- A door locking mechanism in a passenger transport vehicle, in particular for a swinging or pivoting door in a bus, with a safety lock which can be locked and unlocked by means of a key (2), with which the door to be opened and closed can be secured against unauthorised opening from outside by means of a reversible mechanism (12),
characterised in that
the safety lock comprises a lock cylinder (1) which interacts with a switch (6), in particular an electric switch, which is functionally connected in parallel to an internal push button which can be operated by the vehicle driver to open and close the door by means of the mechanism (12) and is actuated only by turning the key in the lock cylinder (1) in the unlocking direction to generate a switching signal. - A door locking mechanism in accordance with Claim 1,
characterised in that
the lock cylinder (1) can be turned from a neutral key removal position in two opposite directions, i.e. in the locking and unlocking directions to mechanically lock and unlock the door and
that the switch (6) can be activated by means of a cam (5) which acts upon it only when the lock cylinder (1) is turned in the unlocking direction. - A door locking mechanism in accordance with Claim 1 or 2,

the switching signals from the switch (6) can be sent to a switchgear (11) to activate at least one reversible door mechanism (12) on the door skin designed to open and close the door,
whereby the switching signal actuates the door mechanism (12) in the opening direction when the door is closed or closing and actuates the door mechanism (12) in the closing direction when the door is open or opening. - A door locking mechanism in accordance with Claim 1 or 3,
characterised in that
a time function element (10) is fitted which delays the activation of the door mechanism (12) in relation to the generation of the switching signal by the switch (6) by a pre-determined length of time by means of the switchgear (11). - A door locking mechanism in accordance with Claim 1 or 3,
characterised in that
a central locking system (15) with actuators (15E) connected to further locks can also be activated in the unlocking direction by the switching signal from the switch (6), and
that another switch (14), in particular an electric switch, can be activated by a cam (13) which acts upon it only when the lock cylinder (1) is turned in the locking direction, the switching signal from which activates the central locking system (15) in the locking direction. - A door locking mechanism in accordance with Claim 5,
characterised in that
the switching signals from the two switches (6 and 14) are used to control an alarm system or other anti-theft system.
