Definitions
- the invention relates to a cigarette paper tube with a filter mouthpiece, according to the preamble of claim 1, of the closest State of the art in EP-A-487976.
- Paper sleeves with such attached filter mouthpiece Homemade cigarettes are well known to order a portion of tobacco either by means of a device in the Insert cigarette paper tube as a preformed strand or to plug dimensionally stable tobacco cartridges into the cigarette paper tube.
- dimensionally stable tobacco cartridges can either from a compressed and optionally by binder held together tobacco rod or can also as e.g. tobacco cartridges known from NL-A 6 703 935 be made of a completely smokable porous coating Material are surrounded.
- the tobacco cartridge is shorter than the cigarette tube and at which also belongs to the system between the filter plug the cigarette paper tube and the tobacco cartridge a spacer or a molded body can be introduced or is arranged to once the flavor of filter cigarettes and also to save tobacco for the benefit of the consumer.
- a spacer or a molded body can be introduced or is arranged to once the flavor of filter cigarettes and also to save tobacco for the benefit of the consumer.
- one will be in diameter smaller, spacer than third component introduced, which flavorings, Source substances or absorbents such as activated carbon contains.
- This spacer can be used with both Tobacco cartridge as well as with the cigarette paper tube it can also be connected as a unit as the third component by the consumer himself be inserted into the cigarette paper tube.
- the spacers proposed here can be cylindrical rods or plugs whose Diameter 20 to 50% smaller than that Tobacco cartridge is.
- there are no filter plugs suggested whose diameter that of the paper tube is adapted so that the at least one additional filter plug sealingly rests on the inner surface of the paper sleeve, but by light pressure when filling the Paper tube with a portion of tobacco in it is axially displaceable.
- the invention has for its object cigarette paper tubes of the kind identified at the beginning to propose which both in terms of lightness or ventilation of the self-made cigarette are customizable and also one Protection of the paper sleeve against deformation, especially on the Allow open end facing away from filter mouthpiece.
- the filter cigarette paper tube according to the invention consists of a conventional filter mouthpiece, for example an acetate filter plug, which is glued to the paper tube and preferably with a mouthpiece wrapping sheet in the area of the Filter plug is encased and usually also by a few millimeters covers the empty paper tube.
- This filter mouthpiece can be used better ventilation in a manner known per se, for example be perforated by laser beams to carry the mainstream smoke Dilute secondary air.
- the displaceable filter plug is arranged on the end of the paper sleeve opposite the filter mouthpiece.
- the paper tube is stabilized at its originally free or open end, which is suitable for insertion or tamping with the tobacco portion, and cannot be damaged in the box.
- this dimensionally stable tobacco cartridge is used to sliding filter plug in the direction of the filter mouthpiece to postpone. Even when using devices for Stopper of cigarette paper tubes made from an elongated Bale chamber and a movable press beam, can strand-like tobacco supply through the piston-like tobacco ejection slide together with the sliding filter plug with the front part of the fitting and / or when transferring the Tobacco stocks in the sleeve towards the filter mouthpiece be pushed.
- the further displaceable filter plug s at a distance of, for example 2 to 15 mm from the first filter plug in the sleeve and forms a hollow chamber filter.
- the open end of the paper tube will not prevent crumpling protected; however, it becomes the paper tube in the lower area sufficiently reinforced so that they are better grasped and can be held more securely when the tobacco portion is introduced, without twisting the paper tube when inserting the tobacco portion or wrinkled.
- the cigarette paper tube according to the invention can at least on the inside in one Distance of, for example, 2 to 15 mm from the first filter plug an annular constriction or arranged in a ring Notches have the inner diameter of the paper tube decrease by a few tenths of a millimeter or less and thus the sliding filter plug when inserting the Resist tobacco serving so that this cannot be pushed through to the filter mouthpiece and that Chamber filter mentioned above forms.
- the constriction or notch is preferably in the area of the more stable wrapping sheet, can also cut with this or in the unoccupied Sleeve area.
- the perforation in the mouthpiece area for better ventilation can also in the area of this chamber filter lie, resulting in better vortexing of the main stream smoke with the secondary air.
- the indentation or constriction does not have to be continuously circular be trained, for example, one or two are sufficient or more narrowing the inner diameter of the paper tube separate areas that are punctiform or arcuate preferably at the same distance from the first filter plug are arranged and depending on the embodiment one more or resistance to insertion less difficult to overcome the tobacco cartridge.
- the constriction or the indentation arranged in a ring like this trained that the slidable filter plug when reinforced Pressure despite the annular constriction or the annular arranged notches pushed up to the filter mouthpiece can be.
- This embodiment enables a considerable Customizability when making cigarettes to order For example, once cigarettes of usual smoke quality and others to get such lighter smoke quality. So can for example, shorter dimensionally stable tobacco cartridges, which are also made a lighter tobacco can be made into the cigarette paper tube be introduced, the movable or sliding Only move the filter plug up to the notch can. The consumer thus receives a self-made one light cigarette, sufficient because of the remaining hollow chamber Receives ventilation air.
- the cigarette paper or Mouthpiece wrapping sheet either only in the area of the filter mouthpiece or only in the hollow chamber area or in the distance area between filter mouthpiece and constriction or in both areas be perforated.
- the paper sleeves according to the invention are produced on modern strand machines, in which an infinite strand is formed with only one filter rod twice the length of the the first filter plug that later forms the filter mouthpiece is glued to the sleeve paper, while another filter rod, which later forms the further filter plug, coated without glue becomes. After appropriate separation across the axis of the Strands are then obtained with a sliding filter plug equipped cigarette paper tube with filter mouthpiece. By inserting the non-glued filter plugs accordingly cigarette paper tubes can also be made as required with hollow chamber filter.
- the formation of the first filter plug and the further one Filter plug can be the same or different; instead of Conventional cellulose acetate filter plugs can also have different designs Filter plug of any construction for the first and / or additional filter plugs can be provided.
- filter plugs for example one near the Filter mouthpiece, which forms the hollow chamber and another, which is arranged on the open mouthpiece of the paper tube.
- the cigarette paper tube shown in Figure 1 consists of a usual paper tube 2, which in a known manner with the first Filter plug 4 to a filter mouthpiece through a layer of glue 6 is connected and from a mouthpiece wrapping sheet 8 is surrounded.
- the sliding cigarette case is the other one Filter plug 10 made of the same or different filter material than the filter 4 can be made in the filter mouthpiece.
- the paper sleeve 2 is provided with a notch 16 shown exaggerated here.
- This can be designed as a continuous ring or in the form of small outer notches protruding inside the sleeve and enables the displaceable further filter plug 10 not to be fully displaceable up to the first filter plug 4 of the filter mouthpiece, so that a shorter dimensionally stable cartridge P 1 from the Sleeve can be included; this results in a cigarette of the light type due to increased ventilation in the hollow chamber 12.
- the displaceable filter plug 10 becomes either completely at the filter plug 4 of the filter mouthpiece, depending on the dimensioning, with expansion of the notch 16 pushed or leaves a hollow chamber 12, which may be smaller or larger, depending on the dimensions of the individual parts.
- the constriction 16 is not absolutely necessary to be different to introduce long dimensionally stable tobacco cartridges; also the embodiment shown in Figure 2 can be short or fill long cartridges, the tobacco cartridge also longer than the receiving space can be the sleeve and the remainder an excessively long tobacco cartridge cut off by the consumer can be or entirely in a correspondingly long Filter sleeve can be introduced.
- FIG. 4 In the schematic drawing shown in Figure 4 is the manufacture a cigarette paper sleeve shown in Figure 1.
- the Sleeve strand will be filter rods twice the length of the later Filter plug glued in and with the mostly protruding mouthpiece wrapping sheet, which is also twice as long as that of finished cigarette tube is glued. At a certain distance this is another filter rod in double the length of the subsequent further filter plug 10 is encased without gluing, whereupon at the perpendicular to the axis of the sleeve strand at A both the area forming the later mouthpiece and that intersect the resulting area of the slidable filter plug being single finished cigarette tubes receives.
