Definitions

  • the invention relates to a disassemblable display case for art objects, jewelry or the like, with at least two horizontal shelves lying one above the other and with vertical side walls.
  • a conventionally used display case system comprises loose glass plates which can be connected to one another with suitable corner connections made of metal.
  • the corner connections have grooves into which the glass plates are to be inserted, the inside of the grooves of the corner connections being provided to ensure a sufficiently secure connection between glass plates and corner connections.
  • Binding are provided with friction materials so that the joining of corner connections and glass plates or the detachment of the glass plates from the corner connections is connected with a not inconsiderable effort; Due to the relatively large holding forces of the corner connections, the glass plates have to be knocked or pressed into the grooves of the corner connections. This makes the assembly and dismantling of the well-known display cases tedious and time-consuming. There is also a not inconsiderable risk that the glass plates will break when the known showcases are assembled or disassembled.
  • showcases are known, which are designed as solid pieces of furniture. Showcases of this type are also widespread, but they have the considerable disadvantage that they do not fit into conventional PK s or station wagons and therefore a hanger must also be used to transport the showcases.
  • the invention is therefore primarily based on the object of creating a dismantled display case of the type mentioned which can be assembled and disassembled in a simple manner and quickly and without great effort and is easy to transport. Furthermore, it should take up little space when dismantled.
  • a stenför igen in a horizontal plane two-part container with a bottom part and a lid part, several vertical stands, which can be detachably fixed in their vertical position in open containers on the bottom part and in their fixed position form a supporting structure for the floors and side walls, as well as vertically and horizontally extending guide grooves in the uprights, the floors and side walls being slidably received in opposite guide grooves in adjacent uprights, and the dimensions of the individual parts of the supporting frame, the floors and the side walls being at most equal to the inside dimensions of the container, so that the individual parts can be accommodated inside the container when the display case is disassembled.
  • the display case system according to the invention thus represents a box-shaped container in the disassembled state, in the interior of which the individual parts required for the display case are accommodated.
  • the box-shaped container is opened by removing the cover part, and the bottom part of the container simultaneously forms the base part of the display case.
  • the vertical stands are then fixed in a suitable manner on the base part, which creates a supporting structure for the floors and side walls. After that, the side walls and floors are pushed into the guide grooves in stages, without this would require a significant effort.
  • the cover part can be placed on the supporting structure, whereby the supporting structure may be given additional stability and the cover part is cleared up.
  • the supporting structure can comprise an upper horizontal stabilizing frame, which can be placed on the stand after the vertical stands have been fixed on the base part and can thus be fixed in a suitable manner; suitable fittings are known in large numbers to the person skilled in the art, for example from the furniture industry.
  • the upper stabilizing frame should be designed in such a way that it does not hinder insertion of the side walls from above into the guide grooves of the vertical stands.
  • the stabilizing frame preferably consists of individual frame parts in the form of bars which can be detachably connected to one another or to the uprights by means of suitable fittings, which in the disassembled state can be accommodated in the smallest space within the box-shaped container.
  • stable sleeves connected to the base part can be provided, into which the stand can be inserted.
  • the stands could also be designed to be screwed into the bottom part, for example. It can also be expedient if sleeves or the like are also provided in the lid part of the container, into which the stands engage with their upper ends when the lid is in place; In such a case, a stabilizing frame can be dispensed with if necessary.
  • An exhibition display case should generally remain accessible from one side even after it has been assembled; on the other hand, this accessible side should be designed so that it can be locked so that the display case can be left unattended at least temporarily.
  • one side of the display case can be closed by means of sliding doors, these sliding doors being dimensioned such that they do not exceed the internal dimensions of the box-like container.
  • the grooves or the like provided for the sliding doors can be formed in upper and lower guide strips, which are fastened or can be fastened either to the supporting frame or to the cover and base part.
  • a lighting device is installed in the cover part of the box-shaped container and can be connected to the network, for example, via a plug provided on the outside of the cover part.
  • Bottom of the base part rollers are provided, which can be releasably attached to the base part, in particular in the manner of the customary furniture castors, and can therefore be removed or plugged in as required. Furniture rolls of this type make the transport or moving of the display case according to the invention considerably easier.
  • the bottom part is carried by wheels which can be detachably fastened, for example, to the bottom part, in particular by means of quick-release axles, or which are fastened - optionally releasably - to a frame on which the bottom part lies on.
  • wheels are primarily intended for transporting the disassembled showcase from and to the exhibition space and should therefore be dimensioned large enough to be able to cope with larger unevenness such as sleepers or the like.
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the display case according to the invention in the assembled state
  • 2 shows the upper area of the display case according to FIG. 1 with the cover part removed
  • FIG. 5 shows a detail of one of the stands of the showcase according to FIG. 1,
  • FIG. 6 shows a horizontal section through the stand according to FIG. 5 along the plane V-VI
  • Fig. 7 shows the showcase of FIG. 1 in the dismantled and stowed in the box-shaped container
  • FIG. 8 shows a wheel frame for a dismantled showcase stowed in the box-shaped container.
  • 1 to 7 comprises a box-like container 2, which is composed of a lower bottom part 4 and an upper lid part 6.
  • the cover part 6 is fixed to the base part 4 by means of suitable fittings 8.
  • a plurality of tubular plug-in sleeves 10 are fastened at the edge, into which vertical stands 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22 can be inserted.
  • the length of the stands 12 to 22 is at most equal to the length of the interior of the container 2.
  • a stabilizing frame 24 is placed and fixed on the upper ends of the stands 12 to 22, which frame comprises longitudinal frame parts 26 and 28 and transverse frame parts 30, 32 and 34.
  • the rear side of the display case in the illustration according to FIG. 1 and the two sides of the display case adjoining it at right angles are closed by means of transparent side wall elements 40 made of glass or plexiglass, not shown in FIG. 1, and the intermediate floors of the display case are also made of transparent Floor elements 42 made of glass or plexiglass.
  • Suitable grooves are provided in the uprights 12 to 22 for holding the side wall elements and the base elements, the side wall elements or the base elements being held and guided in grooves in opposite uprights. 5 and 6 show the guide grooves using the example of the stand 18.
  • vertical guide grooves 36 for the side or intermediate wall elements and horizontal grooves 38 for the base elements are formed on the stands.
  • the vertical guide grooves 36 are accessible from above, so that the side or partition elements can be inserted into the supporting structure from above.
  • the horizontal grooves are also continuous and thus accessible from the outside from the side, so that the floor elements can be inserted laterally into the supporting structure.
  • the side of the showcase facing the viewer in the illustration according to FIG. 1 can be closed by means of sliding doors 44, which are staggered in a known manner in order to enable relative displacement relative to one another.
  • An upper and a lower guide bar 46 and 48 are provided for guiding the sliding doors at the top and bottom, the guide bars 46, 48 being able to be fixed or fixed either on the supporting frame or on the cover part 6 or bottom part 4 of the container 2 .
  • the two guide strips 46, 48 each have two parallel guide grooves (not shown) in the longitudinal direction, in which the sliding doors 44 are guided.
  • the dimensions of the individual side wall elements 40, the bottom elements 42 and the sliding doors 44 are such that they can easily be accommodated inside the container 2.
  • a lighting device 50 is installed on the inside of the cover part 6, which can be connected to the network via a plug 52 that is accessible from the outside, if required.
  • Furniture castors 54 are attached to the underside of the bottom part 4 and can be inserted in a known manner by means of pivots into guide sleeves (not shown) on the bottom part and inserted or removed if necessary can be.
  • the cover part 6 is removed, the side wall elements 40 and base elements 42 and the sliding doors 44 are pulled out of their guide grooves, the supporting structure is broken down into its individual parts and detached from the base part 4, and the stands, the frame parts and the glass plates are then stowed in the interior of the container 2 and the container is closed by placing the cover part 6 on the base part 4.
  • a wheel frame designated overall by reference number 58, which comprises a frame 60 with axles 62 and wheels 64 mounted thereon.
