming the roadway of the traveling cleaner can also be designed as parts independent of the air duct, which are stiffened by a corresponding connection to this duct.
- the system according to the invention can be used to achieve comparable results in other textile machines in which the processing process releases air and dust. This applies in particular to machines that serve the spinning process.
