Definitions

  • the invention relates to a box, in particular with a lid which can be swung open on the top, for packaging foods, such as pastries, chocolates, snacks, or the like, or other objects, the box being lined on the inside with a film and the film provided with a tear-open element which is designed as a tear-open frame connected to the upper side via a perforation, the inner frame surface of which is fixed on the outside of the film.
  • Such a box is known from GB-A-2 032 393.
  • Boxes are also known, the box body of which, for example, can be cuboid, has a window in its upper side which can be closed in that an additional lid, which is pivotally attached to the box body, can be swung open over the upper side.
  • a inside the box body Foil body, which in turn is arranged such that it lines the inside of the box.
  • the film is thus visible through the window provided in the top. Food or other objects can now be accommodated in this box lined with the film.
  • the box also has a tear-open element fixed, for example, glued to the area of the film visible through the window, via which the film can be torn in the window area and finally an access opening can be torn out.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of developing a box of the type mentioned in such a way that the contents of the pack are visible from the outside without opening the pack, and that it is easy and convenient to open, the film being opened reliably and completely becomes.
  • the tear-open element has a window, the window being connected to the upper side via the tear-open frame, and in that the film in the region of the tear-open frame edge has a perforation line corresponding to the course of the tear-open frame edge.
  • a box designed in this way has the advantage that now only the tear-open frame has to be gripped and torn out of the window on the upper side. Since the outside of the film is now glued to the inner surface of the frame, a large area of the film corresponding to the outline of the frame is also torn off. With a single tear-open movement, an opening corresponding to the window is torn into the film. The tear-open frame forms a guided tear line for the film, which improves the tear behavior.
  • Another important advantage of the invention is that the film lying inside the top no longer sags when the box blank is erected, but rather follows the position of the top.
  • the tear-open frame is connected to the upper side via a perforation.
  • This has the advantage that the tear-open frame is produced in one piece with the box blank, that is to say the box blank is punched out with the tear-open frame, the perforation lines are cut and the folds are cut can be folded without having to add the tear frame in a later step.
  • the perforation can be designed, for example, as a line, zigzag or offset perforation, in which the perforation cut on the top side of the cardboard is laterally offset from that on the underside of the cardboard.
  • the film has a perforation line corresponding to the course of the tear-off frame edge in the region of the tear-off frame edge.
  • the frame is U-shaped.
  • the free ends of the legs of the U-shaped frame are advantageously connected to the upper side via a perforation. As a result, complete tearing off of the frame and of the film part fastened to the inner surface of the frame is facilitated after the package has been torn open.
  • the free ends of the legs of the U-shaped frame are connected to the upper side by means of a fold.
  • the fold enables the frame to be pivoted so that, after the package has been torn open, the frame and the film part located on the inner surface of the frame can be pivoted back again and the package can thereby be largely closed again.
  • the tear-open frame and the film part attached to it are not torn off from the top.
  • the inner surface of the frame is preferably fixed in sections to the film. If the tear-open frame, as provided in one exemplary embodiment, is U-shaped, the film is preferably fixed, for example glued, to the inner surfaces of the two legs of the tear frame. However, the frame can also have any other shape and the film can be attached to any other location on the inner surface of the frame.
  • the tear-open frame is advantageously connected to the upper side via a perforation which represents a cutting edge for the film after the tear-off frame has been separated. If this tear-open frame connected to the upper side with such a perforation is torn open, the part of the perforation remaining on the upper side cuts into the part of the film pulled upward with the tear-open frame and thus ensures an exact separation of the film part connected to the tear-open frame from the rest, the film surrounding the product.
  • This perforation can be designed, for example, as a straight cut edge or else in a zigzag shape having cutting edges.
  • the perforation line is at least partially at a distance from the edge of the tear frame and is covered by the top.
  • the part of the film is torn off as a whole from the tear-off frame, but the tear-off line is no longer visible to the user because it lies below the top and at a distance from the edge of the tear-off frame.
  • this perforation line provides that it has offset perforation cuts, the adjacent ends of which are laterally offset from one another. This perforation line ensures that the film tears along this line and not in an uncontrolled manner.
  • the perforation cuts have a straight, first section parallel to the perforation line and a straight part, which adjoins the rear end of the first section in the tear direction and is inclined away from the part of the film to be torn off, the front end of the following parallel first section in the tear direction engaging second section.
  • a box designated as a whole is reproduced, which has a box body designated as 2 and a lid 3 which can be pivoted about the fold 5 onto the top side 4 of the box body 2.
  • the box body 2 is essentially rectangular, and has a box bottom 6 parallel to the top 4, which forms the box interior of the box 1 with the side walls 7-10. In this interior, for example, pastries, chocolates, snack items or the like are contained as filling goods.
  • the box body 2 has a window 11 on its upper side, that is to say in the upper side 4. A film 12 is visible through this window 11, which lines the interior of the box body 2 and in which the filling material located in the interior of the box body 2 is arranged.
  • the film 12 is preferably designed in color. It can also be designed as a transparent film, so that the filling material can already be inspected through the window 11 without the box having to be opened completely, since only the lid 3 has to be lifted, and finally via its insertion flap 13, which is inserted into it provided slot 14 fits, can be closed again.
  • FIG. 1 also shows a tear-open frame 15 which is connected to the tear-off frame edge 16 of the window 11 of the upper side 4 via a perforation line 17.
  • the tear-open frame 15 is essentially U-shaped, the free ends 18 of its two legs 19 being fixed to the edge 16 of the window 11 facing the fold 5, and the web 20 of the tear-open frame 15 having a substantially lenticular engagement opening 21 in which intervened, for example, with a fingertip and the web 20 for tearing off the Tear frame 15 can be raised.
  • the web 20 is also connected to the tear-off frame edge 16 via a perforation line 22.
  • the inner surface of the tear-open frame 15 is glued to the upper side of the film 12 lying against it, so that when the tear-off frame 15 is torn off, the part of the film 12 adhered to this frame 15 is also torn off. In order to exactly define the part of the film 12 to be torn off, it is delimited by a perforation line 23 which essentially follows the tear-off frame edge 16 of the window 11 of the upper side 4.
  • FIG. 2 shows the box 1 of FIG. 1, the tear-open frame 15 having already been partially torn off from the top 4 of the box 1. It can be seen here that with the tear-open frame 15 a part of the film 12 corresponding to the cross section of the window 11 is also torn off and thus access to the filling material (not shown) located inside the box is made possible.
  • the torn-off part of the film 12 remaining on the tear-off frame 15 due to the adhesive is thus torn off uniformly with the frame 15.
  • the tear edge 24 remaining along the legs 19 of the tear-open frame 15 below the upper side 4, which is only indicated in FIG. 2 is at a distance from the tear-off frame edge 16 so that it is covered by the top 4. Accordingly, the tear edge 25 of the portion of the film 12 remaining on the tear frame 15 slightly protrudes beyond the contour edge of the tear frame 15, but this does not have a disruptive effect, since the tear frame 15 is removed after the box 1 has been opened.
  • a tear edge 26 remains on the top 4 of the box 1, which slightly protrudes beyond the tear-off frame edge 16 inwards and can, for example, act as an aesthetic design element. Accordingly, the tear edge 27 on the web 20 of the tear frame 15 is set back slightly and lies at a distance from the front edge of the web 20 on the underside of the tear frame 15.
  • FIG. 3 shows a section III of FIG. 2, which shows the point at which the tear-open frame 15 is tearing off from the top 4 of the box 1.
  • the perforation line by means of which the tear-open frame 15 is fixed on the tear-off frame edge 16, and which is designed as a simple line perforation, is designated by 17. In other exemplary embodiments, this perforation can also be designed as a zigzag or as an offset perforation, in which the top of the tear-open frame 15 is laterally offset Underside is cut.
  • the perforation line 23 of the film 12 can be seen in Figure 3, which is formed from a first and a second cut 28 and 29. The first cut 28 extends parallel to the perforation line 23 and is designed as an interrupted straight cut.
  • the second cut 29 attaches to the rear end 31 of the first cut 28 in the tear direction (arrow 30) and is also designed as a straight cut, the second cut 29 being at an angle ⁇ to the first cut 28 in the tear direction (arrow 30 ) and extends in the direction of the outer edge of the box or the upper-outer edge. Furthermore, the second cut 29 is designed such that its rear end 32 in the tear direction 30 projects beyond the front end 33 of the next first cut 28. This ensures that the part of the film 12 fastened to the tear frame 15 is torn off in a controlled manner without tearing it in an uncontrolled manner.
  • FIG. 3 shows the arrangement of the tear edge 24 of the part of the film 12 remaining on the top 4 and the outstanding tear edge 25 of the part of the film 12 fixed on the tear frame 15. Due to the fact that the tear-off edge 24 is set back from the tear-off frame edge 16 and arranged on the inside of the upper side 4, it is not visible from the outside, so that irregularities of the tear-off edge 24 cannot disturb the aesthetic feeling.
