Definitions

  • the invention relates to a small silo for bulk materials for building supplies, specially designed for transport-friendly use in rapidly changing construction sites, comprising a cube-shaped hull opening into an outlet funnel with an upper end through a roof in which a closable filling opening is arranged, and with a Outlet opening having outlet opening at the bottom of the discharge funnel and with corner feet, which end in a plane just below a plane containing the outlet member, and furthermore a frame which can be assigned to the silo as a stand.
  • silos intended for this purpose are designed in the form most commonly used to date with fixed, comparatively high base frames and have a relatively large capacity, for example for several cubic meters of bulk material. Their use is uneconomical when it comes to comparatively small construction sites, e.g. for the construction of a single or multi-family house, whereby materials such as cement or plaster are only required to a limited extent, e.g. for plastering work, and rapidly changing construction sites require frequent repositioning of the silos .
  • This implementation then also requires an unnecessarily high outlay because a silo of the size mentioned with a fixed base frame takes up the entire platform of a transport vehicle.
  • a correspondingly heavy device must also be used for loading and unloading. If, for example, comparatively small construction sites need to be set up for repair or refurbishment measures on buildings, they need to be stocked make comparatively small quantities of bulk goods necessary, but on the other hand these quantities are so large that it is not practical to store the bulk goods in sacks, then the use of the aforementioned silos, which are too large and unmanageable for transport, causes uneconomically high costs. Bagged goods are also relatively expensive, the bags are vulnerable and therefore prone to loss and also not secure against theft. There is therefore a need for inexpensive and easily transportable small silos.
  • the container has on its underside erection devices that can be brought into a non-use position for transport.
  • the installation device comprises a base which consists of a framework-like frame of profiles on which the container is detachably placed.
  • the container is provided at its four corners with telescopic legs, one part of which is firmly connected to the container, while the other parts are variable in length and mutually lockable.
  • the detachable base frame is a separate part, which requires unnecessary space and unnecessary handling both when transporting and when storing the container in the unused state.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a small silo of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1, which avoids the aforementioned difficulties, disadvantages and costs caused and particularly favorable space during transport and storage results and can be moved or loaded and unloaded with light construction site aids, truck cranes or other lifting devices.
  • the spatial shape of the silo in cross-section and in height, and the spatial shape of the frame in cross-section and in height are so coordinated that the frame can be slipped over the silo body from above.
  • the frame does not require a separate transport space or storage space during transport and storage of the small silo in the unused state and is also readily available due to the physical assignment to the silo.
  • the fuselage has a rectangular cross section with a comparatively narrower transverse side and a comparatively wider longitudinal side.
  • this shape of space gives the advantage that there is enough space in the width of the long side for moving under the small silo, for example with a cleaning device, which facilitates the direct assignment and connection of such a device.
  • the different width dimensions of the sides result in the possibility of adapting the assignable frame to the dimensions of a Euro pallet, for example with an edge length of 800 x 1200 mm. This ensures, as is the purpose of the Euro Pallet Standard, an optimal use of loading space during transport.
  • eight small silos of the embodiment according to the invention can then be loaded and transported on a loading platform that is also standardized for this purpose. This significantly reduces the costs of transporting and implementing such small silos, which helps to rationalize the site organization.
  • the roof has a collar which is attached to it upwards and has a smaller cross section than the hull and this is formed with an end plate receiving the filler opening and with a flange projecting over the collar.
  • This collar offers the advantage that the silo can be easily gripped, for example, with a forklift or even with a stone fork transport tongs and can be safely handled for loading or unloading. Furthermore, the container is particularly well suited for the transport of bulk goods, because only one person is required to set it up in the firm grip of a forklift or a stone fork transport tongs.
  • the small silo shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 for bulk materials for building supplies has a cube-shaped hull 1 with an upper end through a roof 2.
  • the roof can either, as shown in the example, be designed with sloping roof surfaces or, in an alternative, simpler version, with flat roof surfaces.
  • the cube-shaped body opens into an outlet funnel 3, at the lower end of which an outlet opening with an outlet member 4 is arranged. This can be a slide or a butterfly valve.
  • the outlet funnels 3 have fixed feet 5 and are preferably flush on the outside with the right-angled corners of the fuselage 1. These feet 5 end close below a plane xx having the outlet element 4.
  • a frame 25 is assigned to the small silo 20 as a stand. According to the invention, the spatial shape of the silo 20 in cross-section and in height and the spatial shape of the frame 25 in cross-section and in height are coordinated with one another such that the frame 25 can be slipped over the silo body 1 from above.
  • the fuselage 1 has a rectangular cross section with a comparatively narrower transverse side 10 (FIG. 2) and a comparatively wider longitudinal side 11 (FIG. 1).
  • FIGS. 1 to 3 it can be seen that the fuselage 1 has a rectangular cross section with a comparatively narrower transverse side 10 (FIG. 2) and a comparatively wider longitudinal side 11 (FIG. 1).
  • the situation of the silo with a plastering machine under it shows the advantage of these differently wide dimensions, because it makes the substructure of different makes of plastering machine possible without any problems. With a square version, this would not have been possible without unnecessarily increasing the overall size of the small silo.
  • the collar 6 with the end plate 9 protruding as a flange 8 has advantages for access by forklift or with a stone fork transport tongs for the purpose of handling the silo 20.
  • the flange 8 prevents the stacker fork or the stone fork transport pliers from slipping.
  • the frame 25 has an upper frame 26 and this in its longitudinal 28 and Cross sections 27 is dimensioned such that the frame 26 rests on the roof areas 21, 22 of the silo 20 after the frame 25 has been slipped over the silo 20. In this way, a secure, and in particular permissible, fixed association between the silo body 1 and the frame 25 is achieved without additional fastening of the frame 25 to the silo 20 being necessary.
  • the upper frame 26 of the frame 25 has upwardly open pockets 29 at the corner regions, which are dimensioned and arranged such that they engage the feet 5 of the silo 20 when they are placed on them. This results in a secure support of the silo 20 on the frame 25 for problem-free and accident-safe operation.
  • An embodiment further provides that the frame 25 has the dimensions of a Euro pallet (800 x 1200 mm). This alignment with the Euro-Pallet standard ensures optimal use of the available transport space on the loading platform of a transport vehicle.
  • the filling opening 7 has a collar 30, the upper edge 31 of which is formed with a rounding 32 while avoiding sharp edges with such a radius that a sausage-shaped plastic bag 33 which can be suspended from above with the addition of an additive can be suspended without injury is.
  • the execution of the small silo according to the invention is advantageous in every respect and expedient but also uncomplicated and thus represents an optimal solution to the task set forth.
