Abstract

463,265. Safety razors. BEVIS, J. E. Oct. 3, 1936, No. 27337. [Class 30] In order to allow the head to yield in the longitudinal direction of the handle it is fitted with a long stem 2 adapted to pass down the whole length of the sleeve 3 and a compression spring 4 is inserted between it and the sleeve. Slight side play also may be provided by tapering the sleeve. A pin 5 on the stem 2 enters a slot 6 and prevents relative rotation. In a modified form the spring is at the other end of the sleeve and inside it.
