In der Figur 1 ist ein Querschnitt durch die Leimauftragsvorrichtung 1 dargestellt. Die Vorrichtung ist am Querbalken 2 befestigt, in dem auch das Zuführrohr 3 für den aufzutragenden Leim angeordnet ist. Im Zuführrohr 3 befinden sich über die gesamte Breite der nicht näher dargestellten zu beschichtenden Papierbahn eine Vielzahl von Auslässen 4. An den Auslässen 4 sind Diffusoren 5 angeordnet, die an den Auslässen 4 einen runden Eintrittsquerschnitt aufweisen, der sich kontinuierlich zu einem rechteckigen Austrittsquerschnitt erweitert. Die unmittelbar nebeneinander liegenden Diffusoren 5 sind mittels der Verschraubung 6 zu einem Diffusorblock 7 verbunden.
Die Wände zwischen den einzelnen Diffusoren 5 laufen ausgangsseitig spitz aus, so dass an diesen Stellen keine Wirbel in der Leimsuspension erzeugt werden. Nach den Diffusoren 5 wird die Leimsuspension bis zur Übertragungswalze 10 einerseits durch den am Querbalken 2 befestigte Diffusorblock 7 und auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite die Diffusorlippe 8 gesichert. An der Diffusorlippe 8 ist eine elastische Lippe 9 befestigt, die in Art eines Schleppschabers bis auf die Übertragungswalze 10 reicht. In diese elastische Lippe 9 sind über die gesamte wirksame Breite eine Vielzahl nebeneinander liegende, in Laufrichtung der Übertragungswalze 10 ausgerichtete Schlitze eingearbeitet. Über diese, hier nicht näher dargestellten Schlitze, wird der Überlauf der Leimsuspension gesichert, so dass eine kontinuierliche laminare Strömung und damit ein gleichmäßiges Strichbild der aufgetragenen Leimschicht gewährleistet ist.
Die über die Schlitze überlaufende Leimsuspension wird über die Leimrückführungswanne 16 in den Umlauf der Leimsuspension zurückgeführt.
Die auf die Übertragungswalze 10 aufgetragene Leimsuspension wird bis zum Rakelbett 11 geleitet. Im Rakelbett 11 ist der Rollrakel 12 angeordnet, der mit der Übertragungswalze 10 in Wirkverbindung steht. Das Anpressen des Rollrakels 12 an die Übertragungswalze 10 erfolgt mittels des Anpressschlauchs 13, welcher durch den Schlauch halter 14 abgestützt ist.
Auf der Umfangsoberfläche des Rollrakels 12 ist in Richtung dessen Längsachse eine nicht näher dargestellte Riffelung eingebracht.
Die Klemmvorrichtung 15 fixiert das Rakelbett 11 zwischen dem Querbalken 2 und dem Schlauchhalter 14. Mit dem Anpressschlauch 13 ist die Feinanpressung des Rollrakels 12 und damit die Dicke der aufzutragenden Leimsuspension einstellbar. Die auf die Übertragungswalze 10 aufgetragene Leimsuspension wird anschließend mittels einer nicht dargestellten Filmpresse auf die Papierbahn übertragen.FIG. 1 shows a cross section through the

In Figur 2 ist die Leimauftragsvorrichtung 1 zusammen mit einer Walzenreinigungsanlage 17 im Schnitt dargestellt. Die Walzenreinigungsanlage 17 ist an der Übertragungswalze 10 in deren Drehrichtung vor der Leimauftragsvorrichtung 1 angeordnet. Sie besteht aus einem Hochdruckspritzrohr 18 das über eine Vielzahl von Spritzdüsen verfügt, womit die gesamte Breite der Oberfläche der Übertragungswalze 10 von anhafteten Fasern, Leimresten und anderen Partikeln gereinigt werden kann. Nach dem Hochdruckspritzrohr 18 ist ein Schaber 20 angeordnet, mit dem das an der Übertragungswalze 10 haftende Wasser und restliche Verunreinigungen entfernt werden.
Das Hochdruckspritzrohr 18 und der Schaber 20 sind in eine Auffangwanne 19 eingebaut, die mit einem Spritzschutz 21 so abgeschlossen ist, dass das Reinigungswasser nicht in die Leimsuspension gelangen kann.
