Ferner ist in der DE 44 32 177 A1 eine Vorrichtung zum direkten oder indirekten Auftragen einer flüssigen bis pastösen Suspension auf eine laufende Materialbahn beschrieben. Diese Vorrichtung weist einen als Freistrahldüse ausgebildeten Dosierspalt auf, dem die aufzutragende Suspension über ein Verteilerrohr zugeführt wird. Der Dosierspalt dieser Vorrichtung wird aus zwei über die Bahnbreite reichenden Lippen gebildet. Eine solche Vorrichtung kann für wesentlich höhere Arbeitsgeschwindigkeiten eingesetzt werden, da die aufzutragende Suspension in dieser Vorrichtung unter Druck zugeführt werden kann. Allerdings führt der erhöhte Druck dazu, dass sich der Düsenspalt insbesondere im Mittenbereich der Materialbahn aufweitet und es so zu einem erhöhten Auftrag und damit zu einem ungleichmäßigen Strichbild über die Bahnbreite führt. Die Wände zwischen den einzelnen Diffusoren laufen ausgangsseitig spitz aus, so dass an diesen Stellen keine Wirbel in der Leimsuspension erzeugt werden. Die weitere Führung der Leimsuspension wird auf der der Übertragungswalze 9 zugewandten Seite des Diffusorblocks 6 durch die Diffusorlippe 7 gewährleistet. Zwischen der Übertragungswalze 9 und dem Ende der Diffusorlippe 7 befindet sich der Überlaufspalt 8, über den die zuviel zugeführte Leimsuspension in die Leimrückführungswanne 15 und von da aus in die hier nicht näher dargestellte sogenannte Streichküche, in der die Leimsuspension aufbereitet wird, zurückgeführt werden kann.In the figure, a cross section through the device is shown. Auf der von der Übertragungswalze 9 abgewandten Seite des Diffusorblocks 6 wird die Leimsuspension bis zum Rakelbett 10 geleitet. Im Rakelbett 10 ist der Rollrakel 11 angeordnet, der mit der Übertragungswalze 9 in Wirkverbindung steht. Das Anpressen des Rollrakels 11 an die Übertragungswalze 9 erfolgt mittels des Anpressschlauchs 12, welcher durch den Schlauchhalter 13 abgestützt wird.
Auf der Umfangsoberfläche des Rollrakels 11 ist in Richtung dessen Längsachse eine nicht näher dargestellte Riffelung eingebracht.
Die Klemmvorrichtung 14 fixiert das Rakelbett 10 zwischen dem Querbalken 1 und dem Schlauchhalter 13. Mit dem Anpressschlauch 12 ist die Feinanpressung des Rollrakels 11 und damit die Dicke der aufzutragenden Leimschicht einstellbar. Über einen nicht näher dargestellten separaten Drehpunkt ist die Einstellung des Überlaufspalts 8 möglich.

Claims (5)

  1. A device for directly or indirectly applying liquid or pasty suspensions on a moving paper or cardboard web, comprising
    - a web guiding roll arranged transversely to the paper or cardboard web, or a transmission roll (9) acting together with a press roll,
    - a supply pipe for the suspension (2) to apply which extends over the whole width of the paper or cardboard web and exhibits a plurality of diffuser-like enlarged discharge outlets (3) that are arranged in parallel and directed towards the web guiding or transmission roll (9),
    - an overflow slit (8) situated at the intake side with respect to the direction of rotation of the roll in the outlet region of the diffuser block (6) between the same and the web guiding or transmission roll (9),
    - a scraper arranged at the discharge side of the diffuser block (6) with respect to the direction of rotation of the web guiding or transmission roll (9) which is designed to be pressed onto the web guiding or transmission roll (9),
    characterized by the fact that
    - for diffuser-like enlarging the discharge outlets (3) at the supply pipe (2), a diffuser block (6) is arranged extending over the whole width of the paper or cardboard web that contains a plurality of discrete diffusers having a rectangular cross section in the outlet area and being separated from the adjacent discharge outlet (3) by tapered bars (4) that do not extend up to the web guiding or transmission roll (9).
  2. The device according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the diffuser-like enlarged discharge outlets (3) are oriented to the web guiding and transmission roll (9) in a way that their extended axes cross the circumference of the web guiding or transmission roll directly in front of the contact point of the scraper with the web guiding or transmission roll (9).
  3. The device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by the fact that the scraper is a rolling scraper (11).
  4. The device according to claim 3, characterized by the fact that the rolling scraper (11) shows striations on the surface of its entire peripheral surface which are in line with the axe of the rolling scraper.
  5. The device according to claim 3 or 4, characterized by the fact that the contact pressure of the rolling scraper (11) is controllable by a pressure pipe (12) situated between the support (10) of the rolling scraper and the support of the pipe (13).
