Deshalb muß er unbedingt zuverlässig beseitigt werden. Die Reinigungsvorrichtung umfaßt einen Schaber mit einer Schaberklinge, die im Betrieb gegen die Mantelfläche der Walze angestellt ist, ferner eine Flüssigkeitsquelle. Die Flüssigkeitsquelle hat zwei Aufgaben: Zum einen dient sie dazu, Reinigungsflüssigkeit auf die Mantelfläche zu sprühen, und damit die Ablagerungen abzulösen oder wenigsten deren Ablösung vorzubereiten. Zum anderen muß zu jedem Zeitpunkt sichergestellt sein, daß weder die Schaberklinge, noch die nachgeschaltete Rakel der Auftragsdüse trocken läuft. Diese beiden Elemente müssen somit zu jedem Zeitpunkt geschmiert werden. Claims (4)

Vorrichtung zum Auftragen von Streichmasse auf eine Faserstoffbahn, mit den folgenden Merkmalen: (a) Eine Auftragswalze (30), die an einer Aufgabeposition ihrer Mantelfläche einen maschinenbreiten Streichfarbenfilm empfängt, und an einer Abgabeposition an die Faserstoffbahn (9) abgibt; (b) ein Düsenauftragswerk (31, 41, 51) zum Bilden und Abgeben des Streichfarbenfilmes, mit einer maschinenbreiten Düsenkammer (52) und einer dieser nachgeschalteten Düse (53) mit zwei maschinenbreiten Lippen (53.1, 53.2) deren eine an ihrem freien Ende eine Dosierrakel (58) trägt, die mit der Mantelfläche der Walze (30) einen Austrittsspalt für den Streichfarbenfilm bildet, und deren andere (60) mit der Mantelfläche der Walze (30) einen Überlaufspalt für einen Überschußstrom der Streichfarbe bildet; (c) eine Überlaufrinne (59) zur Aufnahme des Überschußstromes; (d) eine Reinigungsvorrichtung (90) für die Mantelfläche der Walze, angeordnet zwischen der Abgabeposition und der Aufgabeposition, mit einem Schaber (80) und, einer diesem vorgeschalteten Flüssigkeitsquelle (70) zum Auftragen von Flüssigkeit auf die Mantelfläche der Walze (30), gekennzeichnet durch die folgenden Merkmale: (e) Die Schaberklinge (81) ist zwecks Einstellens der Spaltweite zwischen der Endkante der Klinge (81) und der Mantelfläche der Walze (30) anstellbar; (f) es ist eine Einrichtung zum Anstellen der Klinge (81) vorgesehen; (g) dem Schaber (80) ist eine Flüssigkeits-Auffangrinne (90) vorgeschaltet; (h) die Schaberklinge (81) bildet einen Teil einer Leitwand zum Ableiten der abgeschabten Flüssigkeit in die Flüssigkeits-Auffangrinne (90).
