Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • EP A1 0 332 828 describes a device for separating stacked sheets of paper, which, however, is designed as a rotary feeder, the satellites of which are arranged in a rotor and rotate about their own axis during the rotation of the rotor. They have drum disks spaced from one another, between which the suction heads are arranged.
  • the rotor is located under a feeder magazine for receiving the stack, with the drum disks of the satellites rolling on the underside of the stack so that the bottom sheet, the fold of which the suction heads grasp and temporarily hold, is wound around the drum disks.
  • the sheet is first drawn into a conveyor gap, which is formed in each satellite between the middle drum disc and an endless conveyor belt partially wrapping around it, and then pushed on a path tangentially away from the drum discs beyond the circumferential circle of the rotor.
  • a removal conveyor with rotating grippers is assigned to the rotary feeder, each of which is to take over the paper sheet ejected by the satellites, but this is only possible if the fold is pushed as directly as possible from the conveyor gap into the gripper.
  • a roller feeder also arranged below a stack magazine is also described in DE-OS 27 32 591, in which a single suction head is arranged at one end of an angle lever, the other end is guided in a linear guide and the pivot bearing is eccentrically connected to a rotating planet gear is arranged, which in turn is in engagement with a fixed internal ring gear. This results in an angular orbit with several reversal points for the suction head, one of which lies in the takeover area.
  • the present invention takes a completely different approach with respect to both known feeders, in that it is based on the task of arranging and driving the suction heads outside of a rotor in such a way that they can be separated from the neighboring product quickly and safely without any significant deformation of even a free-standing outermost product cope and can transfer to the removal device itself.
  • the object of the invention in connection with a removal device with controlled grippers rotating in succession at regular intervals, is to guide the suction heads arranged outside the rotor with respect to the orbit of the grippers in such a way that they insert the edge of the products they grip into the grippers .
  • the rotor designated overall by 10
  • the rotor 10 is rotatably mounted in a housing 13 by means of a roller bearing 12 and in the circumferential direction 88 via a toothed ring 14 fastened to it, which meshes with a toothed belt 16 driven in rotation.
  • the rotor 10 carries three suction heads 18 distributed in the circumferential direction, each of which is anchored to the rotor disk 24 via a swivel arm 20 and a swivel axis 22.
  • the control link 38 is located on the end face 40 of the insert 42, which is removably fastened in the housing 13, facing the rotor disk 24, its track 36 being deeper than the other track 34, with the following rollers 32 and 30 being correspondingly offset with respect to one another in the axial direction .
  • tracks 34 and 36 remain closed, even if they overlap. Both tracks can therefore run in their diametrically opposite sections close to the rotor center; with a small radial space requirement, this results in a precise and vibration-free swivel drive 44 for the suction heads 18.
  • the track 34 has a bulge 46, which reaches the arm of each control lever 28, which cooperates with this track 34 and carries the follower roller 30, in overrun mode and leaves in drag mode, since the follower roller 30 in question rotates in the direction of rotation rising edge 47 of the bulge 46 is pushed inwards.
  • the arrangement of the rotor 10 with respect to the stack - here above the standing stack 48 - is such that the bulge 46 faces the stack 48 and the relevant follow-up roller 30 in the region of the bulge 46 most approaches the stack 48. This also applies, as can be seen in FIG.
  • a removal device As can also be seen in FIG. 8, above the stack 48 there is the guide channel 54 of a removal device, generally designated 56, which is provided with controlled grippers 58 rotating in succession at regular intervals, which grips in a known manner on a channel 54 rotating in the conveying direction F , endless traction element (not visible) are anchored.
  • the rotor 10 is laterally offset with respect to the channel 54, so that the suction heads 18, which swivel up on their swivel arms 20 and at the same time are driven by their rotating axes 22, hold the gripped product edge longer and, within a longer run-in area, directly into the open mouth facing downwards Can insert gripper 58.
  • the grippers 58 When the time comes, the grippers 58 are closed and the suction heads 18 are ventilated.
  • the rotor 10 specifically the rotor disk 24 is designed as a rotary slide valve which interacts with a valve body 60 engaging in a central opening of the rotor disk 24.
  • the valve body 60 has control slots 62 and 64 which communicate with a vacuum source (not shown) or with the atmosphere.
  • the connection 65 to a suction line 66 runs through the area of the insert 42 enclosed by the control link 38.
  • Radial connecting channels 68 are provided in the rotor disk 24, which in the course of one revolution of the rotor disk 24 first with the vacuum slot 62 and then with the ventilation slot 64 in Connect (similar to what is also described in the aforementioned DE-OS).
  • the radial connecting channels 68 of the rotor disk 24 are permanently connected to the suction heads 18 by connecting channels 70 formed through the axes 22.
  • the course of the control link 38 and the distance between the suction heads 18, as can be seen in FIG. 8 in conjunction with FIG. 3, is selected such that, on the one hand, the suction heads 18 bypass the transfer point 72 and, on the other hand, there are suction heads both in the transfer area and in the transfer area 18 are located. This allows a very fast working method, especially since there is still a lot of time available both for the transfer and for the transfer and all movements take place fluently.
  • the resilient mounting of the suction heads is helpful.
  • the suction heads 18 are attached to hollow pins 74, which are displaceably guided in heads 76 attached to the ends of the axes 22 are, but under the action of a hairpin spring 78 assume a rest position determined by a stop shoulder 80, with the hollow pin 74 communicating with the axial channels 70 of the axes 22 in each displacement position.
  • the suction heads 18 are guided by means of hollow swivel arms 82, which in turn are anchored to the axes 22.
  • a compression spring 84 holds the suction heads 18 in the stop position shown. Further details of both variants are readily apparent from the drawing.
  • the stack support is preceded - as indicated only in FIG. 8 - by a periodically or continuously driven feed device 86 which e.g. can be designed in the form of a conveyor belt.
