Definitions
- the invention relates to a tablet dispenser for the individual dosage of tablets, in particular sweetener tablets according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a tablet dispenser of the type mentioned at the outset has also become known from CH-A-647 475, which, contrary to the endeavor to assemble the tablet dispenser from as few as possible, namely only two parts, consists of a total of three parts, namely the housing, the in this matching box-shaped container and finally the actual slide for separating and ejecting the tablet is composed.
- the housing is approximately C-shaped and contains a box-shaped container part that can be inserted therein, the bottom of which is gripped by the free C-legs.
- the discharge channel is arranged directly adjacent to one of the flat container walls and inclined guide surfaces lead to this channel.
- the tablet dispenser mentioned at the outset is characterized in that the slide is frame-shaped and the outer contour of its side webs lying in the sliding direction essentially corresponds to the inner contour of the container, that its side webs running in the sliding direction run along side walls of the container, that a the two side webs of the slide connecting wall piece on which the open side of the container covering the conversion of the housing is adjacent or directly adjacent and is displaceable relative to this and that the narrow side of this wall facing away from the discharge channel in the use position in the rest or initial position of the slide about half to full stroke length of the slide is higher than the lower edge of an inclined bottom part belonging to the container, which inclined bottom part closes from the container bottom lying against the inside of the housing leads to the output channel.
- the slide can easily return to its starting position by means of a return spring, even if practically the entire tablet supply is still present within the tablet dispenser.
- the wall belonging to this slide which is displaceable relative to the housing and in particular its narrow side, destroys any bridges or canting or mutual jamming of tablets. It plays a role that the narrow side of this wall, due to its arrangement and the stroke length of the slide, is moved back through that area of the tablet dispenser which has a certain constriction and feed to the dispensing channel, where the risk of jamming is greatest.
- the dispensing channel is arranged at a distance from the two narrow side walls of the container, preferably in the middle between them. This results in a largely symmetrical arrangement and the dispensing channel is thus reached approximately equally well from practically all points of the container, that is to say the disadvantages of an eccentric and one-sided arrangement of this dispensing channel can be avoided in a simple manner.
- the jamming wall of the slide can come into effect well, since it can push the tablets striving to separate and dispense into the constriction in front of the dispensing channel back to both sides of this dispensing channel.
- Possibly jammed tablets can be separated and released from one another during the return movement of the slide by the wall connecting the side webs if the narrow side of this wall is profiled, preferably wavy or serrated. Due to such unevenness in the course of the narrow side of this wall, mutually wedged tablets may be touched at somewhat different times and the better separated from one another.
- These waves or serrations of the profiled narrow side of the wall connecting the side webs of the slide can have a greatest width, which corresponds to approximately half to the entire diameter or half to the entire side length of a tablet.
- An excessively large dimension of the individual waves or spikes could result in two tablets being taken up within a wave trough and then no longer being separated from one another, while an excessively small dimension for the correspondingly larger tablets would have the same effect as a smooth, continuous narrow side.
- the narrow side of the wall connecting the side webs of the slide cross-section from its side facing the inside of the container to the inside the housing wall rises, in particular beveled or rounded. In this way, this wall during the return movement the slide also act like a scraper, which lifts tablets near the housing wall from it and thus prevents or reduces friction and jamming in this area.
- the fixed side web which forms one side or side boundary of the dispensing channel
- the resilient side web opposite it on the dispensing channel is integrally formed on the slide.
- this resilient side web can carry out the necessary evasive movements during the adjustment of the slide. No parts required for separating and dispensing the tablets are required at all on the housing itself.
- the side webs of the frame-shaped slide have a lower cross-sectional height than the side walls of the container arranged parallel to them and if the cross-sectional height of the side webs corresponds approximately to the corresponding cross-sectional thickness of the output channel or less.
- the slide can continue into the discharge channel and its resilient side web and can be moved relative to the container without any problems, even though the container has a larger cross section than this discharge channel before entering the discharge channel.
- the entire slide can be arranged in or between the planes which run parallel to its displacement and the corresponding boundaries of the output channel.
- the container can be in front of the discharge channel in the discharge direction expand over the above-mentioned sloping bottom piece, so that a relatively large tablet supply can still be accommodated by the container. If the dispensing channel is positioned largely vertically or also obliquely downwards, all the tablets then gradually reach this dispensing channel without additional shaking movements being required.
- the side bars of the slide can have an approximately wedge-shaped or triangular cross-section, with one triangle side on the container wall, the other triangle side on the inside of the Bearing outer casing and the third triangle side of this cross section connects the ends of the aforementioned triangular sides.
- the tablet dispenser is held obliquely by the user in such a way that the tablets are not supported on the bottom of the box-shaped container, but rather on the open side thereof on the inside of the housing wall, they cannot nevertheless be clamped between the slide bars and the container bottom, since due to the above-mentioned oblique delimitation of the webs towards the inside of the container, there is no shoulder in which tablets could jam.
- the inlet bevels of the container can also diverge in cross-section from bottom to top towards the open side of the container in order to form an inlet bevel with respect to the wider housing wall.
- the bottom of the container running between the side walls has a slope leading to this delivery channel near the entrance to the delivery channel, the lower and upper boundaries of which run essentially transversely and at right angles to the side walls and which is optionally funnel-shaped at an angle to this arrangement.
- the tablets are automatically guided to the dispensing channel by gravity when in use.
- the danger of mutual jamming of the tablets caused by such inclined surfaces is eliminated, however, by the fact that the slide in this area has the aforementioned wall with a narrow side which passes through this area during the return movement of the slide and releases tablets located there from possible jams.
- the side webs of the slide can also run obliquely towards one another and towards the dispensing channel, approximately at the height of the sloping floor, and the angular space formed between them can have the wall sliding along the inside of the housing to destroy jams and the like.
- the distance from the outside of the feed slope of the bottom to the inside of the inlet slope of the container can correspond to at least the stroke length of the slide in the starting position of the slide, so that it can be easily moved beyond the area of the container having the slope, without this slope are preferably extensions of the narrow sides of the container to be hindered.
- the wall of the slide connecting the regions of the side webs that run obliquely towards one another can be extended into the output channel to delimit one of the channel sides.
- a combination of one or more of the features and measures described above results in a tablet dispenser, which can advantageously have a flat housing, in which a box-like insertable container for the stored tablets is contained, which retains its position after filling and insertion , since a separate, stable, frame-shaped, well-guided slide is provided for separating and dispensing, which at the same time can fulfill the additional function of preventing or releasing tablets from jamming in the inevitably narrowing area in front of the dispensing channel in the region of inevitably narrowing.
- the individual parts can be made robust and smooth, because, for example, the slider does not fit the tight Dimensions of an output channel is bound, but can use the full width of the container over most of its guide. This slide is therefore also insensitive to jamming in its guides.
- a tablet dispenser designated as a whole, serves for the individual metering and dispensing of tablets 2, for example sweetener tablets.
- This tablet dispenser 1 is essentially composed of an outer housing 3, a box-like container 4 fitting into this housing, which thus has narrow side walls 4a and a bottom 4b like the insert or lower or inner part of a box, and one for ejecting a tablet 2 serving, generally designated 5 slider.
- the box-like container part 4 can be inserted into the housing 3, which is rectangular in cross-section according to FIG. 5 and has a total of four walls, and then lies with its narrow side walls 4a on corresponding narrow housing walls 3a, while the bottom 4b covers a large part of the area corresponding wide wall part 3 b of the housing is applied.
- the open side of the container 4 is covered and closed by the wall 3 c of the housing 3 shown at the top in FIG. 1, 3 and 5.
- the slider 5 is slidable for separating and dispensing a tablet 2 against the restoring force of a leaf spring 6 within the container 4, its two end positions being shown on the one hand in FIGS. 1 and 2 and on the other hand in FIGS. 3 and 4. 3 and 4 is located the slide in the starting position, from which a separation and dispensing of a tablet 2 can take place, while it is shifted into the open position in FIGS. Accordingly. the spring 6 is deformed in FIG. 2, which is more or less relaxed in FIG.
- transverse wall 4 c of the container 4 on its edge facing away from the dispensing side, which transverse wall 4 c is lower than the clear one Distance between the wide walls 3 b and 3 c of the housing 3 is, so that part of the slider according to Figure 3 can grip this cross wall 4 c.
- the tablet dispenser 1 is directed downward in such a way that an output channel 8 points downward (FIG. 6), that is to say that the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is to be rotated 90 ° clockwise so that gravity acts on the tablets 2 to be dispensed.
- FIG. 6 By moving the slide 5 from its initial position according to FIGS. 3 to 7 into the dispensing position according to FIGS. 1 and 2, a bottom tablet 2 lying in a collecting channel or the discharge channel 8 is released and the mouth 9 of the discharge channel 8 is opened or opened placed outside the housing 3 (see also FIG.
- this resilient web 10 comes from the area of the widening 11 a, so that now another tablet 2 can get into the mouth area, but is not initially output because the mouth of the Closure 13 of the slide 5 is closed.
- the slide 5 is frame-shaped and the outer contour of its boundaries and side webs 14 lying in the sliding direction essentially corresponds to the inner contour of the container 4, that is to say of good width and length smoothly and secured against canting. Its extending in the sliding direction side webs 14 run along the side walls 4 a of the container 4th
- this narrow side 16 is corrugated or serrated in accordance with FIGS. 2, 4 and 6, because in this way an even better loading of individual tablets relative to others is possible and thus theirs mutual touches can be solved better.
- these waves or serrations 16 a of the profiled narrow side 16 of the wall 15 have a greatest width which corresponds to approximately half to the entire diameter of a tablet 2 . This means that two tablets cannot penetrate a gap between two teeth and jam again. Nevertheless, the prongs 16a are large enough to be able to push one tablet in front of each.
- the fixed side web 11, which forms one side or delimitation of the discharge channel 8 is stationary on the container 4 and the resilient, that is to say the opposite limitation of the discharge channel, on the discharge channel 8 8 forming side web 10 on the slider 5, that is integrally formed with it.
- the support stop 12 is in turn fixed to the container 4.
- the side webs 14 of the frame-shaped slide 5 have a lower cross-sectional height than the side walls 4 a of the container 4 arranged parallel to them and that the cross-sectional height of the side webs 14 corresponds approximately to the corresponding cross-sectional thickness or clear width of the discharge channel 8.
- the clear width of the output channel 8 is still reduced by the thickness of the wall 15 compared to the cross-sectional height of these side webs 14, because the wall 15 runs in the area of the output channel 8 between continuations of these side webs 14.
- Fig. 5 makes it clear that the clear internal cross-section of the dispenser 1 in the region of these side webs 14 has no angular shoulders which could take tablets in relative movements and jam and rub against one another.
- this arrangement ensures that the clear cross section in the region of the side webs 14 extends from the housing wall 3 c and thus also the open side of the container 4 to the container base 4 b, so that the tablets 2 are moved out of the region Part can move into the unmoved area if it goes through Relative movements for the entire tablet supply in the area of the side webs 14 of the slide 5 should be too narrow.
- the flat box shape of the container 4 allows it to be filled from its open side, after which it can be inserted into the rectangular, envelope-shaped housing until it locks in its position of use or is fixed in any other way.
- the container 4 has inlet bevels 18 at its frontmost limit in the insertion direction, between which the mouth 9 of the discharge channel 8 and its closure 13 are arranged by the slide 5.
- These inlet slopes 18 of the container 4 can cross at an angle from below, that is from the bottom 4 b, upwards to the open side of the container 4, so that they also face the wide housing wall 3 b, on which the bottom 4 b comes to rest, form an inlet slope 18 a.
- This slope 18 a of the inlet slope 18 can be seen in Fig.1 and 3.
- the bottom 4b of the container 4 running between the side walls 4a has a slope 4d leading to the discharge channel 8, the lower and upper boundary 17 of which runs essentially transversely and at right angles to the side walls 4a, although this is possible is that these limits and thus the inclined bottom part 4d near the side walls 4a can also be arranged obliquely to the funnels in order to improve the feed of the tablets 2 to the entrance into the discharge channel 8.
- the side webs 14 of the slider 5 also run obliquely towards one another and towards the dispensing channel 8, approximately at the height of the sloping floor 4d, especially since they partially should continue within the limits of this output channel 8.
- the angular space thus formed between them has the wall 15 sliding along the inside of the housing, which also tapers in the sliding direction according to the slope of this area of the webs 14 and forms a delimiting flat side 19 (FIG. 6) of the output channel and also the fixed one Side web 11 of this output channel 8 covers.
- the distance between the feed slope 4 c of the bottom 4 b to the inlet slope 18 of the container 4 corresponds in the starting position of the slide 5 to at least the stroke length of the slide 5, so that it has sufficient freedom of movement for its relative movement relative to the container 4 and the inlet slope 18.
- the wall 15 connecting the areas of the side webs 14 that run obliquely towards one another is extended through the part 19 into the outlet channel 8 to limit one of the channel sides, only a few individual parts, namely the housing, result from the channel 8 despite the separating and output device therein the container and the slide, so that manufacture and, above all, assembly are inexpensive.
- this tablet dispenser 1 there is nevertheless a high level of security against malfunctions due to jammed tablets, since the slider can keep detaching tablets 2 from each other again and again in the tapering area at the entrance to the discharge channel 8.
- Another advantage is that the three-part design allows the container to be filled well and then inserted into the housing without having to take into account the movable parts required for separating, since the actual slide is arranged inside the container.
- the tablet dispenser 1 for separating and dispensing tablets 2, preferably sweetener tablets, is composed of three parts, namely the outer housing 3, a box-like container 4 fitting into this housing 3 and a slide 5.
- the housing 3 and the container 4 are fastened to one another, so that only the slide 5 is moved to dispense a tablet.
- the restoring force of the spring 6 returns it to the closed position.
- the slider 5 is frame-shaped and fits into the inner contour of the container 4. Near the inlet into the dispensing container 8, the slider has a wall 15 connecting its two side webs 14, the narrow side 16 of which, when readjusted, may lie too tightly against one another and tend to jam or jam Tablets can separate from each other again.
