Die unterhalb davon angeordnete senkrechte Führung ist ebenfalls ein senkrechter Schlitz, der jedoch oben ebenso wie unten geschlossen ist. Wenn der Schwenkpfosten flachgelegt wird, ruht sein gesamtes Gewicht auf dem Basisteil oder auf daraufliegenden Paletten.
Aus US-A-4,186,841 ist eine Palette bekannt, die sich von der vorstehend beschriebenen dadurch unterscheidet, daß jeder Basisteilpfosten als Rast zum Festhalten des zugehörigen Schwenkpfostens in seiner aufrechten Stellung einen seitlich wegragenden Vorsprung aufweist, der in eine Randaussparung am unteren Ende des zugehörigen Schwenkpfostens eingreift. Als senkrechte Führung dient ein Schlitz im Schwenkpfosten, in den ein am zugehörigen Basisteilpfosten befestigter waagerechter Bolzen eingreift. Bei dieser Anordnung werden der Vorsprung und der Bolzen auf Abscheren beansprucht, wenn der Schwenkpfosten sich beim Abwärtsschwenken in seine waagerechte Lage am genannten Vorsprung abstützt. Ein weiteres Absenken des Schwenkpfostens ist nicht möglich sofern nicht der Vorsprung oder der Bolzen tatsächlich, selbstverständlich unerwünscht, abgeschert werden; deshalb besteht keine Gewähr dafür, daß auf der Palette liegende Zwischenböden von den liegenden Schwenkpfosten sicher festgehalten werden.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Palette der eingangs beschriebenen Gattung derart zu gestalten, daß sie sich bei Nichtgebrauch, beispielsweise zum Rücktransport nach Abladen der auf ihr transportierten Gegenstände, raumsparend unterbringen läßt und dennoch den zugehörigen Zwischenböden sicheren Halt bietet.
Die Aufgabe ist erfindungsgemäß mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel einer erfindungsgemäßen Palette wird im folgenden anhand einer schematischen Zeichnung mit weiteren Einzelheiten erläutert. In der Zeichnung zeigen:

Die dargestellte Palette hat ein Basisteil 10 mit einer äußeren Umrandung 12, die von einem rechteckigen Rahmen aus einem liegenden U-Profil mit nach außen gewandten Schenkeln gebildet ist. An der Unterseite der Umrandung 12 sind vier Klötze 14 befestigt, die zwischen sich den zum Angreifen eines Gabelstaplers oder dergleichen erforderlichen Freiraum schaffen. Auf der Umrandung 12 sind zwei parallele Längsstreben 16 sowie mehrere im rechten Winkel dazu angeordnete Querstreben 18 befestigt, die zusammen eine waagerechte Auflagefläche 20 für zu transportierende Gegenstände oder für einen Zwischenboden bilden.
An den vier Ecken der Umrandung 12 ist je ein senkrechter Basisteilpfosten 22 befestigt, der von einem Winkelprofil mit nach außen weisendem Scheitel gebildet ist, an der Umrandung 12 sowie an einer Längsstrebe 16 und einer Querstrebe 18 angeschweißt und durch ein ebenfalls angeschweißtes dreieckiges Versteifungsblech zusätzlich gehalten ist. Jedem der Basisteilpfosten 22 ist ein Widerlager 24 zugeordnet, das von einem in einer Höhe h oberhalb der Auflagefläche 20 an einen Schenkel des betreffenden Basisteilpfostens sowie an die obere Ecke des zugehörigen Versteifungsblechs angeschweißten waagerechten Bolzen gebildet ist. Die Widerlager 24 stehen einander paarweise in der Nähe je einer Schmalseite des insgesamt rechteckigen Basisteils 10 gegenüber; ihre Höhe h über der Auflagefläche 20 ist so bemessen, daß mehrere Zwischenböden ohne zu transportierende Gegenstände auf der Auflagefläche 20 gestapelt werden können, ohne die Höhe h zu überschreiten. Beispielsweise sind zum Transportieren von in drei Lagen übereinander aufrechtstehend angeordneten Trommelbremsen insgesamt vier profilierte Zwischenböden vorgesehen, die sich für den Rücktransport zu einem Stapel von 60 mm Gesamthöhe zusammenfügen lassen. In diesem Fall beträgt die Höhe h der Widerlager 24 über der Auflagefläche 20 mindestens 60 mm, vorzugsweise 65 - 70 mm.
Jeder der Basisteilpfosten 22 weist an seinem oberen Ende in einem seiner beiden Schenkel, der von dem benachbarten Basisteilpfosten 22 abgewandt ist, eine Rast 26 in Form eines von oben eingearbeiteten Schlitzes auf. Unterhalb der Rast 26 ist im selben Schenkel eine Führung 28 in Form eines im wesentlichen senkrechten Langlochs ausgebildet, das in seinem unteren Endbereich bogenförmig in Richtung zum Scheitel des Winkelprofils des betreffenden Basisteilpfostens 22 verläuft. Das untere Ende der Führung 28 ist auf einer Höhe angeordnet, die ungefähr h/2 beträgt; das obere Ende hat ungefähr die Höhe 2h über der Auflagefläche 20. Die oberen Enden der paarweise zusammengehörigen Basisteilpfosten 22 sind durch eine ebenfalls angeschweißte Basisteiltraverse 30 miteinander verbunden.
In jedem Basisteilpfosten 22 ist ein Schwenkpfosten 32 gehalten, der im dargestellten Beispiel von einem Vierkantrohr gebildet ist, von dem zwei Seiten an der Innenseite je eines Schenkels des zugehörigen Basisteilpfostens 22 anliegen. Die Schwenkpfosten 32 stehen in ihrer abgebildeten Gebrauchsstellung senkrecht; die in Gebrauchsstellung oberen Enden paarweise zusammengehöriger Schwenkpfosten 32 sind miteinander durch eine Schwenkpfostentraverse 34 verbunden, die sich parallel zur zugehörigen Basisteiltraverse 30 erstreckt. Die Schwenkpfosten 32 sind in Fig. 1 und 3 aus Platzgründen verkürzt gezeichnet; ihre Höhe kann größer als die Breite des Basisteils 10, soll aber zumindest etwas kleiner als dessen Länge sein.
Jeder der insgesamt vier Schwenkpfosten 32 hat einen oberen Vorsprung 36 und einen unteren Vorsprung 38, die beide seitlich wegragen. Der obere Vorsprung 36 ist in Gebrauchsstellung in die Rast 26 des zugehörigen Basisteilpfostens 22 eingerastet; der untere Vorsprung 38 greift ständig in die zugehörige Führung 28 ein. Im dargestellten Beispiel sind die Vorsprünge 36 und 38, wie aus Fig. 4 bzw. Fig. 5 ersichtlich ist, von je einem zylindrischen Zapfen gebildet, der am zugehörigen Schwenkpfosten 32 befestigt ist; der obere Vorsprung 36 ist angeschweißt, der untere Vorsprung 38 hingegen mit einem Gewindezapfen 40 versehen und mittels einer Beilagscheibe 42 und einer Mutter 44 am zugehörigen Schwenkpfosten 32 festgeklemmt.
Jedes Paar Schwenkpfosten 32 bildet zusammen mit der zugehörigen Schwenkpfostentraverse 34 ein in Gebrauchsstellung senkrechtes Seitenwandteil; zwischen den beiden so gebildeten Seitenwandteilen lassen sich Gegenstände wie zum Beispiel Trommelbremsen in mehreren Lagen stapeln, von denen jede auf einem Zwischenboden ruht und die oberste zusätzlich von einem Zwischenboden abgedeckt ist. Der so gebildete Stapel ist in üblicher Weise mit Spannbändern oder dergleichen zusammengehalten und an der Palette befestigt.
Nach dem Transport und Entladen der Gegenstände werden die Zwischenböden platzsparend gestapelt und auf der Auflagefläche 20 abgelegt. Sodann werden die Schwenkpfostentraversen 34 nach oben gedrückt oder geschoben, wobei jede Schwenkpfostentraverse die beiden zugehörigen Schwenkpfosten 32 mitnimmt und deren obere Vorsprünge 36 aus den Rasten 26 löst. Hierzu ist nur eine Hubbewegung in der Größenordnung des zwei- oder dreifachen Durchmessers der Vorsprünge 36 erforderlich, und dabei gleiten die unteren Vorsprünge 38 in ihren unteren Führungen 28 um eine entsprechende, kleine Strecke nach oben. Nun können die Schwenkpfosten 32 paarweise nach innen geschwenkt werden.
Wären die Widerlager 24 nicht vorhanden, so hätten die Schwenkpfosten 32 die Tendenz, zu Beginn der Schwenkung, sobald die oberen Vorsprünge 36 von den Basisteilpfosten 22 freigekommen sind, wieder soweit abzusinken, daß die unteren Vorsprünge 38 sich am unteren Ende der zugehörigen Führung 28 abstützen und dort eine Drehachse bilden. Dies wäre aber bei unvorsichtiger Handhabung mit der Gefahr verbunden, daß die abwärts schwenkenden Schwenkpfosten 32 erhebliche Schwerekräfte auf die gestapelten Zwischenböden ausüben und diese dadurch beschädigen. Die Widerlager 24 stützen jedoch die Schwenkpfosten 32 bei ihrer Schwenkung derart ab, daß die Schwenkung jedes Paars Schwenkpfosten 32 um die gemeinsame Achse der paarweise zusammengehörigen Widerlager 24 stattfindet, wobei die unteren Vorsprünge 38 in den Führungen 28 nach oben wandern, so daß die auf der Auflagefläche 20 gestapelten Zwischenböden von den Schwenkpfosten 32 nicht eingezwängt werden können. Die Schwenkpfosten 32 werden über ihre waagrechte Lage hinaus soweit nach unten geschwenkt, bis die Schwenkpfostentraversen 34 schließlich auf den Zwischenböden zu liegen kommen und diese festhalten, ohne sie übermäßig zu belasten.

Claims (4)

  1. Palette zum Lagern und Transportieren von Gegenständen, die in mindestens zwei durch einen Zwischenboden voneinander getrennten Schichten gestapelt werden, mit
    einem Basisteil (10), das eine äußere Umrandung (12) und eine Auflagefläche (20) für Gegenstände oder für einen Zwischenboden aufweist,
    mindestens zwei Basisteilpfosten (22), die an der Umrandung (12) des Basisteils (10) aufrechtstehend angeordnet sind, an ihrem oberen Ende je eine Rast (26) und unterhalb davon je eine im wesentlichen senkrechte Führung (28) aufweisen, und
    mindestens zwei Schwenkpfosten (32), die in der Führung (28) je eines der Basisteilpfosten (22) ständig geführt, in einer Gebrauchsstellung durch Eingreifen in die Rast (26) des zugehörigen Basisteilpfostens (22) aufrechtsstehend verriegelbar, aus der Gebrauchsstellung heraus nach oben in eine aufrechte Zwischenstellung verschiebbar und von dort in eine liegende Ruhestellung schwenkbar sind,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
    den Basisteilpfosten (22) je ein Widerlager (24) zugeordnet ist, das in einer Höhe (h) oberhalb der Auflagefläche (20) angeordnet ist, wobei
    die Höhe (h) der Widerlager (24) so bemessen ist, daß die Schwenkpfosten (32) in ihrer liegenden Ruhestellung am zugehörigen Widerlager (24) abgestützt sind, und
    die Führungen (28) unterhalb der Widerlager (24) beginnen und sich über die Höhe (h) der Widerlager (24) hinaus nach oben erstrecken.
  2. Palette nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Höhe (h) der Widerlager (24) über der Auflagefläche (20) so bemessen ist, daß mehrere Zwischenböden ohne zu transportierende Gegenstände auf der Auflagefläche (20) gestapelt werden können, ohne diese Höhe (h) zu überschreiten.
  3. Palette nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Widerlager (24) an je einem der Basispfosten (22) befestigt sind.
  4. Palette nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
    das Basisteil (10) vier Ecken hat, an denen je ein Basisteilpfosten (22) steht,
    die Basisteilpfosten (22) paarweise durch je eine Basisteiltraverse (30) miteinander verbunden sind und
    die zugehörigen Schwenkpfosten (32) durch eine Schwenkpfostentraverse (34) miteinander verbunden sind.
