Definitions

  • the invention relates to a wet razor with a handle, at the front end of which a razor head carrying a razor blade is arranged, wherein in the area between the razor head and the handle area of the handle a rotating device is provided, by means of which the razor head with its razor blade is turned relative to the handle area of the handle an axis of rotation perpendicular to the cutting edge of the razor blade and in the longitudinal center axis of the handle can be freely rotated, the rotating device being assigned a spring return device by means of which the shaving head can be automatically reset to the starting position based on the spring force, starting from a predetermined starting position after deflections limited by stops , and wherein the grip area of the handle is formed by a sleeve which is only rotatably mounted on the actual handle and between the and the actual handle Spring is supported.
  • a wet shaver of this type in which a razor head carrying a razor blade is arranged at the front end of a handle, this razor head being firmly connected to the handle. So that the razor head can better follow the facial contour while shaving, the handle is in its longitudinal central axis rotatably trained.
  • the handle area of the handle is formed by a sleeve, which is only rotatably mounted on the actual, inner handle.
  • the area of the handle located inside is designed as a type of cylinder segment, which, with its cylindrical outer lateral surface, slidably abuts the inner surface of the sleeve.
  • a pretensioned leaf spring is supported between the inner wall of the sleeve and the cylinder segment of the handle, the spring force of which can be adjusted by a screw.
  • a major disadvantage of this known wet shaver is that the leaf spring presses the outer surface of the cylinder segment against the inner wall of the outer sleeve, so that high frictional forces occur.
  • the consequence of this, however, is that the small adjustment forces which occur during shaving are not at all able to overcome these frictional forces, so that, despite the formation of a rotating device, a rotary movement during shaving is not possible at all.
  • the torsional force is very difficult to adjust.
  • the screw for adjusting the spring force is very disadvantageous because it prevents torsion and generates radial forces.
  • the possible deflection is approximately 45 °, which creates the risk of cuts and canting of the razor head.
  • a wet razor is known, the handle of which is loosely surrounded by a coil spring such that when the user grips the handle while shaving, the handle can rotate freely about its longitudinal central axis. An automatic resetting after swivel movement is not possible with this helical spring.
  • GB-A-463 265 discloses a wet shaver whose shaver head is resiliently mounted in the axial direction of the handle.
  • an outer, sleeve-shaped handle part is provided, in which the actual, rod-shaped handle is axially displaceable, a compression spring being supported between these two handle parts. A pivoting movement of the shaver head is not possible with this wet shaver.
  • Another wet shaver is known from GB-A-610 997. It has a handle, at the front end of which a razor head is rotatably arranged, which carries the razor blade. For this purpose, an axis is rotatably mounted within the handle, at the front end of which the razor head with the razor blade is fixed.
  • the handle In order to be able to switch off the rotary movement of the razor head during shaving, the handle consists of three sector-like handle parts, which can be moved inward by appropriately gripping the handle in such a way that the axis can no longer rotate within the handle.
  • the known wet shaver with the freely rotatable shaver head initially has the disadvantage that the resistance forces occurring during shaving lead to very rapid deflection and thus adjustment of the shaver head. This does not lead to an optimal shaving result.
  • the razor head remains in the respective rotational position after it has been lifted off the face, so that the razor head must first return to its starting position for the subsequent shaving process. This is done in that the razor head is pivoted back when pressed onto the face, which also affects the comfort of shaving. Alternatively, the user can turn the handle into the new position, which is also cumbersome.
  • the object of the invention is to further develop the known wet shaver of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the rotational behavior of the shaver head is improved.
  • the spring is a helical spring which surrounds the actual handle located in the area of the sleeve forming the grip area.
  • a wet shaver designed according to this technical teaching has the advantage that the turning behavior of the shaver head is improved in comparison to the known wet shavers.
  • This is achieved by the coil spring according to the invention, which lies in the longitudinal central axis of the handle and therefore generates virtually no frictional forces between the outer sleeve and the actual handle located inside. Missing frictional forces between the turned parts have the advantage that the small adjustment forces that occur during shaving lead to a rotary movement, so that an optimal adaptation to the contour of the face can be achieved during shaving.
  • Appropriate training of the helical spring enables a well-defined resetting behavior to be created.
  • the spring characteristic (quotient the difference of the torques and the angle of rotation) very precisely according to the requirements when shaving, by varying the number of turns and the wire diameter and the diameter of the helical spring.
  • the torque limit for the fully deflected state is preferably between 10 Nmm and 100 Nmm.
  • the deflection torque from the rest position is very low and can be defined as 1 Nmm.
  • the type of spring suspension avoids the transmission of the reaction forces to the bearing system. Finally, the assembly can be carried out extremely simply and safely with the wet shaver according to the invention.
  • the deflection be limited to a maximum of approximately 30 ° in both directions of rotation, starting from the starting position.
  • This critical angle is approximately plus / minus 30 °, so that for the reasons mentioned above, a movement beyond this angle should be prevented by the stop according to the invention.
  • the angle can also be less than 30 °.
  • a razor blade unit which is separate from the razor head and is known per se, can be provided for the razor blade and can be pivoted on the razor head is arranged.
  • the razor blade unit can be arranged on the razor head so that it can be pivoted both about an axis parallel to the cutting edge and additionally about an axis perpendicular thereto, so that, together with the rotatable arrangement of the razor head on the handle, a gimbal suspension of the razor blade with oscillation possibilities about a maximum of three axes is created to a certain extent is.
  • Both embodiments of a wet shaver shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 each have a handle 1, at the front end of which a shaver head 2 is arranged, for example can be plugged on.
  • a razor blade 3 is fixedly arranged in the razor head 2.
  • the plane of the razor blade 3 includes an acute angle with the longitudinal central axis L of the handle 1.
  • the handle 1 consists of a rear part 1 'and a front part 1''.
  • Fig. 3 shows that the front part 1 '' at its lower end Connecting rod 1 ''', on which the rear part 1' of the handle 1 is screwed so that the rear part 1 'is firmly connected to the front part 1''via the connecting rod 1'''.
  • a sleeve 4 is rotatably mounted about the longitudinal central axis L of the handle 1.
  • This sleeve 4 forms the grip area for the user and defines a rotating device 5, by means of which, when the user firmly grips the sleeve 4 defining the grip area, the rear part 1 ', the connecting rod 1''', the front part 1 '' of Handle 1 together with the razor head 2 and the razor blade 3 can be freely rotated about an axis of rotation D perpendicular to the cutting edge 5 of the razor blade 3, in this embodiment the axis of rotation D of the rotating device 5 lies in the longitudinal central axis L of the handle 1. Accordingly, the plane of rotation is perpendicular to the longitudinal central axis L of the handle 1.
  • a spring return device 6 is assigned to the rotating device 5 and defines a starting position of the shaving apparatus.
  • This spring return device 6 has a spring 7 in the form of a helical spring which surrounds the connecting rod 1 '' 'of the handle 1 and is fixed with one end in the front part 1' 'of the handle 1 and the other end in the sleeve 4.
  • a stop 8 is provided between the front part 1 ′′ and the sleeve 4, which can be seen in FIG. 4 and which limits the rotary movement of the razor head 2 with respect to the sleeve 4 to 30 ° on both sides, starting from the starting position.
  • the sleeve 4 is provided with a radially inward projection 9 and the front part 1 ′′ of the handle 1 with a partially annular recess 10.
  • the handle 1 consists of the rear grip area 11 and the Handle front part 12 on which the shaver head 2 is arranged.
  • a turn device 5 is again provided between this handle area 11 and the handle front part 12 of the handle 1.
  • the axis of rotation D is inclined with respect to the longitudinal center axis L of the handle 1 and extends essentially perpendicular to the plane of the razor blade 3 arranged in the razor head 2. Accordingly, the front end of the handle area 11 is chamfered in the area of the rotating device 5 of the handle 1.
  • the rotating device 5 of this second embodiment can be designed in a suitable manner, for example by the handle front part 12 being rotatably mounted in the grip area 11 via a pivot pin.
  • a suitable spring return device must also be provided.
  • the design of the rotating device 5 in the handle 1 optimally follows the razor head 2 and thus the razor blade 3 of the face contour during the shaving process in both embodiments.
  • the razor head 2 is always correctly aligned without, for example, the risk of tilting.
  • the spring return device 6 prevents the razor head 2 from being deflected and adjusted too quickly by the resistance forces that occur during shaving.
  • the spring return device 6 ensures that the razor head 2 returns to the defined starting position after lifting off the face.
  • the razor blade 3 is fixed in the razor head 2.
  • a so-called razor blade unit in which the razor blade is embedded in a non-detachable manner in a plastic housing, which in turn is held on the razor head, for example by means of a fork holder.
  • the razor blade unit it is additionally possible for the razor blade unit to be mounted on the razor head so as to be oscillatable about an axis parallel to the cutting edge of the razor blade.
  • the razor blade unit it is also conceivable to allow the razor blade unit to swing about an axis perpendicular thereto, so that a gimbal bearing of the razor blade 3 with optimal adjustment options is then created.
