Definitions

  • the invention relates to a clamp for connecting formwork panels arranged side by side in one plane, which have circumferential edge webs or edge profiles, with two pivoting against the mutually facing longitudinal surfaces of the adjacent edge webs or the like and compressing these clamping or clamping jaws and an actuating element for pivoting these clamping jaws , wherein the two jaws each have at their end facing away from their clamping point a spaced from their pivot bearing point of attack for the actuating element and the actuating element is supported on a bracket belonging to the bracket on which the two jaws are pivotally mounted.
  • Such a clip is known from DE-GM 88 14 208 and has proven particularly useful for edge profiles in the form of hollow profiles with a relatively large cross-section.
  • the two jaws are approximately L-shaped and have mutually facing and overlapping adjustment legs, so that in the area of the overlap of the two adjustment legs an eccentric can act on both, the pivot and pivot bearing also perpendicular to the formlining must be movable. This results in one Easy to use because twisting the eccentric causes the desired tension.
  • the requirement that the two clamping jaws overlap each other on their adjusting legs requires a corresponding amount of space or limits the possibility of the selectable material cross sections, particularly in their load range.
  • the clamping jaws or clamping legs are not pivotally mounted on a carrier, but rather are displaceable relative to one another with the aid of overlapping adjusting legs, the adjusting legs being penetrated together by a wedge, so that by driving the wedge in, the two adjustment legs and thus also the clamping legs can be pulled and braced against each other.
  • the wedge must be arranged with its broad side approximately parallel to the formlining, while its opposing, oblique effective wedge surfaces are approximately at right angles to the formwork and the adjustment direction of the wedge is again directed parallel to the formwork.
  • a clamp-like clamping device for edge profiles of adjacent formwork panels in which a second clamping jaw is pivotably mounted on a support having a fixed clamping jaw as a stop, the pivoting being carried out with the aid of a threaded piece that can be adjusted approximately at right angles to the formwork skin and can be transmitted via an L-leg.
  • the actuating element is a wedge arranged with its flat side in the swivel plane, which is located with the one narrow side on the side of the beam facing the formlining and with the other wedge surface at the points of attack arranged at a distance from the swivel bearings
  • Clamping jaws supports that the points of attack of the two clamping jaws are each arranged on sides facing away from one another and that the wedge projects over both clamping jaws at their points of attack in its two end positions.
  • a very simple actuating element namely a wedge, which has proven itself in formwork, is provided, but it is avoided that the wedge penetrates overlapping parts which, by the component oriented in the direction of impact of the wedge, presses the parts to be moved against one another. Rather, the wedge surfaces can act directly on the points of attack without the parts to be pivoted thereby touching one another and rubbing against one another.
  • the wedge is arranged with its broad side in an approximately perpendicular plane to the formlining and generally in a horizontal plane, while the two effective wedge surfaces that are at an angle to one another are located in vertical planes, one of which can run parallel to the formlining, while the other is in the wedge -Angled at an angle.
  • the result is a very simple one Operation because the wedge can be driven in one direction and thereby swivels both jaws relative to their carrier, while they are loosened and released by an opposite displacement of the wedge.
  • the carrier is a hollow profile and has at least one leg arranged parallel to the pivot axis for receiving the pivot bearing of the clamping jaws and a transverse web lying away from the formlining as an abutment for the wedge. It is particularly advantageous if the carrier is angular or even U-shaped and the one angle leg or the U-crosspiece forms the abutment of the wedge. The respective other angle leg or the U-leg can point with their free edges in the use position to the formlining, so that the actuating wedge is then between the pivot bearings and the abutment, in which space the actuating points of the clamping jaws also protrude.
  • the clamping jaws can in turn have an angular or approximately U-shaped cross-section and can overlap the carrier in the region of their pivot bearing, in particular on the outside, or can be encompassed on the outside by the cross-sectionally U-shaped carrier. This results in a compact and stable construction in which the forces that occur can be introduced largely symmetrically.
  • a good introduction of force with simultaneous simple guidance of the wedge can be achieved if the clamping jaws in the area of the points of attack of the wedge extend beyond their pivot bearings in their longitudinal direction of extension and preferably the wedge and its engaging on it Some of the narrow sides have long slots that are open at the ends.
  • the wedge cross-section can thus engage in these elongated slots and protrude therefrom to such an extent that there is contact with the abutment, but the wedge is thereby covered not only on its narrow sides, but also over part of its broad side and is accordingly well guided.
  • the long slots encompassing the wedge have a width slightly exceeding the wedge thickness and form a side guide of the wedge that engages on its two flat sides.
  • the length of the guide slot can be the same size on both clamping jaws and the clamping jaws can be arranged at different angles with respect to a cross-sectional plane arranged at right angles to the carrier and its crossbar, or the crossbar of the carrier can be at an angle to the formlining at which the two are tapering active surfaces of the wedge are arranged approximately to each other.
  • the wedge can have, at least at its tapered, narrower end, a protrusion projecting beyond the wedge surface as a stop against being pulled out of the clamp. This makes the wedge captive and also widens its narrow end so that a tool, for example a hammer, can better grip it in order to move the wedge in its release direction.
  • a projection protruding transversely to the wedge extension in particular a projection facing away from the formlining, can be arranged. This also facilitates and improves the driving in of the wedge. Furthermore, a striking tool or the like can be used to loosen the wedge on this projection if the narrower end of the wedge is inaccessible, for example due to the arrangement too close to stiffening webs or the like.
  • An embodiment of the invention of great advantage which enables a more effective introduction of the forces exerted on the wedge in the sense of closing the clamp, can consist in that the one located on the wider wedge end is transverse to the wedge longitudinal extension or to the direction of movement of the wedge when the clamp is clamped arranged front narrow side of the wedge runs so obliquely that an acute angle is enclosed between it and the one narrow side of the wedge facing away from the pivot bearings.
  • the bevel of the narrow end face and its angle with the one narrow side of the wedge can be chosen so that a vertical line through this inclined surface cuts the space between the two clamping jaws, if possible already in the release position, during the driving in of the wedge and / or also in Close position of the clip. Of course, this vertical line then moves with the progress of the wedge driving in from the outer opening of the intermediate space to the rear boundary.
  • the above-mentioned inclined surface ensures that the impact forces applied when the wedge is driven in are introduced more effectively and more cheaply via the wedge into the clamp.
  • the oblique face at the wider end of the wedge causes a larger force component approximately in the direction of the jaw extension, so that the corresponding Clamping jaw, which is at a distance from its pivot bearing, so that it can be pivoted about its pivot axis in the closing direction faster and with greater force. This occurs simultaneously on both jaws.
  • a further embodiment of the invention which can correspondingly facilitate the release of the clip, may consist in that the wedge at its narrow end has an at least partially narrow side facing away from the pivot bearings of the clip at an obtuse angle as an impact surface for an impact tool when loosening.
  • the shorter end face of the wedge can thus also be arranged obliquely in a manner opposite to the longer end face, in order in this case in turn to better distribute the force components when Hitting this area to achieve.
  • loosening of the wedge can also be simplified because a considerable part of the impact force applied is converted into an immediate swiveling of the clamping jaws.
  • the helix angle of the narrower end face of the wedge can be chosen such that a perpendicular to this oblique end face is directed towards the clamping area of the clamping jaws when the clamp is closed.
  • This measure which also has a corresponding helix angle on the wider wedge face, has proven to be a good compromise for swiveling the clamping jaws as directly as possible on the one hand, but also jamming or loosening the wedge accordingly without reaction forces - also cause vibrations on the edge webs of formwork panels to be braced. It has been shown that a short stroke can suffice to clamp the wedge on the one hand or to loosen it on the other because the clamp arrangement does not spring in itself.
  • a bracket designated as a whole by 1 is used to connect formwork panels 2 which are arranged next to one another in one plane and which have circumferential edge webs 3 or edge profiles on which the clip 1 in accordance with FIGS. 2 and 3 acts in the use position in the sense of a compression of these contacting edge webs 3 .
  • the clamp has two swiveling against the longitudinal surfaces 3a facing away from one another and the beads 3b provided there of the adjoining edge profiles 3 and compressing them Clamping or clamping jaws 4 and an actuating element to be described for this pivoting and clamping of these clamping jaws 4.
  • the two clamping jaws 4 each have at their end facing away from their clamping point or their clamping projection 4a, which can engage in the bead 3b, a point of engagement 6 for the actuating element which is arranged at a distance from their pivot bearing 5, which in the exemplary embodiment is a Wedge 7 is.
  • This actuating element that is to say the wedge 7, is supported on a support 8 belonging to the clamp 1 in such a way that the clamping force can be applied, transmitted and held via this support.
  • the actuating element is a wedge 7, which is arranged with its flat side 7a in the swivel plane, that is to say at right angles to the swivel axes 5, and which has a narrow side 7b on the side of the carrier 8 and which faces the formlining 9 of the formwork panels 2 and with the other wedge surface 7c at the points of engagement 6 of the clamping jaws 4 arranged at a distance from the pivot bearings 5.
  • the points of attack 6 of the two clamping jaws 4 are each arranged on sides of the pivot bearings 5 facing away from one another with a sufficient lever arm in order to correspondingly pivot when the wedge is shifted from the position shown in FIG.
  • the carrier 8 is a hollow profile and at least one parallel to the pivot plane arranged leg 8a for receiving the pivot bearing 5 of the jaws 4 and a transverse web 8b remote from the formlining 9b as an abutment for the wedge 7 and its wedge surface 7b.
  • the carrier could be angular, but in the exemplary embodiment is particularly U-shaped and the U-transverse web 8b forms the abovementioned abutment for the wedge, while the other two legs 8a are penetrated by the pivot axis 5 designed as a pin or bolt become.
  • the clamping jaws 4 In the area of the points of attack 6 of the wedge 7, the clamping jaws 4 extend beyond their pivot bearings 5 in their longitudinal direction of extension and, according to FIG. 1, even one of the clamping jaws can also protrude beyond the carrier 8 in the open position.
  • the clamping jaws 4 in this area each have a long slot 10, which engages around the wedge 7 and its narrow side 7c, which engages on it.
  • the long slots 10 encompassing the wedge 7 have a width slightly exceeding the wedge thickness and thus form the mentioned lateral guidance of the wedge 7 at two spaced apart locations, which thus guides and defines the wedge well.
  • the clamping jaws 4 are also better fixed relative to the wedge and braced with the carrier 8.
  • the length of the guide slot or long slot 10 on the two jaws 4 is the same in the exemplary embodiment - in spite of the different wedge width in each area - and the jaws 4 are therefore at a right angle to the carrier 8 and its crosspiece 8b - and at an acute angle arranged at different angles with respect to the flat sides of the edge webs 3 - arranged cross-sectional plane, or the transverse web 8b of the carrier 8 is in relation to the formlining 9 in the use position at the angle at which the two tapering active surfaces of the wedge 7, which converge towards one another, are arranged approximately to one another. It is particularly clear from FIG. 2 that when the two clamping jaws 4 engage the edge webs 3 approximately symmetrically in the position of use, the carrier 8 runs somewhat obliquely with its transverse web 8b and thus takes into account the wedge bevel.
  • the wedge 7 At its tapering, narrower end, the wedge 7 has a protrusion projecting beyond the wedge surface 7c as a stop 11 against being pulled out of the clamp 1. In addition, this means a widening of the wedge end, so that a hammer can be used to loosen it at this point .
  • a protrusion 12 projecting transversely to the wedge extension, which in the exemplary embodiment follows that of the formlining 9 facing away from the side, while the stop 11 points opposite to the formlining 9.
  • This projection 12 enlarges the end face of the wedge, which can be acted upon by hammer blows to increase the clamping force.
  • this arrangement of the projection 12 allows it to engage on its opposite side to loosen the wedge or to let a hammer act.
  • the carrier 8 between the pivot bearings 5 on its side facing the formlining 9 has an abutment and alignment surface 13, which can also be referred to as a stop surface and in the use position against the edges of the clamp 1 detected edge webs 3 or profiles.
  • the dimensions are chosen so that in the tensioned position the clamping projections 4a cause a tensile force against this alignment surface 13 via the beads 3b, so that any slight initial displacements of the edge webs 3 against one another can be compensated for by the tensioning.
  • an easy-to-use and yet effective clip 1 results from a few simple individual parts, which, however, are connected to one another in such a way that no part can be lost and therefore do not have to be assembled for bracing edge webs 3.
  • the end narrow side 14 located on the wider wedge end, which has the projection 12 is arranged transversely to the wedge longitudinal extension or to the direction of movement of the wedge 7 when the clamp 1 is clamped, and in an area facing away from the formwork panel 2, runs obliquely such that an acute angle ⁇ is enclosed between it and the one narrow side 7b of the wedge 7 facing away from the pivot bearings 5.
  • FIG. 4 shows an imaginary extension of the narrow side 7b to the point of intersection with the sloping frontal narrow side 14 in order to illustrate this angle ⁇ .
  • This angle ⁇ or the bevel of the front narrow side 14 is chosen such that a vertical on this inclined surface 14 and its extension through the inclined surface intersects the space between the two jaws 4, such a perpendicular approximately to the center of the inclined surface in the starting position is directed into the area of the clamping projections 4a, while in the tensioned position (FIG. 5) such a line also cuts the space between the two clamping jaws 4, but closer to the pivot bearings 5 thereof.
  • the oblique front narrow side 14 continues to the end of the projection 12.
  • an opposing slope is provided at the end of this oblique narrow side 14 opposite the projection 12, in order to somewhat restrict the entire wedge length and to ensure that the user applies the respective stroke in an area of the wedge where he himself good on the clamping jaws 4 via the wedge can be transferred.
  • the wedge 7 also has a narrow side 15b, which is at least partially in relation to the one narrow side 7b facing away from the pivot bearings 5 of the clamp 1, as an impact surface for a striking tool when the clamp 1 is released.
  • the helix angle ⁇ of the narrower end face the wedge 7 is chosen such that a vertical on this oblique end face with the clamp 1 closed is directed approximately to the clamping area of the jaws 4, so that good force transmission in the sense of pivoting of the jaws 4 is achieved even when loosened.
  • the clamp 1 is used to connect formwork panels 2 arranged next to one another on their peripheral edge webs 3 and has two clamping jaws 4 which compress these edge webs 3 and which can be pivoted relative to one another and to a carrier 8 by means of a wedge 7, which at the same time does that Counter or abutment for the wedge 7 forms.
  • the clamping jaws have points of engagement 6 for the wedge surface 7c facing away from the support surface 7b at a distance from their pivot bearings 5 under a lever arm.
  • These points of attack 6 are expediently arranged at the inner end of an elongated and guide slot 10 which is open on the opposite side and within which the wedge is also guided laterally when it is displaced.
  • the wedge extension and movement takes place transversely to the extent of the pivot axes of the pivot bearings 5, with which the clamping jaws 4 are pivotably attached to the common carrier 8.
