Definitions
- the invention relates to a card shuffler with a storage container arranged in a housing for Recording of a mixed deck of cards, which with a Withdrawal opening for the individual removal of cards is provided, and a mixing container for receiving mixing cards that are adjustable relative to the storage container is, with a drive for the mixing container and a drive for a single card from this into the storage container transporting ejector from a random number generator are controlled.
- Such a card shuffler was e.g. through the U.S. Patent 4,659,082 is known.
- this known mixer is the Mixing container formed by a drivable drum that is radial has extending slots for receiving one card each.
- the reservoir for the mixed cards, the drum feeds, whereby due to the control of a card ejector the individual Cards randomly into the storage container be pushed out.
- the aim of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to propose a card mixer of the type mentioned at the beginning, which is characterized by a small footprint and in the event of a malfunction the cards are easily removed and continued the game by hand shuffling can be.
- this is achieved in that the Mixing container arranged next to the storage container and can be moved parallel to this and the ejector cards transferred the mixing container into the storage container, the cards to be mixed in an end position of the mixing container can be inserted into the housing through an opening are, where the mixing container on one end has spacer plates in its upper and lower area, with the front of a side wall of the mixing container an ejection gap on the ejection side for the cards to be shuffled define the essentially the thickness of a card corresponds and the ejector is movable between these plates is that over the end faces of the card leading laterally Side walls of the mixing container sweeps away.
- the construction according to the invention results the advantage that in the event of a fault in the card mixer without can be continued with the same card pack can what a very significant advantage in a casino operation represents.
- the played card pack removed from the mixing container and mixed by hand what it is like in a game without an automatic card shuffler usual, inserted into the storage container and the Cards are removed from this one at a time via its removal opening can be.
- discomfort debates with players when using a new deck of cards as is the case with the known solution would be avoided.
- the lower spacer plate on the ejection side Limit the discharge gap at the level of the bottom of the mixing container Approach that is in the plane of the face of the discharge side wall of the mixing container a convex Rounding has, over which the card to be ejected in the Storage container slides.
- the mixing container one of the width of the cards Width and the storage container one corresponding to the length of the cards Width.
- this enables simple entry of the played cards in the shuffler since the cards are standing can be entered and a simple removal of the mixed Cards about the opening of the storage container, because these cards are stacked horizontally in the storage container.
- the ejector is designed as an angle lever which in the end region of a his thigh, preferably his shorter thigh, can be swiveled in the bottom area of the end near the storage container adjacent side wall of the mixing container stored and may be driven by a crank mechanism.
- crank mechanism Drive motor only needs to turn in one direction and therefore can be constructed in an appropriately simple manner also simple control of this motor results.
- the mixing container with the same side arranged support plate is connected to one in front of a protruding obliquely backward sloping end of the mixing container Tragkonstrution is attached, in which the drive of the Ejector is held, the motor for driving the ejector preferably parallel to this end face of the mixing container is aligned and an angular gear drives the crank disk connected to the ejector via a connecting rod, which connecting rod attacks the ejector.
- the support plate with a clamping device is provided on a rotating Timing belt is clamped, which is driven by a motor Washer and a pulley is guided, which the belt of the toothed belt held in the clamping device runs essentially parallel to guides with the support plate work together.
- a storage container 2 for the shuffled cards In the housing 1 of the card mixer according to FIG. 1 a storage container 2 for the shuffled cards. This points to his one Front side of a removal opening 3, which is the removal opening 3 having front wall 4 on its underside with the Bottom 5 of the storage container 2 defines a slot through the front card of the deck of cards 6 are withdrawn can.
- a card shoe 7 is provided, which is on an inside arranged rotatably held in the side walls Roller made of a relatively heavy material, e.g. Steel rests, so that the card shoe 7 due to the inclination of the floor 5 striving has been inclined towards the front To slide front wall 4.
- mixing container 8 In addition to the reservoir 2 is a parallel to this arranged mixing container 8 is provided, which essentially parallel to the bottom 5 of the storage container 2 and parallel is held displaceable to its longitudinal axis.
- this Mixing container 8 which is loaded with the cards played, is also a card shoe 7 'arranged for the necessary Contact pressure of the stack of cards 9 played in the upper and the lower region of the end face of the mixing container 8
- Spacer plates 10, 11 ensures. These spacer plates 10, 11 are on the front side of the away from the reservoir 2 Wall 12 of the mixing container 8 and define with the face the wall 13 adjacent to the storage container 2 of the Mixing container 8 has an ejection gap, the width of which is essentially corresponds to the thickness of a card. This discharge gap can be seen from FIG. 2 and designated 41.
- This ejector 14 is designed as an angle lever and moves with the free end of its longer one Leg 15 between the two spacer plates 10, 11 and pushes the front card of the deck of cards played 9 through the discharge gap into the storage container 2, whereby the card is tilted at the same time.
- the pusher 14 is moved from one to the other by one Plate formed support structure 16 held motor 17 over a crank disk 18 and a connecting rod 19 are driven. It is the end of the shorter leg 20 of the ejector 14 is thickened and in the bottom region of the front end of the mixing container 8 pivoted.
- the mixing container 8 is via a connecting piece 21 connected to a support plate 22 which in its front end region the supporting structure 16 holds.

- the drive of the mixing container 8 also by means of a threaded spindle which can be driven by the motor 29 is, and one slidable on this, however, compared to the Mixing container 8 take place rotatably held nut, being on the guide rails 25 can be dispensed with.
- the frictional torque of the nut is sufficient for the sliding ones Side walls of the storage container 2 and the mixing container 8th.
- the two motors 17 and 29 are not one shown controlled random generator, so that the mixing container 8 constantly between two end positions of its displacement commutes and stops between them and the pusher 14 is operated, so that on a random basis fixed places of the mixed in the reservoir 2 Card stack cards inserted from the mixing container 9 will. It can be provided that the motor 29th controlled directly by the random generator, not shown is and is stopped at random, after which the Motor 17 is activated, after which the mixing container 9 again is moved on. This results in indirect control also the motor 17 by the random generator.
- the card sequence is in the mixed card deck 6 Unpredictable even when using counting methods.
- FIGS. 2 and 3 differs from that of FIG. 1 in that the supporting structure 16 is formed by a U-profile, the legs 35 substantially parallel to the end faces of the walls 12, 13 of the mixing container 8 are aligned and on the latter Web 36 the motor 17 is attached. This will result in a reduction the overall length of the mixing container 8 together with the motor 17 is reached.
