Sie ist durch eine angelenkte Feder bei geöffneter Tür in eine Totlage vorgespannt, aus welcher sie beim Auftreffen des Riegelbolzens in die Schließstellung umschnappt. Ein pneumatischer Antrieb unterstützt die Schließbewegung der Drehfalle und wirkt dabei zusätzlich zum Haupttürantrieb als Schließhilfevorrichtung.
In der Schließstellung des Türblatts umfaßt die Gabeldrehfalle den Schließbolzen und bewirkt damit eine mechanische und von der Druckluft für den pneumatischen Türantrieb nur bedingt abhängige Verriegelung des Türblatts. Die Position der verriegelten Drehfalle wird durch die auf Druck beanspruchte Feder zusätzlich gesichert. Eine Sperrklinke zur mechanischen Verrastung der Drehfalle in der Schließstellung ist allerdings nicht vorgesehen.

In Figur 1 ist ein Türblatt 1 einer Außenschwingtür, das in geschlossener Stellung eine durch einen Rahmen 2 gebildete Türöffnung in einer Fahrzeugseitenwand verschließt - wobei natürlich nicht dargestellte elastische Dichtungen rundum die verbleibenden Spalte schließen -, mit schematisch angedeuteten und später noch näher beschriebenen Komponenten der Sicherheitsverriegelung in einer Ansicht von außerhalb des Fahrzeugs dargestellt. Die Sicherheitsverriegelung umfaßt ein Drehfallenschloß 3 (Fig. 2), das innerhalb des Türblattes 1 selbst angeordnet ist und mit einem am Rahmen 2 einstellbar angeordneten Schließkeil 4 korrespondiert. Zum Öffnen des Drehfallenschlosses 3 auf Knopfdruck ist ebenfalls innerhalb des Türblattes 1 ein Türöffnerantrieb 5 vorgesehen, der durch Fremdkraft, also elektrisch oder - vorzugsweise - pneumatisch betrieben werden kann und über eine gestrichelt angedeutete Wirkverbindung 6, z. B. ein Gestänge, auf eine Sperrklinke (Fig. 2) des Drehfallenschlosses 3 einwirkt. Außerdem sind dem Drehfallenschloß 3 an der Außenseite des Türblatts 1 ein Türziehgriff 7 und ein Schließzylinder 8 zugeordnet.
Am Türrahmen 2 ist innen ein Nothahn 9 angeordnet, der entsprechend den geltenden Sicherheitsbestimmungen in bekannter Weise zum Drucklosmachen (Entlüften) des pneumatischen Türschließsystems dient und außerdem über eine gestrichelte Wirkverbindung 10 mit dem Schließkeil 4 gekuppelt ist. Diese mechanische Funktionseinheit wird später noch eingehend anhand von Figuren 3 und 4 beschrieben.
Zusätzlich ist auch an der Außenseite des Fahrzeugs unter einer im Notfall zur Hilfeleistung von außen zu zerbrechenden durchsichtigen Scheibe ein Nothahn 9' zur Entlüftung des Türdruckluftsystems vorgesehen. Wird dieser Nothahn 9' betätigt, so kann das Türblatt 1 durch Ziehen an dem Türziehgriff 7 geöffnet werden, vorausgesetzt, das Drehfallenschloß 3 ist über den Schließzylinder 8 entriegelt. Bei verriegeltem Schloß ist daher jeder Mißbrauch des außenseitigen Nothahns 9' zu einem unbefugten Eindringen in das Fahrzeug ausgeschlossen.

Zur Steuerung dieser Schließhilfevorrichtungen ist ebenfalls am Türrahmen ein Steuergerät 13 vorgesehen, welches von einem am Türblatt 1 einstellbar befestigten Betätigungsbauteil 14 beaufschlagbar ist, wenn sich das Türblatt 1 seiner geschlossenen Stellung annähert. Bei den großen Gewichten von derartigen Türblättern ist es nicht möglich, die Schließhilfskräfte in bekannter Weise allein z. B. über die Schloßdrehfalle einzuleiten. Andererseits kann nun aber das Drehfallenschloß einfach und kompakt aufgebaut sein. Ein nur schematisch angedeuteter pneumatischer Hauptantrieb 15 des Türblatts 1 kann von konventioneller Bauart (Wandermutter/Spindel) und am Fahrzeugchassis befestigt sein, wobei er das Türblatt im Unterschied zu gängigen Hauptantrieben in der geschlossenen Stellung nicht anzuheben braucht. Er besteht im wesentlichen aus einem Hubzylinder 16, dessen Hubbewegung mechanisch in eine Drehbewegung einer Ausgangs- bzw. Antriebswelle 17 übersetzt wird. Mit der Antriebswelle wiederum sind in bekannter Weise Schwenkarme 18 verbunden, die an dem Türblatt 1 in einer Achse 19 angelenkt sind. Die Gabeldrehfalle 21 ist in ihrer Freigabestellung gezeichnet und in Freigaberichtung (hier: im Uhrzeigersinn) durch eine Drehfeder (durch Pfeil an Achse 23 angedeutet) vorgespannt, während die Sperrklinke 24 in ihre Sperrstellung in Richtung auf die Gabeldrehfalle 21 ebenfalls im Uhrzeigersinn durch eine andere Drehfeder (durch Pfeil an Achse 25 angedeutet) vorgespannt ist.
Wenn die Gabeldrehfalle 21 in der - strichpunktiert angedeuteten - Sperrstellung steht und das Türblatt 1 sich in seiner geschlossenen Stellung befindet, umfaßt das Gabelmaul 22 einen Bolzen bzw. einen Teil einer Schließöse des Schließkeils 4 (gestrichelt angedeutet, vgl. Fig. 3), während die Sperrklinke 24 in der strichpunktiert angedeuteten Position außen an dem Schenkel 21H und damit an der Hauptrast der Gabeldrehfalle 21 angreift und diese in der Sperrstellung festlegt. Zum Öffnen des Drehfallenschlosses 3 bzw. zum Verbringen der Gabeldrehfalle 21 von der Sperr- in die Freigabestellung ist es notwendig, die Sperrklinke 24 entgegen ihrer Vorspannkraft außer Eingriff mit der Hauptrast des Schenkels 21H zu bringen. Zu diesem Zweck kann die Sperrklinke 23 über ein durch eine doppelte Strichellinie angedeutetes Gestänge oder dgl. (welches zu der in Figur 1 angedeuteten Wirkverbindung 6 gehört) entweder manuell z. B. mittels des in Figur 1 gezeigten Türziehgriffs 7 oder durch Fremdkraft mittels des Türöffnerantriebs 5 ausgehoben werden, worauf die Gabeldrehfalle 21 durch ihre Drehfeder verschwenkt wird und den Bolzen bzw. den Schließkeil freigibt. An der Sperrklinke 24 ist zu diesem Zweck ein Anlenkpunkt 26 vorgesehen, mit dem das Aushebegestänge gekuppelt werden kann, das anderseitig in der üblichen Weise entkuppelbar mit dem Türziehgriff und fest mit dem Türöffnerantrieb verbunden ist.

In seiner vorliegenden Konfiguration bietet der Schließkeil 4 neben der mechanischen Festlegung des Türblatts 1 im Zusammenwirken mit der Gabeldrehfalle 21 noch die zusätzliche Möglichkeit, bei Betätigung des Nothahns 9 das Türblatt 1 unverzüglich und ohne Einwirkung auf das Drehfallenschloß 3 selbst zu öffnen.
Der Schließkeil 4 besteht zu diesem Zweck aus mehreren Teilen, nämlich zunächst aus einer Grund- oder Trägerplatte 28, die am Türrahmen 2 befestigt ist, einem fest mit dieser verbundenen Winkelstück 29 mit einem freien Ende 29E, einem um eine Achse 30 schwenkbar an der Trägerplatte 28 angelenkten bewegbaren Winkelstück 31 mit einem freien Ende 31E und einem um eine Achse 32 ebenfalls schwenkbar an der Trägerplatte 28 angelenkten, zweiarmigen Sperrhebel 33. Das feste Winkelstück 29 und das bewegbare Winkelstück 31 schließen zwischen sich die solchermaßen zweigeteilte Schließöse 27 ein, wobei ihre freien Enden 29E bzw. 31E zumindest aneinanderliegen. Es versteht sich, daß abweichend von der dargestellten Ausführung der freien Enden 29E und 31E auch überlappende oder ineinandergreifende Formen vorgesehen werden können, insbesondere wenn eine Abstützung des bewegbaren Winkelteils 31 an dem festen Winkelteil 29 auch in Achsrichtung der Schließöse 27 - die in Figur 3 senkrecht zur Zeichnungsebene verläuft - für notwendig erachtet werden sollte.

Die Wirkverbindung 10 kann je nach konstruktiven Gegebenheiten z. B. als Bowdenzug, Stahlseil oder Gestänge ausgeführt werden.

Die Schwenkachse 44 des zweiarmigen Hebels 43 durchsetzt die Grundplatte 39, wobei ein zweiter Arm 45 gegenüber dem ersten Arm 42 auf der anderen - im Einbauzustand in der Türöffnung sichtbaren - Seite der Grundplatte 39 angeordnet ist. Diese Seite mit dem Arm 45 ist in Figur 6 gezeigt, aus der hervorgeht, daß der Arm 45 hakenoder nasenartig geformt ist. Auf derselben Seite der Grundplatte 39 ist ferner noch ein prismatisches Zentrierstück 46 befestigt. Ohne Darstellung des Türblatts 1 ist hier noch ein trapezförmiger Querschnitt eines der ebenfalls bereits in Figur 1 angedeuteten, am Türblatt 1 befestigten Schließbolzen 12 im Verhältnis zu dem zweiten Arm 45 gestrichelt in der Annäherungsstellung - in welcher das Türblatt 1 kurz vor seiner geschlossenen Stellung steht - und strichpunktiert in der gesicherten Lage gezeigt. In letzterer ist der Schließbolzen 12 ersichtlich zwischen dem zweiten Arm 45 und dem Zentrierstück 46 eingeklemmt.
Im Einbauzustand verläuft die Schwenkachse 44 des zweiarmigen Hebels 43 senkrecht zur Bewegungsrichtung des Türblatts 1 beim Eintauchen in die Türöffnung. Wird also der zweite Arm 45 gemäß Figur 6 im Gegenuhrzeigersinn geschwenkt, so zieht er den Schließbolzen 12 gegen das Zentrierstück 46 bzw. in dessen prismatische Ausnehmung und darüber das Türblatt 1 in seine geschlossene Stellung. Hieraus ergibt sich eine quasi formschlüssige Festlegung des Türblatts 1 in allen Richtungen.

Die Ruhelage ist gegenüber der gezeigten Betätigungslage im Uhrzeigersinn geschwenkt. Trifft das Betätigungsbauteil 14 auf den Schwenkhebel 48 und bringt diesen in die gezeichnete Stellung, so wird mittels des Schwenkhebels 48 ein nicht näher dargestelltes Wegeventil des Steuergeräts, das ebenfalls an der Grundplatte 47 befestigt sein kann, umgeschaltet. Dieses verbindet im ungeschalteten Ruhezustand die Arbeitskammern der Schließhilfeantriebe 40 der Schließhilfevorrichtungen 11 mit der Atmosphäre, während es im geschalteten Zustand die Zufuhr von Druckluft zu den Stellzylindern ermöglicht. Die Druckluft wird dabei von der Versorgung des Hauptantriebs geliefert.
Ersichtlich wird also die Schließhilfe bzw. Kraftunterstützung durch die Bewegung des Türblatts 1 selbst gesteuert.

Im folgenden wird nun die Funktionsweise der Sicherheitsverriegelung kurz beschrieben.The operation of the safety lock is now briefly described below.

Grundsätzlich kann das geschlossene Türblatt 1 gegen Öffnen von außen durch Schlüsselbetätigung des Schließzylinders 8 verriegelt werden, wobei in bekannter Weise der Türziehgriff 7 von dem Betätigungsgestänge des Drehfallenschlosses 3 entkuppelt und damit freigängig wird. Sollte ein Drehfallenschloß an einem besonders großen Türblatt nicht zur Sicherung ausreichen, so ist es ohne weiteres möglich, die Anordnung zu verdoppeln, wobei z. B. auf beiden Längsseiten des Türblatts je ein Schloß angeordnet werden kann, welche dann beide mit je einem Sicherheitsschließkeil gemäß Figuren 4 und 5 korrespondieren. Durch die Schließhilfeantriebe wird in jedem Fall sicheres Einrasten der Drehfallenverschlüsse gewährleistet.
Im Normalfall wird an einem Omnibus nur ein Schließzylinder an der Passagiereinstiegseite - in der Regel an der vorderen Tür - vorgesehen sein, so daß im vorliegenden Fall der Schloßverriegelung die weiteren Schlösser über zugeordnete Zentralverriegelungs-Stellelemente in gleicher Weise gesichert werden können. Eine weitere Bedienstelle kann sich auf der Fahrerseite im Schließzylinder der Fahrertür befinden. Zu diesem Zweck sind dem Schließzylinder 8 in bekannter Weise elektrische Steuerschalter zugeordnet, welche ihrerseits zur elektrischen Steuerung von Magnetventilen dienen, über welche die erwähnten Zentralverriegelungs-Stellelemente an Luftdruck anschließbar sind. Zusätzlich können diese Schalter natürlich in ebenfalls bekannter Weise auch zur Steuerung einer Alarmanlage oder sonstiger Einbruchsicherungssysteme verwendet werden.
Zum Öffnen des Türblatts 1 muß, ausgehend vom verriegelten Zustand, zuerst der Schließzylinder 8 mittels Schlüssels im Entriegelungssinn betätigt werden. Es kann hierbei in vorteilhafter Weise ein Steuerschalter am Schließzylinder 8 dazu vorgesehen bzw. benutzt werden, analog zu dem üblichen Fahrertaster, der zum Türöffnen durch den Fahrer von innen vorgesehen ist, bzw. funktional parallel zu diesem gleichzeitig mit der entriegelnden Schlüsselbetätigung des Schließzylinders 8 den luftdruckunterstützten Öffnungsvorgang einzuleiten. Es kann aber auch an der Außenseite des Fahrzeugs ein separater Drucktaster für den Öffnungsvorgang vorgesehen werden, der allerdings nur bei entriegeltem Drehfallenschloß bzw. Schließzylinder elektrisch wirksam geschaltet sein darf.
Diese Anordnung hat den Vorteil, daß die mechanische Türentriegelung bereits vor der Druckbeaufschlagung vollzogen ist, so daß weder ein durch den Öffnungsdruck des Hauptantriebs verursachtes Verklemmen der Schloßmechanik noch ein plötzliches Aufprallen des Türblatts nach mechanischer Freigabe vorkommen kann.

Die Schließhilfeantriebe 40 werden beim Öffnen des Türblatts 1 voreilend drucklos geschaltet; sie dienen nur der Kraftunterstützung des Schließvorgangs und der zusätzlichen Türsicherung während des Fahrbetriebs. Hierzu ist zusätzlich zu dem durch das Steuergerät 13 betätigten Ventil noch ein Belüftungsventil in der Versorgungsleitung der Schließhilfeantriebe 40 angeordnet, welches diese auch dann mit der Atmosphäre verbinden kann, wenn das Ventil des Steuergeräts 13 geschaltet ist.

Bei einer Betätigung des außen angeordneten Nothahns 9' kann dagegen das Türblatt 1 erst nach Betätigung des Türziehgriffs 7 und Aufheben der mechanischen Schloßsicherung geöffnet werden.

  1. A safety locking arrangement for a door leaf (1) of a swinging or pivoting door adapted to be opened and closed by an external force, particularly pneumatically, particularly intended for doors of omnibuses and comprising
    - a main drive (15) acting on the door leaf (1) in order to open and close it,
    - a rotary latch (21) which cooperates with an abutment (4) and which, in engagement therewith, mechanically holds the closed door leaf (1) in the closed position,
    - at least one auxiliary closing device (11) which assists the main drive (15) upon closing of the door leaf (1) with regard to the engagement of the rotary latch (21),
    - a drive (5) which produces a release of the abutment (4) by the rotary latch (21) prior to opening of the door leaf (1),
    characterised by
    - the disposition of at least one rotary latch lock (3) with a bifurcated rotary latch (21) and a locking pawl (24) on the door leaf (1),
    - corresponding to the rotary latch lock (3) and disposed on the frame (2) of a door aperture which can be occluded by the door leaf (1), a locking wedge (4) which serves as an abutment and which is constructed to be normally closed but in an emergency however opened by a locking ring (27) which can be opened mechanically via an operative connection (10),
    - the use of a mechanically effective connection (6) to couple to the locking pawl (24) of the rotary latch lock (3) a drive (5) which releases the locking wedge (4) by the rotary latch (21) prior to opening of the door leaf (1),
    - spatially separated from the rotary latch lock (3) an arrangement of at least two auxiliary closing devices (11) which act between the frame (2) and the door leaf (1) and with each of which there is associated an auxiliary closing drive (40) which assists the main drive (15) during closure of the door leaf (1), with regard to engagement of the locking pawl (24) into a main catch (21H) of the rotary latch (21) and fixing of the door leaf (1) in the closed position,
    - a control means (13) actuated at least indirectly by the closing movement of the door leaf (1), for activating the auxiliary locking drives (40) of the auxiliary locking devices (11) when the door leaf (1) approaches its closed position.
  2. A safety locking arrangement according to Claim 1, further containing
    - a safety lock (8) which be locked and unlocked by means of a key and by which the door leaf (1) can be closed against unauthorised opening from outside,
    characterised in that
    the safety lock constructed as a locking cylinder (8) is operatively connected to a switch, particularly an electrical switch, which is connected in parallel functionally with, operable by the motor vehicle driver, an internal push-button switch for opening the door leaf (1) by an outside force and which is only actuated when the key operating the safety lock (8) is moved in an unlocking direction.
  3. A safety locking arrangement according to Claim 1, furthermore containing
    - a safety lock (8) which can be locked and unlocked by means of a key and by which the door leaf (1) can be closed against unauthorised opening from outside,
    characterised in that
    - the safety lock which is constructed as a cylinder lock (8) is operatively connected to an electrical switch which generates a signal when the safety lock is unlocked,
    - and in that there is on the outside of the vehicle a push switch for opening the door leaf (1) and which can only be effectively and electrically operated when the safety lock is released and there is an appropriate signal from the switch connected to the safety lock.
  4. A safety locking arrangement according to one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that
    a door pull handle (7) is, for opening of the door leaf (1) from outside, coupled via an operative connection (6) and a coupling separable by releasing of the rotary latch (3) from outside (locking cylinder (8) to the locking pawl (24) of the rotary latch lock (3).
  5. A safety locking arrangement according to one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised by
    - an actuating component (14) mounted adjustably on the door leaf (1) and associated with the control means (13) for the pneumatic auxiliary closing drives (40) of the auxiliary closing devices (11) and
    - a pivot lever (48) which protrudes into the path of movement of the actuating component (14) when the door leaf (1) is approaching its closed position, in order to actuate a valve which connects the pneumatic auxiliary drives (40) to a compressed air supply.
  6. A safety locking arrangement according to Claim 5,
    characterised by
    a venting valve for the single-acting spring-restorable auxiliary locking drives (40) which connects these latter temporarily to atmospheric pressure upon an opening of the closed door leaf (1).
  7. A safety locking arrangement according to one of the preceding Claims,
    comprising furthermore an emergency actuating means (9, 10) for manual mechanical releasing of engagement between the rotary latch (21) and the abutment (4),
    characterised by
    - a movable angled part (31) of the locking wedge (4) having a free end (31E), the said movable part (31) being supported in immovable manner when the locking ring (27) is closed, in order to form an abutment and
    - a releasable brace (locking lever 33) for the movable part (31) so that when the brace is removed, it is possible for the locking ring (25) to open when the abutment is loaded in an opening direction.
  8. A safety locking arrangement according to Claim 7,
    characterised by
    a fixed angled part (29) of the locking ring (27) along with the movable angled part (31) by a free end (29E), whereby the free ends (29E, 21E) of the two parts (29, 31) are, when the locking ring (27) is closed, at least approximately abutting, the two parts (29, 31) being adapted to close the locking ring (27) between them.
  9. A safety locking arrangement according to Claim 7 or 8,
    characterised by
    - extending parallel with the axial direction of the locking ring (27) a spindle (30) by which one arm of the movable angled part (31) of the locking ring (27) is pivotally mounted, the other arm comprising the free end (31E) and whereby
    - external engagement of the bracing means (locking lever 33, member 36) is possible at a distance from the axis (30) in the vicinity of the apex of the angling of the movable part (31).
  10. A safety locking arrangement according to one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised by
    mounted to be pivotable on a spindle (32), a locking lever (33) with one free end (36E) for direct supporting of the movable part (31) which, via a point of articulation (35) of an operative connection (10) is pivotable about its axis (32) to cancel out the bracing effect.
  11. A safety locking arrangement according to Claim 10,
    characterised by,
    in relation to the axis (32), a two-armed construction of the locking lever (33) with two arms (34, 36) of which one (36) has the free end (36E) while the other (34) has the articulation point (35).
  12. A safety locking arrangement according to Claim 10 or 11,
    characterised by
    a spring (38) for pre-tensioning the locking lever (33) in its position which ensures bracing of the movable part (31).
  13. A safety locking arrangement according to Claims 8 and 12,
    characterised by
    direct supporting of the spring-loaded locking lever (33) via the movable part (31) and of its free end (31E) on the free end (29E) of the fixed angled part (29).
  14. A safety locking arrangement according to one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised by
    a spring (37) for pre-tensioning the movable part (31) into its inoperative position which closes the two-part locking ring (27).
  15. A safety locking arrangement according to one of Claims 10 to 14, in which the emergency actuating means (9, 10) is coupled to an emergency valve (9) to actuate a venting valve,
    characterised in that
    the locking lever (33) is coupled to the emergency valve (9) mechanically via the operative connection (10).
  16. A safety locking arrangement according to Claim 15,
    characterised by
    a clearly defined idle travel in the operative connection (10) in the arrangement so that initially in a first stage of actuation of the emergency valve (9) the venting valve is actuated and after the idle travel has been negotiated, and in a second stage, the locking lever (33) is actuated.
  17. A safety locking arrangement according to Claim 16,
    characterised by
    an overridable pressure point between the first and second stages of actuation of the emergency valve (9).
  18. A safety locking arrangement according to one of Claims 10 to 17,
    characterised by
    a further emergency valve (9') which can be operated from outside the vehicle and which is provided solely for venting the compressed air system of the door.
  19. A safety locking arrangement according to Claim 18,
    characterised by
    a transparent covering over the further emergency valve (9') and which can be removed only by being destroyed.
