Description

The invention relates to a scaffolding according to the preamble part of claim 1 and in particular a scaffolding formed from two simple straight ladders capable of being used for other uses, for example in V-coupling or in line.

The object of the invention is to provide a scaffolding which is very simple and convenient to use.

There are scaffolding made up of a plate and two simple ladders supporting the plate, the plate being connected perpendicular to the amounts of scale by arms in triangulation fixed on each one of them. However, for these devices, it is generally necessary to move the attachment point of the arm laterally on the platform, depending on whether the other end of the arm is attached above or below the platform on the ladder uprights. This additional manipulation represents a drawback for the user.

Un tel échafaudage est rigide mais complique son maniement.DE-U-8 504 805 describes a scaffolding which uses upper and / or lower link arms which are connected to articulation points of the plate which are also different. Such scaffolding is rigid but complicates its handling.

Il est proposé selon l'invention un échafaudage conforme à la partie caractérisante de la revendication 1.According to the invention, there is proposed a scaffolding in accordance with the characterizing part of claim 1.

The arms are advantageously fixed to each of the scales by the external crimping opening of the steps.

Thanks to this arrangement, the rungs being of standardized shape and arranged at regular height intervals on the uprights, it is possible to position this link arm either above or below the platform, depending on its height on the scales, without having to move the articulation point of the arm on the platform. tray.

The length of this link arm, as well as the position of its point of articulation on the plate will be determined so that it is inclined at an angle of about 45 ° conducive to good support of the plate relative to the scales.

Naturally the two hooks or support points of the tray at each of its ends coupled to the ladder, are distant from the width of the ladder uprights, with a slight play near so as to prevent any transverse translation of the tray. In addition, for the rigidity of the scaffolding, four connecting arms identical to each other are used, arranged two by two laterally and on the lateral parts of the plate. Likewise, the tray may consist of two longitudinal crosspieces arranged close to the lateral edge of the tray, surmounted by a rectangular board or plate of width substantially that of the ladders and intended to carry the user, the crosspieces being each provided with hooks. its ends allowing the attachment of the tray on the ladder rungs and provided with lateral articulation points of the arms connecting to the ladder uprights.

The attachment of the link arms to the scales can be carried out by means of plastic end caps shaped to enter from the outside into the crimping opening of the steps to the uprights. Locking the engagement of the end caps of the arms can be achieved by means of hooks passing behind the ladder upright so as to prevent the exit of the arm from the rung or simply by expanding the end cap himself.

  • FIG. 2 is a bottom view of the scaffolding platform,
  • FIG. 3 is a side view of the plate,

Figure imgb0001
The scaffolding according to the invention, as shown in Figure 1, consists of two straight straight ladders 1 and a plate 3 intended to support at a height level raised relative to the ground one or more user people. The plate is connected to the ladders by end hooks 5 and by triangulation arms 7, at 90 ° from these. The ladders are simple straight ladders with steps 9 set on the uprights 11 and consequently comprising an external opening corresponding to the tubular dimension of the step. One of the scales is slidably provided on the second and its external width is substantially equal to the internal width of the plane of the second. The plate 3 (Figures 2 and 3) has a corresponding external dimension, namely rectangular, of width equal to the width of the widest ladder and of adequate length for a scaffolding plane (1 to 2m). It comprises an upper plate 13 of the aforementioned dimensions and two tubular lower support crossmembers 15. These extend along the lateral edges of the plate, over its entire length, and are provided with hooks 5, mentioned above, which adapt to the rungs 9 at their ends. The two end hooks are spaced from the respective internal width of each ladder. They have a simple external retaining tab. The front and rear edges of the plate form a stop on the ladder uprights, in addition to the hooks themselves so that the plate is securely locked on the ladder rungs. The sleepers rest on the rungs, their median longitudinal axis
Figure imgb0001
corresponding to that of the ladder support steps. The axes of articulation 17 connecting arms articulated to the crosspieces and externally to the plate in vertical planes are located at the median axis of the latter and therefore at that of the support rungs. The other end of the arms is attached externally to the rungs, by their external crimping opening on the uprights (Figure 4). It comprises a plastic end piece 19 fixed in its bent end part, of tubular shape in its front part corresponding to the external opening of the rung. The tip has on its rear part an annular groove 21 receiving the annular base 23 of a hook 25 in the shape of a U, suitably ballasted to return to the upright 11 and frame it in its natural position of gravity and prevent the end piece does not exit outside the rung. It will be noted that these arms can also be arranged under the plate by simple rotation on the crosspieces, as shown in phantom.

A step 27 (Figures 1 and 5) is fixed to the lower level of an upright of one of the ladders and allows easy access to the tray. This footstep, triangular in shape, frames the upright laterally. It has a lower base 29 resting on the upright, being retained behind the upright in wedging by a pin 31 joining its rear wings 33. It is open at the front on the upper level and can be tilted upwards on the upright according to the arrow, in the retracted position.

The tray is hung on a rung of a ladder element by slightly pivoting the ladder relative to the floor to obtain wedging between the edge of the plate and the uprights of each rung.

On introduit alors les deux pièces d'embout dans l'échelon correspondant soit au dessous, soit au dessus du plateau, en engagement dans leur ouverture externe ;The two end pieces are then introduced into the corresponding rung either below or above the plate, in engagement in their external opening;

By simple gravity, the lock hook is positioned behind the ladder upright.

We proceed identically at the other end of the tray. The scaffolding is then assembled, perfectly locked, to receive the users.

It will be noted that the shape of the end hooks 5 ′ (FIG. 6) of the plate can be modified to practically wrap the rung in the service position (in height and in width), this making it possible to lock the front-rear movements and in height without the need to stop the board on the uprights. This allows in particular the use of any scale planes and greater freedom in sizing the plates or floor of the tray. The engagement of the steps hook is done in an inclined direction (about 45 °) according to the arrow and with straightening of the scale then at 90 ° from the plate.
