Definitions

  • the invention relates to a wood-metal frame for windows, doors or the like, consisting of a room-side wooden frame, on which a one-piece metal frame is clipped on the weather side, which, with the interposition of a weather-side seal under pressure, is supported on a support surface of the wooden frame plate-shaped element, preferably rests on a glass pane and presses it with the interposition of a room-side seal against a contact fold formed in one piece with the wooden frame, clip parts being provided for releasable connection of the two frames to one another, which are arranged at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction of the frame profile and face one another at right angles on the weather side Support the support surface of the wooden frame lying in the frame plane and engage between two parallel webs of the metal frame running in the longitudinal direction of the profile, of which the inner web has an undercut of a clip ges engages behind the clip part, while the outer web is supported with its free edge pointing towards the inside of the room on a section of the clip part.
  • the clip part is in one piece made of plastic formed of material, with a connecting pin pull-out but rotatably pressed into the contact surface of the wooden frame and rests with a base plate on this contact surface.
  • the clip part has two parallel, projecting from the base plate mentioned, overlapped by the two webs of the metal frame, resilient clip webs, which are seen somewhat offset from one another in the longitudinal direction of the profile and are bevelled on both sides in parallel, the distance between the two bevels being smaller than the smallest clear distance between the two bridges.
  • CH-492 864 discloses a wood-metal frame for windows, doors or the like, consisting of a room-side wooden frame, on the weather side of which a one-piece metal frame is clipped, which, with the interposition of a weather-side seal, presses against a glass pane and this with the interposition of a room-side seal against a two-part contact fold formed with the wooden frame.
  • clip parts are provided which are arranged at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction of the frame profile, are supported on the weather side on a contact surface of the wooden frame lying in the plane of the frame and engage between two parallel webs of the metal frame running in the longitudinal direction of the profile, of which the inner, the web located below the glass pane with its free edge pointing towards the inside of the room engages behind the free end of a resilient support leg articulated on the clip part, while the outside web is supported on the wooden frame with its free edge facing the inside of the room.
  • the clip part leg lying in the frame plane merges at its outer end into a locking leg standing at right angles on the frame plane, which, with its free end pointing towards the weather side, engages over an inner locking lug of the outer web of the metal frame.
  • the clip part leg lying in the frame level merges at its other end into a clip web, which is at right angles on the frame level and points towards the inside of the room, which is completely covered by the internal web of the metal frame, rests on the wooden frame and has a web edge angled outward in the shape of a hook engages in a groove arranged in the wooden frame support surface and extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile.
  • the clip parts are attached to the wooden frame by means of a screw connection.
  • holes are provided in the inner web of the metal frame corresponding to the clip parts, through which a tool can be inserted in order to separate each of the clip parts by pushing away or deforming the resilient supporting leg to enable both frames.
  • these holes are covered by the glass pane, so that the metal frame can only be separated from the wooden frame after the glass pane has been removed.
  • the invention has for its object to develop a particularly easy-to-assemble clip part for the wood-metal frame described above, which nevertheless allows glazing without destroying the metal frame.
  • the clip web extends over the support surface of the wooden frame to below the plate-shaped element, engages with a hook-shaped angled outwardly web edge in a arranged in the support surface and extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile and is supported on the support surface via a support leg articulated in the area of the edge of the web, which on the weather side merges at a right angle into a locking leg which is parallel to the wooden frame contact surface and which engages behind the outside drip edge with a hook-shaped bent edge to the inside of the room.
  • the locking leg of the clip part is supported on the wooden frame contact surface by means of a spacer.
  • the locking leg lies between two sections of a weatherproof clip part leg, which forms the support for the outer metal frame web and is at a clear distance from the wooden frame contact surface.
  • the clip part designed according to the invention is also designed in one piece and is preferably made of plastic.
  • the clip parts are used to control the reaction forces generated by the compression of the seals when the metal frame is pressed on, as well as the forces exerted by wind, suction and thermal movements on the glazing and on the outer metal profile in the statically load-bearing wooden frame .
  • the clip parts also form a detachable connection between the outer metal frame exposed to weathering, which is preferably made of aluminum, and the inner wooden frame. The different expansions of the two frame materials must be compensated for without impairing the function of the window or door.
  • the function of the clip part should also be guaranteed for years, even with large temperature fluctuations and moisture loads.
  • the clip part designed according to the invention can be attached to the wooden frame without any aids. It is advantageous that no exact positioning relative to the wooden frame has to be provided for the clip parts. Apart from the incorporation of a single groove, which extends in the longitudinal direction of the profile, into the supporting surface of the wooden frame, the latter does not require any processing to fix the clip parts. These are only pressed into the groove with their hook-shaped angled outward edge of the rim and pressed over the drip edge of the wooden frame with their hook-like bent edge of the locking leg towards the inside of the room. In order to avoid longitudinal displacement of the pre-assembled clip parts, each clip part can have tips or the like, which are pressed into the wooden frame when the clip parts are assembled.
  • Each clip part is composed of a rigid angular part and a part resilient against it.
  • the rigid angle part is composed of the support leg and the locking leg and is supported on two surfaces of the wooden frame that are perpendicular to one another, namely on the support surface mentioned and the weather-side contact surface described. In these two surfaces perpendicular to each other, the rigid angular part is also positively fixed, firstly by the said web edge and secondly by the external hook-shaped edge.
  • each clip part comprises the inner clip web and possibly the weather-side leg, which is located on both sides in front of the locking leg with its two sections and can be pivoted somewhat by its clear distance from the wooden frame contact surface.
  • This is also approximately angular in cross section trained resilient part is resiliently connected to the rigid angular part in a region adjacent to the web edge of the rigid angular part, the limited pivoting being able to take place about an imaginary axis running parallel to this web edge.
  • the metal frame can be pressed onto the clip parts preassembled in the wooden frame without high mechanical pressure, with no prior adjustment of the clip parts being required.
  • the clip part has a slightly inwardly inclined guide strip on its weather-side section, which forms a run-up slope for the outer web of the metal frame for its assembly.
  • the guide bar is formed by at least one clip tongue, the free tongue end of which, pointing downward towards the contact surface, lies in its locking position with its locking lug inside immediately next to or above the free edge of the outer web of the metal frame and can be pressed inwards or upwards into its unlocking position with a tool, in which the tongue end engages behind a locking device and releases the free edge of the outer web with its locking lug.
  • a clip tongue is arranged on both sides of the locking leg of the clip part.
  • the clip tongue is so close with its locking nose next to the free edge of the outer web of the metal frame that the latter can not be clipped out. If the metal frame is to be removed, the clip tongue must e.g. B. with a screwdriver so far inward or upward until it automatically engages behind a locking provided on the weather side leg of the clip part. As a result, the clip tongue is locked in its pressed-in position, in which the locking lug releases the free edge of the outer web of the metal frame, so that the metal frame can be removed without the clip web having to be pressed down.
  • the undercut provided on the tongue of the clip part for engaging the inner web of the metal frame could also be omitted; a contact surface at right angles to the clip web would be sufficient.
  • the clip tongue can be released from its locking by hand or again with a screwdriver and thus brought back into its starting position.
  • the web edge of the clip part has a resilient clamping leg and if the clamping leg has external teeth.
  • the window sash 1 shown in detail in FIG. 1 consists of a wooden frame 2 on the room side, onto which a one-piece metal frame 3 is clipped on the weather side, which with the interposition of a weather-side seal 4 under pressure on a block (not shown) on a support surface 5 of the wooden frame 2 supported glass pane 6 and presses this with the interposition of a room-side seal 7 against a one-piece formed with the wooden frame 2 contact fold 8.
  • clip parts 9 are provided which are arranged at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction of the frame profile.
  • Each clip part 9 is formed in one piece from plastic, is supported on the weather side on a contact surface 19 of the wooden frame 2 lying at right angles to the support surface 5 in the frame plane and engages between two parallel, perpendicular to the profile longitudinal direction Contact surface 19 standing webs 20, 21 of the metal frame 3, of which the inner web 20 engages behind an undercut 18 of a clip web 13 of the clip part 9, while the outer web 21 with its free edge facing the inside of the room engages on a weather-side leg 12 of the clip part 9 supports.
  • the clip web 13 extends over the support surface 5 of the wooden frame 2 to below the plate-shaped element 6 shown as a glass pane and engages with a hook edge 11 which is angled outward in a hook-like manner in a groove 23 arranged in the support surface 5 and extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile.
  • the clip web 13 is supported on the support surface 5 via a support leg 10 articulated in the region of the web edge 11, which on the weather side merges at a right angle into a locking leg 15 which is parallel to the wooden frame contact surface 19 and whose outer drip edge 22 has a hook-like shape toward the inside of the room bent edge 15a engages behind or engages behind.
  • the locking leg 15 of the clip part 9 is supported on the wooden frame contact surface 19 by a spacer 15b which ensures a rear ventilation.
  • the locking leg 15 lies between two sections of the above-mentioned clip-side leg 12, which is at a clear distance from the wooden frame contact surface 19 (see FIG. 1).
  • Each clip part 9 has on the two sections of its weather-side leg 12 a slightly inwardly inclined guide bar 14, which forms a ramp 14a for the outer web 21 of the metal frame 3 for its assembly.
  • a second slide-on bevel 16 is provided on a tongue 17 of the clip web 13 on the weather side, so that the metal frame 3 is guided over the two bevels 14a, 16 when it is placed on, until the inside web 20 engages in the undercut 18 of the clip web 13 with its hook-shaped bent edge and the outer web 21 rests with its free edge on the two sections of the weather-side leg 12 of the clip part 9.
  • FIGS. 4 and 5 show a modified embodiment for the clip part 9. Thereafter, the guide bar 14 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 is formed by a clip tongue 24 arranged on both sides of the locking leg 15, the free tongue end of which, pointing downward towards the contact surface 19 of the wooden frame 2, forms a locking lug 25, while from there by approximately 90 ° upward bent free edge of the clip tongue 24 is formed as a hook 26.
  • FIG. 4 shows the clip tongue 24 in its locking position, in which the said locking lug 25 lies on the inside immediately next to or above the free edge of the outer web 21 of the metal frame 3.
  • the metal frame 3 can therefore not be removed in the direction of the arrow; unclipping of the metal frame is thus prevented by the clip tongues 24.
  • the clip tongues 24 are released from the locking position shown in FIG. 5 by hand or with the aid of a tool, so that they can resume their starting position shown in Figure 4 due to their resilient properties.
  • the web edge 11 of the clip part 9 can have a spring-elastic clamping leg 11a, which is provided with external teeth 28. This ensures simple and safe installation in the groove 23 of the wooden frame 2.
